I am in my 80's and was very nervous about going into a nursing home but on arrival I was pleasantly surprised, so different from what I expected. Everybody very friendly couldn't do enough for you it was my first time as a patient not a visitor, food was very much. I was so suprised and always looked
forward to meals, not dreading them.
Reply from Paul Burns, Director at Victoria ChatsworthI am so glad that we were able to show you how enjoyable a nursing home can be.

I found my stay at the nursing home very pleasant. The manageress and her staff made my stay very comfortable (3 months) it was a very happy atmosphere to be there. Very well run by all who worked there. I would recomend any person who needs care and attention in later life to reside here. My thanks
to all staff and carers for looking after during my stay there. Thanks to Victoria Chartwell I am back gome on full recovery.
Reply from Paul Burns, Director at Victoria ChartwellThank you for your review and you will be aware that we are now undergoing a full refurbishment to enhance the rooms and facilities.

I cannot express in words the exemplary care I recieved from entire staff during my spell in rehab. They got me on my feet again after sustaining a bad fall breaking my right pelvis. Further more sustaining an abscess resulting in being hospitalised for a few days during my stay here + further care
on my return back.
Reply from Paul Burns, Director at Victoria HighgroveThank you so much for your lovely 5-star review.

I only have good things to say about the staff - caring cheerful, making me feel at home rially. I do find that the room was very tired looking and needed decorating plus new carpet otherwise comfortable.
Reply from Paul Burns, Director at Victoria ChatsworthWe are sorry to hear your observations regarding the bedroom but we do agree with you and as soon as we can have the room vacant it will be getting a full refurbishment. I am sorry this wasn't done by the time you were admitted.

The staff are excellent. They are all very welcoming, understanding, and caring. They are all very hardworking and nothing is overlooked. The comfort of the residents is their prime concern. The food is plentiful and a wide variety is available. The level of cleanliness can not be surpassed. The entire
home is spotlessly clean.
