I only have good things to say about the staff - caring cheerful, making me feel at home rially. I do find that the room was very tired looking and needed decorating plus new carpet otherwise comfortable.
Reply from Paul Burns, Director at Victoria ChatsworthWe are sorry to hear your observations regarding the bedroom but we do agree with you and as soon as we can have the room vacant it will be getting a full refurbishment. I am sorry this wasn't done by the time you were admitted.

The staff are excellent. They are all very welcoming, understanding, and caring. They are all very hardworking and nothing is overlooked. The comfort of the residents is their prime concern. The food is plentiful and a wide variety is available. The level of cleanliness can not be surpassed. The entire
home is spotlessly clean.

Having been in Victoria Chatsworth from July to October I do not remember the first few weeks but after that when I improved I was very pleased with my room and the surroundings. The food was excellent and you get a different choice every day. I did not take part of the activities as that is not something
I like but there was always a choice of activities. The staff were always friendly and very helpful and I miss them now I am at home.

I am writing on behalf of my Aunt who recently stayed following her hospital admission.

The interior of the home needs decorating / updating as it looks somewhat tired in some areas but that does not retract from what is most important...... The delivery of care.

The manager and staff are very

kind, supportive and deliver appropriate and effective care with dignity and respect; they also listened and acted in the best interest of my Aunt, liaising with the family, all health, allied health and social care representatives effectively and in a timely manner.

My aunt reported that the food was good and she put on some much needed weight which is so important for her health and wellbeing.

I would like to thank each and every one of the staff for their kindness and compassion.

Reply from Paul Burns, Director at Victoria ChartwellThank you so much for your kind review and we agree about the interior needing updating and you should know that contractors have now commenced on a full refurbishment and extension of the home.
