I could not be happier with the care my father has received, it has certainly brought my dad back to his old self. The staff are always happy and smiling and keep me fully up to date on his care. I feel very lucky and relieved that my dad is placed in such a wonderful care home. My dad has made friends and is now living a much more varied life than before.

I've not encountered a single negative all the time he's there. As a family, we're able to enjoy our time with dad knowing he's in good hands.

My mother has now been a resident for 1 year. I am extremely happy with all aspects of her care. Any queries I have are always listened to and dealt with in a timely and professional manner. All the staff are friendly, caring and helpful to myself, family and especially my Mum. The Home has a lovely feeling about it and I am pleased I was able to get a room there for her.

The staff at Birch Grove are the best; So incredibly kind and actually caring. They treat my mum like a member of the family. Once when we got back from a birthday lunch out and 7 or so staff members appeared with a big cake and sang to her in her room, you could see you joy on her face. Every time she has a fall, they are immediately on the phone to let us know and reassure us she's ok. My mum has been in a few care homes and this is by far the very best. As I said, the staff actually care, which is far from a given. They give us peace of mind knowing she is safe and happy as possible.

My father was placed in Adelaide nursing home in January of this year and still resides there . My father arrived after being in hospital for three months he was a bag of bones still suffering with delirium however thanks to everyone of the amazing staff and management my dad is now healthy full mental capacity and the happiest we could ever of wanted for him . The staff residents there one big happy family . The care communication from carers to management is faultless you are included as a family . The home itself is clean spotless no smells as you normally find in this environment and nothing is too much trouble for any member of staff . There kindness and care towards my dad and all residents has resulted in my dad enjoying life again . From days out with the lovely activities team to party's celebrations of certain times of the year I and my family honestly couldn't have chosen a better place than Adelaide house . We never worry about him as we know he has the best care

The management and nursing staff are compassionate, professional, and truly centered on her wellbeing. Whenever I visit, I am always greeted warmly and kept well-informed of her health and daily activities. It is a huge comfort to know she is in such safe, capable hands. My mother who was 101 yrs and was only in Adelaide House for 1 week was treated with care + respect during her last week of her long life. The staff were excellent + communicated with me at all times. Management were always available + treated my mother with the utmost care.

Birch Grove Care Home has been a wonderful place for my family member and I am pleased that I chose it. There's always something happening - from birthdays to Chinese New Year, they always find a reason to celebrate and bring everyone together. The staff are warm, pleasant, and genuinely caring. They also keep in regular contact, which is especially reassuring as I live far away. I'm very grateful for the support they provide.

My husband has been a resident since November 2025 & I couldn't wish for him to be in better hands. Everyone of the staff - from the manager to this whole team are supportive, knowledgeable & caring. They treat the residents with dignity & patience even in the most challenging circumstances

Birch Grove Nursing Home is a very well run home. It organises very suitable activities in the afternoons for the residents. They also put on great entertainment events on special days during the year. There is a hair dressing salon, and a chiropodist regularly visits.

Mum was placed in Adelaide House for emergency care due to a breakdown in live in care. Although we did not choose this nursing home, we are so happy she was placed there. From the moment we arrived on a December night, they showed so much compassion for our situation. Mum received excellent care while she was there. Mum's health declined, and she passed away. The end-of-life care was wonderful, all staff so kind, so caring, and so respectful.

My brother has been a resident of Adelaide House for more than 21 years. The staff there have all gone above and beyond in their care of him. His room has always been immaculate, as has the rest of the house. The activities put on for the residents have been very varied and well run. I would thoroughly recommend Adelaide House. The staff have all been so caring and very welcoming when I visit.

My Aunt is 97 and is loving the food, company and activities she can be part of and I am loving the security of knowing she is safe and so well cared for, thank you all.

After 5 month's care for my husband I am impressed by the level of care and lovely staff at Birch Grove. They are always welcoming and obliging. The daily routine fits around the residents' needs, catering is good and there are many social events for family members.
