Overall Experience
Care has been taken to make the communal areas very homely.
Staff are excellent. Very friendly & caring.
My mum is very happy. She says nothing is too much trouble with the staff.
The only downside at all is the cost. It is very expensive.

As a family we are confident that our mother's welfare is priority here.

After living alone for many years my brother moved into Woodfield Court. He settled in fairly quickly and enjoys the interaction with the carers and residents alike. He always tucks in to a range of meals presented Afterwards he may retreat to his en-suite bed/sitting room for a nap. His room is light and airy and he often comments on the birds, trees, gardeners and surroundings. Activities are daily and he joins in. He certainly loves the trips out to a variety of places and can look at the photographs afterwards. Woodfield Court gives my brother contentment, jolliness, a sense of happiness and peace of mind.

I was very impressed with how professionally & quickly the management reacted when my father was in need of emergency care. All staff at Woodfield Court were very welcoming and supportive and knowledgeable in their job roles, giving my father dignity and respect. My father has been happy and content and has gained his confidence while he has had a short stay in respite care. He was given an activities program, but at this time he preferred to stay in his room to recover.

Mum has been with Woodfield court for a few weeks now and I have found the home itself to be very clean and does not have the usual Carehome smell, the staff and very attentive and always happy and laughing with mum which is how she has always been, so the environment suits her completely.
Mum has been to a few of the organised activities and has enjoyed them, there is a wide variety of things organised for the residents with live music sometimes and also trips out.

It was a hard decision to advise mum she needed to go in to a care home, but with Woodfield court I feel it has been the right choice and mum is thriving.

Staff are very friendly and bubbly. Treat Mum with great kindness and patience. To the extent Mum calls it "home". She has been at Woodfield Court for 8 years, reaching 100 in Jan. The staff and care she receives made that possible.

Lovely care home, nice bright clean rooms and well kept grounds. But what stands out is the staff, all friendly from the moment you walk in and nothing is too much trouble. They don't just care for mum, they take a real interest, have a laugh and make mum smile even when she is going through some tough moments.

I visit my sister regularly, and I am made to feel welcome as soon as I enter the front door. This continues throught my visit, being greeted and spoken to by every member of staff. My sister is well looked after and cared for. Her room is lovely, and she is encouraged to go to the dining room and lounges to interact with the other residents. However, if she stays in her room staff call in to see if she needs anything and is okay. I cannot recomment Woodfield Court enough. Excellent!

I feel incredibly lucky to have my mother accommodated at Chilton Court. My sister got married on 26/01/2026; one of mums carers assisted mum in preparing her for the wedding, getting her to the venue & supporting her throughout. Mums carer is an asset to Chilton Court. She not only demonstrated professionalism and reliability but also genuine kindness, patience and compassion. She treated my mum with dignity & respect at all times. As a family, we felt reassured knowing our mum was in such capable & caring hands. Thank you.

Overall Experience

My great uncle has been a resident at Chilton Court for a number of weeks now, we were nervous how he would cope with the change of being at home on his own to then into a care home. But wow! The staff are amazing! He has so much social interaction now. He looks and is happier and healthier, his medication is now being taken correctly. There is so much for him to do and lots of amazing people to engage with! The rooms are immaculate, with lots of room. He's made some great new friendships already, they promote his independence so well! The communication from the staff at chilton court to us family members is the best I've ever seen. A special mention to Vicky & Charlotte. The home has a very welcoming atmosphere, everyone is so friendly and helpful, they really couldn't do more for us all. Chilton court also gives a real home feeling as you walk in, it's definitely the best care home I've ever seen. Massive thanks to Chilton court!

Mum was admitted early October with very little notice, initially as a respite trial but now on a permanent basis.

The staff at Chilton Court have been helpful, friendly and informative throughout. They have treated mum fantastically and dad says they are always friendly to him and he appreciates the way they treat mum.

Overall Experience

My mother moved into a self-contained courtyard unit at Chilton Court five years ago when she turned 90 and when her vascular dementia was not too advanced. As her dementia worsened her care package was enhanced and eventually she moved into the care home itself, where she remained until her death earlier this week. From day one through to end-of-life, mum received excellent care from staff who are friendly and thoughtful. They treat all the residents with dignity and genuinely looking out for their needs. As mum entered her final days, it was a comfort to know that she was amongst people she knew and who cared about her.

Overall Experience

Chilton Court is very homely and treat the residents like family. There is a calm atmosphere to the home. If you need to discuss anything there is always senior available. The management are expereienced and ready to discuss any concerns. The accommodation is excellent. Mum and Dad have moved around and changed locations to suit their needs; there is so much choice. Many of the rooms have showers and all have their own ensuite although mum prefers the bath with lots of bubbles! The rooms are cleaned daily. There is a hairdressers on site, a chiropodist visits on a regular basis and recently an optician came. The summer and Christmas parties are a treat and enjoyed by family and friends as well as the residents. Musicians entertain on a regular basis and if weather permits on outside performance is arranged. There are activities most afternoons and the playschool visits. The organiser is first class and even took 15 residents to Felixstowe for a lovely day out. Residents with dementia have plenty of space to walk and are secure in this environment.

My mother has been living at Woodfield Court for a couple of years now. This home has a genuine family feel to it. The staff really seem to care about the residents and provide personal care with consideration and dignity. I would have no hesitation in recommending this care home to anyone.

Overall Experience

I have nothing but praise for Chilton Court. My parents needed to move unexpectedly from their own home earlier in the year, and whilst this has been a difficult transition for them to come to terms with, Vicky and her staff have gone out of their way to make everything as comfortable, supportive and welcoming as possible. Vicky has also been super helpful to us too as we navigate this new 'normal'. The independent accommodation is wonderful - giving my parents their own space and independence, whilst having everything they could need or want on hand. Highly recommended.

My mother is currently in one of the assisted living accommodations. This gives her the freedom of her own independent home surroundings together with the safety net of having the staff call in several times a day to make sure that she is OK.

All the staff are kind, considerate and supportive and treat all the residents with respect. To my mother they are a second family.

My father was previously cared for here, and my mother now takes advantage of the fantastic independent but assisted living accommodation. All the freedom of her own home, but with support when required. The accommodation & more is clean, bright, and welcoming. The food is great. The staff are truly exceptional, kind, caring & supportive to residents/relatives. We are very lucky to have found Chilton Court.

I am a nurse myself and I would want to reside at Chilton Court. The varied activities and lovely food makes it a ***** star rating.

Mum arrived 28/02/25 and was greeted by friendly staff, which put Mum at ease. Nice extra touches in room, and it's always fine when you ring to speak to Mum or them. Over and above to make mum feel safe and happy. The carers wonderful, office staff wonderful.
Very friendly, homely feel.
Lots to do and encouragement to mix.

Made the move very easy for us as a family.

Having not experienced a care home environment, I can honestly say that Chiltin Court is as near to 'home from home' as my mum can be, with very friednly and experienced staff. Clean and fully equipped. Familiar faces in the staff and always available for a chat and advice. Always have time to spend with residents and relatives and are open to bringing in pets, games, photos and even singers!
