What can I say, other than What a Fantastic Home!!! I cannot fault the care, support and genuine love shown to my family and my Dad (who loves his Salubrious Accommodation!.. His words)
It is a truly wonderful place to be. If dad has been ill ( which in nearly five years, is only twice) .. then all
the stops are pulled out, and the doc or emergency staff seem to turn up in minutes to help. On Both occasions the staff too, have been amazing in keeping me posted and in their fantastic care for Dad.
Entertainment is great too, always something happening and the residents are encouraged to join in, but free to make a choice.
I've already booked my room!!
A Mahooooosive thanks from me and Dad, to all the lovely staff and Management !!

After a terrible ordeal in hospital came to this nursing home. What an amazing place! Clean and tidy. Staff who are caring, committed and experienced in the care of the residents! Nothing is too much trouble, attended to 24/7. All of the staff are focused and work well as a team, which is good for me.
Lots of weekly activities, catering for all needs. Beautiful garden to sit in and chat to other residents. Food is excellent, chef will cook anything that you want. Well run by the manager.

My mother-in-law was only at Beechwood for a short time but during her time there she was treated with so much compassion and respect. All of the staff at Beechwood are amazing, nothing was ever too much trouble. There was always a kind word, a hug when needed and they helped us through a very difficult
time when mum passed away.

During the ten weeks that my wife was in Beechwood Nursing Home, she was cared for with love, dignity and professionalism. The staff were not only caring towards my wife, but were concerned also for me and visiting friends and family, constantly offering tea, cake and kind words.
I must mention not
only the wonderful medical and admin staff, but also the amazing people running the kitchen and the cleaners.
My wife died in May but her passing was made infinitely easier for us by the advice and ministrations of the nurses and carers.

My mother was transfered there for paliative care.
She was given a beautifully decorated room close to the nurses station. During her 2 months there she was cared for as though she was their own relative. Unable to speak, it was clear from her reaction to the staff entering the room that she had a
very close relationship with them.
As a relative they were absolutely wonderful to us during a very emotional period for us. They were supportive, kind and so understanding. Mum passed away there this week and they supported her and us every step of the way.

I will share your kind words with the staff, thank you.

I'm a friend of a resident who has been in the home since discharge from hospital last June. The care and professionalism of carers, nurses and kitchen staff is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble.
Not only do they care for residents but they are there for family and friends alike. They are
reassuring in difficult times and always there with a friendly face.
Their website says family and this is certainly one big family.

Mum did not want to go into a home and it was the hardest decision myself and my daughter made.
But I could no longer look after Mum at home and we had lost the mother/daughter relationship.
The staff at Woodlands made Mum feel at home and she now loves it. But most of all they helped us as well.
Recently
Mum was taken into hospital and one particular carer (she,ll know who we mean) was incredible.
Thank you Woodlands.
We love you.

The care of my increasingly frail mother has been exemplary. Nothing has been too much trouble for the staff in ensuring that she is as content and comfortable as possible. The management and staff have been diligent and alert during recent health setbacks and I have had complete confidence in their

From the manager, deputy manager to the care staff, kitchen staff, cleaners, activities organiser and laundry staff, I have only found all the staff to be welcoming, friendly, kind, caring and always happy to speak to you if I have any concerns about my mum. The staff have never been rude to any family
members. Since my mum moved in to Cross Way House, she has come on leaps and bounds, she loves living there, she loves all the staff and has a lot of respect for them and what they do for her on a daily basis. I have never seen my mum so happy. We were very lucky to find this care home, couldn't be happier, knowing my mum is in safe hands and being very well cared for.

My mum moved into Cross Way House care home in December. Nothing has been too much of a problem when we visit, they have always been extremely helpful when we have asked for our mum to be in her room, when we have needed to speak about finances, we are even allowed to bring our dog.
We always ring
to say we are on our way, this gives them time to have mum in her bedroom.
Unfortunately today I spoke with assistant manager to say we were coming to see mum regarding POA so needed to speak in private in her room.
The assistant manager was rude on the phone saying we have only put your mum in the day room and now you want us to move her and then you only stay for a few minutes, we are busy and you will have to wait if your mum is not in her room. We were happy to wait.
When we see mum, normally after one minute she asks us to leave, we respect this.
I tried to explain to the assistant manager why we don't stay long, but she was not interested.
Reply from Della Pope, Manager at Cross Way House

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience regarding your visits. We sincerely value feedback as it helps us continuously improve the care and services we provide. We are pleased to hear that you have generally found our staff helpful and accommodating and appreciated being able to bring your dog along to see your mum. We strive to create a welcoming environment for both our residents and their loved ones. However, I am very sorry to learn that your recent interaction with a member of our staff. We understand how important it is for families to have private time with their loved ones, particularly when discussing matters like power of attorney, and we sincerely apologize if this situation caused any frustration or upset. Please rest assured that I will address your concerns internally. We are committed to resolving this matter and ensuring that all future visits are positive and respectful for you and your mum. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.

My brothers and I have been impressed by the welcome and warmth shown to our brother since his arrival in the summer. Despite his dementia, he has regained some speech after several years previously when he was unable to say much at all. We are sure this is due to the stimulating activities provided
by the care home. We've also noted that his awareness and concentration have improved. All the staff are such caring and understanding people. He could not be in better hands. His bedroom has room for all his books and the maintenance staff kindly put up his favourite pictures. We can visit at any time we want and are always made very welcome indeed. We could not be more delighted with Solent Cliffs.
