Was sent from hospital for respite care following hip operation. Staff were caring and welcoming I was treated with dignity. Premises were clean and welcoming decor. Bedding was changed regularly and patient clothes also. If hot drinks were asked for out of usual meal times they were provided without
query. You felt comfortable as times. Visitors were welcome and tea/etc was provided if requested for them also.

Victoria Highgrove BN3 6QD is by far a wonderful nursing home in the whole of B'ton + Hove from the moment of entering the building your welcomed with such warmth and sincere care. For the residents its like a home from home. While settling in can be difficult? not here in Victoria Highgrove. The staff
make the transition so easy for the family and friends its a great comfort, not just knowing this but witnessing the amazing staff which manager Emma has put together a unique team. Day & Night staff blend and work really well together. She & all the senior staff, the carers to cooks, cleaners & laundry staff should be immensely proud of themselves. I cannot recommend Victoria Highgrove enough. Whoever should stay here - short or long term will be extremely lucky to be supported by such a wonderful team.

I was given a warm welcome from Eliza and some of her staff. I was only a short term resident but I was catered for. The food was lovely and freshly cooked. My room was small but it was clean. I was given a lovely bath and hair wash that a carer helped me with. She treated me with respect and dignity.
I was a short term patient but treated very well.

The staff here are absolutely wonderful, cheerful, helpful and extremely kind. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is 5 star and the chef's interested in your likes and dislikes. There is nothing that I can fault with my whole experience. It has been wonderful.

I have spent practically all of April in this lovely nursing home. I have been treated with the upmost care and compassion by all the staff. Food has been very good variety of all meats, fruit and veg. Soups lovely. Nurses have been brilliant with keeping my pain under control, and assisting me when
I had low days. Carers are equally amazing too. Physio and occupational therapists have been encouraging and very helpful.

I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone connected with Victoria Chatsworth House, I had the most wonderful stay and was treated with so much care and kindness. Indeed, my only regret was saying goodbye to new found friends. Perhaps not the happiest of circumstances which brought me to Chatsworth
but an experience I will never forget. I cannot begin to itemise the many aspects of my time, warm bed, excellent food and wonderful staff. I must book for my next holiday!

Mum was there for rehab. The staff really did her proud. She went from unable to stand to walking with a frame and from needing help with everything to being able to manage the toilet and to cross the room to fetch things herself. They were very attentive and caring. Mum went from nervous to very happy.

My wife was transferred to Highgrove from hospital after a major operation to receive rehab care. She has been well looked after by very caring staff including physios and therapists. The home is safe, professionally managed with a care plan and a very capable chef producing meals of a good standard.
My wife is now ready to come home after a very caring period of rehab.

While most things were good my room was dirty and never got cleans once all the time I was with you and the towels could have been changed regularly.
Reply from Paul Burns, Director at Victoria ChatsworthI am very sorry to hear this and can't quite understand as our cleaner has been with us for 20+ years without issue. I will obviously need to find out what happened to ensure this doesn't occur in the future. Very sorry.

I am in my 80's and was very nervous about going into a nursing home but on arrival I was pleasantly surprised, so different from what I expected. Everybody very friendly couldn't do enough for you it was my first time as a patient not a visitor, food was very much. I was so suprised and always looked
forward to meals, not dreading them.

Very well run by all who worked there. I would recomend any person who needs care and attention in later life to reside here. My thanks
