IBeing a carer myself I was very worried whether mum was going to be looked after well and would she settle alright within days I knew the kindness each and every staff gave to mum going above and beyond.Giving mum privacy dignity and empathy .I could see the staff to them wasn't just a job they gave
everything talking singing joking with her,it was clear mum thought they were all her family .We were always given updates on mum as well as any appointments ect well in advance and we knew the manager and her team were always there for us as a family as well I can't praise them enough.im so glad mum was at Cameron house and I thank them from the bottom of my heart.

The home is really well run - the manager is organised, conscientious and always acts quickly to respond to things; either those imposed or as a result of things occurring with individuals. The fact that there is good staff retention reinforces this. I am notified quickly of anything I need to know
and am involved in any decisions and appointments. My mother has been a resident for three and a half years and is happy and settled. I have total confidence that the staff care for her in the way I would do myself - they treat her with care, compassion and respect. Staff take the time to understand Mum’s interests and likes, going the extra mile to engage her. For example, one lovely carer knows Mum loves to sing, and she will engage her by singing to encourage her to join in.

My Mum was admitted to Cameron House just over a year ago, she has Vascular Dementia and although we had home care for her for a while it came to a point that it was dangerous for her to be on her own. It is a very hard decision to put your loved one in a home but also finding the right one, well we
were lucky to have found the manager and her marvellous team at Cameron House. All of the staff there are very helpful and friendly, the rooms are comfortable, they have nice food and if there is anything you want they do their best to help get it for them. Mum is 90 and tells the staff she loves them and I think that says a lot, she seems happy as can be expected in her state of health. Roll on the summer months when they can sit in the lovely garden and on the decking and enjoy the scenery there. All round standards are kept up at Cameron House and give us peace of mind that Mum is safe and cared for. Thanks to all the staff from the family.

My sister has been a resident at Cameron House for quite a number of years. Throughout her stay, she has always received the very best of care given with compassion love, kindness, support, respect and dignity.
I have also been given the same in abundance with empathy support and reassurance in the
knowledge that my dear sister is receiving the very best of care. The manager who goes above and beyond along with all the staff is extremely professional, friendly, helpful, kind and empathetic. Thank you seems inadequate for the outstanding, excellent quantity and quality of care.

My mum has been at Cameron House since October 2023 and she has settled in really well. The staff and manager are very friendly and caring and she seems to be very happy there. There are lots of activities for her to participate in, but I think she enjoys helping the staff with things the best. Thank
you for looking after my mum so well.
