Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My son has lived at no.10 for nearly 6 years. It is the most lively home. All the staff are very well trained and always attend to his needs. My son likes to be on his own and interact on his own terms which he is encouraged to do by staff. He also goes on outings daily to the local shops or a walk.
He has also been supported to attend his sister's wedding by a member of staff which we thought was wonderful. His room is always clean and tidy and the home is always clean and tidy throughout. This is a small local company and I often see the owner's Nan in the house cooking lunch or just chatting to her service users which I personally think is brilliant. When us, as a family visit we are always made welcome and offered a cup if tea. It was the most difficult decision we ever made as a family to place our son in a residential home but it has been the best outcome. To watch my son grow as an adult to be able to make his own choices in life and grow in independence has been the best time in our lives he is very happy where he is. When he comes to visit home he can't wait to get back thank you all at 10 the crescent for your wonderful caring staff and management
