Experience has been good ,always been listened to. No complaints at all ,staff have been very jolly . Claire the entertainment lady does her best as do all the staff ,and managers are hands on . Residents always look clean .

Staff are caring and engaged, always willing to take the rime to talk about the service user, to learn about the service user, and to use that knowledge to better understand the service user, and to meet their needs and wants.

My mother has been here for 10 weeks and is non verbal. The staff have worked very hard to get to know her as an individual and adapt to her communication needs. This home has a very caring environment and atmosphere. It has excellent managers, senior staff, carers, chef and support staff who are all committed to meeting each residents individual needs.

I have found all the staff very helpful and very friendly. The guests rooms are a nice size and have doors to a patio. They have everything they require in their rooms. There is a nice lounge where they can interact with others if they so require.

Us as a family know we have made the right choice of care home for dads latter years. Thank you everyone

When he first arrived he spent most of his time in his room, but he is now spending time in the communal areas and socialising with the other residents.

The staff seem to be able to remember me and who i am visiting

My brother has been at Hill Barn since March. He took a little while to settle as he has many complex problems. But with the care and attention from the manager, vice manager and through to carers kitchen staff & cleaner he has settled well and is well looked after. It has a very difficult time for our family but they have all helped us, and always very polite and we are all happy he is here.

My Mom has been a resident at Hill Barn care home for three and a half years and the care she has received has been excellent. The management and carers have really looked after my mom. Any questions I have had have been addressed.

Mum had a great 18 months at Church Farm and enjoyed all the activities on offer. She loved so many of the great staff and at her passing the love and care they had for her was also very great. Keep on doing what you do so well and only getting better with the appointment of your amazing new manager.

Nothing has been too much trouble for the staff as they have helped our relative settle in. All the staff have been so kind. They have taken time to get to know him and his interests. They have noted his preferences on food and worked hard to provide this for him. As a result he has accepted life in Fairland House very easily. Thank you to all the staff.

Although Ailwyn Hall had a challenging 2025, I am very impressed with the way that the new management team have set about putting things right. They are working hard to tick numerous boxes going forward. There are more family meetings, which myself and other relatives of residents are finding very helpful. The feedback, criticisms and relevant ideas for both the immediate and long term future of the home and the residents, feels like it's being actively responded to.

All the staff are brilliant. It's one big happy family. Mum was always clean in her clothes and washed. Her room was always clean. The staff made me very welcome. The staff was always pleasant to me and called me by my first name. I was so happy when my mum moved into the home. Know she passed away, all the staff were lovely, they couldn't help me enough. The home is always clean, and the food is brilliant. You cannot ask for a better home and lovely staff. I am going to miss seeing the wonderful staff. I was pleased my mum was in that home.

Hill Barn is an amazing place, and my mother was cared for to a high standard. Nothing was too much trouble, and all the staff so helpful. Hill Barn is amazingly clean and led by a first class management team. I could have not wanted for anything better for my mum.

Very friendly care home with all staff who are dedicated. Any problems at all they are dealt with immediately. Would recommend. My mother moved into this care home 5 years ago and l had many concerns but lately new management have taken over and l have no problems at all.

My mother had been a resident at Hill Barn for very nearly 5 years prior to her recent death. Being a small sized care home I have found it to be a a very friendly and caring environment. Over a period as long as this there have of course been periods where the staff have come and gone more often than I would have liked but unfortunately that is the nature of the business. Through thought there has been a nucleus of staff who have remained constant and always done their very best for my mother. In the final weeks of my mother's life I was genuinely moved by the way by the way the staff cared for her and kept me informed of developments.

I found the staff very friendly, very good support. Everything that needs to be done it is achieved. If I ask for help is given. I like going out with with others residents using the company's bus, recently we had a good experience at the Norwich Cathedral.

Our father spent around a year at Hill Barn. From day one, I had a good feeling. The manager was very welcoming and professional. All the staff involved came across very caring and performed their duties well. I felt dad was taken care of very well, and I never felt any concerns for my dad. The home itself had a nice feel to it, being converted barns, etc., and the grounds were well kept and a nice place to sit. Thank you to all the management and staff!
