Mum was not at Wellington House for long but she was so well cared for during her stay. The staff were always friendly to Mum and us when we visited (which was often). We knew that she was safe and well looked after. During her last days, all the staff were amazing and we would have no hesitation in
recommending others to use Wellington House for their loved ones. Thank you so so much for looking after our Mum with kindness and empathy when she needed it most.

My uncle went into Adelaide after a horrible time in hospital, he became too weak to go home so went into Adelaide. Within a few weeks under their care and support he gained some of his strength back. The staff here are absolutely amazing, they treat everyone with dignity and nothing is too much trouble.
They honestly made the final 15 months that my uncle had the best possible due to the care and kindness they showed him. The staff really are what makes this place the special home it is. I can't speak highly enough of Adelaide House and would recommend it to anyone looking for care of a loved one

For the 5 weeks my brother stayed at Wellington House care home he was well cared for by the nurses, and care staff, and they were always so welcoming when myself, family and his friend visited him at the home offering us refreshments and biscuits. His room was always kept clean, it was spacious and
he had a wet room, TV, wardrobe and drawers for his clothes. He got to know a few of the other residents when he went into the lounge. The Admin Manager was always very helpful to me and my daughter when we had any questions to do with my brothers care. My daughter and I would like to say a big thank you to everyone at Wellington House.

My mother was admitted to Adelaide Nursing Home in July 2025 at the age of 93, after a series of falls and continuous health issues, and it was such a concern for all who cared for her as she wanted to remain in her home. Adelaide Nursing Home were fantastic and my trust in all the staff never faltered
and I will always be grateful for that. My mother passed away in September and I was by her side. I will always think of you all with warmth, and gratitude. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart x

Although Mum's stay was only for a short time I was so impressed with the staff. They were all attentive, extremely friendly and always smiling and welcoming.
Everyone was so caring and knowledgable about dementia/Alziehiemers and it was a delight and reassuring to see how all staff engaged with the
other residents. I can truely say this nursing home has the resident's care at the centre of everything they do

Mum was looked after by Wellington House for over 3 years. She received exceptional care from the lovely, compassionate staff, who were always helpful and kind to her. They also looked after our wider family and we felt as though we were part of the Wellington House family. We all enjoyed their Summer
and Christmas parties, which the staff worked hard to organise. Mum was also able to take part in various activities and attend music afternoons.

My aunt of 97 years was admitted into Adelaide House after the decision was made that she could no longer live independently in her flat following a fall that required surgery. A lovely ground floor room was arranged for her. Her time there was only short as she fell ill very suddenly and was admitted
into hospital, where she sadly passed away. Myself and the family were so grateful to all the staff from those that cleaned, did the laundry, prepared the food (which she enjoyed very much) and the nurses. They were all very friendly, kind, attentive, nothing was too much trouble for them and excellent patient care. I was always offered a cup of tea or coffee when I visited and was made to feel very welcome. Whilst my aunt was in hospital they would often ring me not just to find out how my aunt was but to see how I was as well. In my opinion it was a very well run home with professional staff that delivered a high standard of care.

Staff are always welcoming, kind and professional. They treat residents with dignity + respect, maintaining privacy when transferring them to wheelchairs etc. Dad looks well cared for and it's reassuring to see him smiling at staff + reach out to them for support. Dad is settled + calm. The cleaning
team deserve praise, the home is clean + tidy and usually free from any unpleasant odours. The activities co-ordinator is enthusiastic and keeps us informed and shows us photos of Dad taking part in some activities. One small suggestion would be to add more sensory items throughout the home, both indoors + outdoors. Overall, thank you to all staff.

I unfortunately broke my shoulder and then fell and caused a tear in my rotary cuff on the other arm. I had to stay in hospital for11 days and then go to Wellingtons House for respite as I wouldn't be able to cope at home on my own.Wellington House was welcoming and made my stay a fantastic experience
and not like I expected. My room was comfortable and clean with an on-suite and TV. The Staff were so caring and nothing was too much trouble for them smiling the whole time doing a difficult job. I enjoyed all my food there even though I'm known as a fussy eater. I improved over my stay doing keep fit etc and was helped in every way possible so that I was well enough to return home. It's great to be home but I can't thank Wellington House Staff enough and must admit I felt quite sad to be leaving as it was like leaving special friends. If I ever need care in the future I definitely know where to go.

I visited my friend every week for the past 4 years, with only the odd exception due to covid restrictions, during which period I found all the sdtaff to be attentive, caring and helpful, led by a lovely person, who was always cheerful and positive despite, no doubt having huge responsibilities...
Sadly
my friend passed away on Masy 1st following a long period of declining health so I will no longer have a reason to visit this lovely establishment.

My sister has been in temporary residence at Wellington House for the past few weeks. She is now moving on but the highest compliment I can pay is that her biggest regret on moving is that she will lose lots of friends she has made among the staff and fellow residents. Indeed our own experience during
our visits has been of very friendly and courteous staff at all levels, and that every one of them cared for their residents.
Could we mention in particular the lady on Reception who couldn't be more helpful and friendly, and a credit to the Home!
Given that it was a short stay our experience of the premises themselves was limited, but they were certainly very well maintained. My sister's room was pleasant and comfortable and perfectly adequate for her needs.
Overall, we'd be happy to recommend Wellington House to anyone needing such facilities.

Mum was very well looked after in the three and a half years that she was there. Her care was exceptional, and our whole family were treated as part of the Wellington family. All the staff (everyone from the housekeeping team, receptionist, chef, care assistants, nurses and manager) were always kind
and respectful and were there whenever needed.

Mum, who is nearly 92, was put on end of life care by the hospital after suffering various infections which were not responding to treatment. For what we thought were her last few days, she was given the option of a nursing home and Adelaide House was chosen. They have made her welcome, comfortable
and have attended to her every need. The staff are all welcoming, helpful and very very kind. She has responded well to their care and thoughtfulness. They give little treats like flowers on Mothers Day, little eggs at easter and various meal time specials such as chocolate eclairs and sausage rolls. Nothing is too much trouble and I have total peace of mind.

Our Mum moved to Adelaide House for end of life care after a short spell in Hospital.
She had lived independently all her life so there was some nervousness about this move.
We had absolutely nothing to be concerned about, Mum's final weeks at Adelaide House were happy. She had a string of visitors,
made new friends and told my Sister and I she was well looked after and was not worried about anything.
We were so impressed with the staff, they were so caring and kind and Mum was treated with dignity at all times.
We were welcome to visit Mum at any time of the day or night and always greeted with a smile.

My Dad was in Bletchingley from 07/21 to 03/2/25. We & Dad had the best care ever. Cannot praise the nurses, care staff, domestic staff, admin + manager enough. We had 1st class care. My dads needs were v. complex + I think it would have been difficult to meet his needs elsewhere. V.v. clean + everything
worked well, as it is a new build. It as always calm, welcoming, friendly to relatives, when your relative is in the home the family can feel quite vulnerable, this was absolutely not the case in this home. Never once did we get the feeling that we were interfering. Always appeared to be very well staffed, when he needed assistance they were there. Even down to the admin lady, she was so welcoming, relaxed and smiley. They treated my dad with respect.

My father was placed in the Wellington for rehabilitation for a couple of months. I can't thank the Staff enough for the care that they gave him. It's has a lovely warm friendly atmosphere. I was always greeted with a smile from everyone when I visited.
They offered a great deal of activities and
entertainment! Which My dad enjoyed.
I couldn't of wished for a better place for him to stay.
