Staff were very friendly. I got a lot of confidence from the OT team helping with exercises. I would have liked cold water/fridge available to drink as water given was warm and not changed often enough during day which made it hard to drink enough. I think each room should have a small fridge in it
so I could store cold drinks.
Reply from Paul Burns, Director at Victoria Chatsworth

Thank you for your feedback and I am very sorry that you had an issue with the drinking water and will raise this with the staff.

I have now been in the Victoria Chartwell for 4 weeks and my room is lovely and I must say the care I have had from all who work here are very friendly and always willing to help no matter your request. Many of the staff always smile when greeting you which makes your day a happier one, they listen
to you on your bad days and talk in a way to cheer you up. They are all very underrated group of people who deserve more.

I couldn't praise the care home more. In just over a week since my mum has been under their care, I have seen such an improvement in her mobility and state of mind. All staff have been so lovely to me and our family and friends who are visiting. I feel my mum is in a very good safe hands.

Caring and patient staff were encouraging, especially the physios greatly aided me to increase my mobility. Comfortable room and excellent food. Possibly, there could be more attention to explaining procedures when a resident first comes here and in preparation for leaving. Somethings learned only by
asking.
