Care Homes Owned by Shropshire Council in Shropshire

I would like to take this opportunity to show huge appreciation to Four Rivers staff who look after my father, I never imagined my father in a care home and always thought that this was a last resort and never something I wanted for him, I was very wrong.

Since my father has been a resident at Four Rivers he's been looked after with care and attention and specific needs (he likes his food) and he's allowed to indulge that love of food but closely monitored so he has a good balance of nutritious food, he's also given every opportunity to maintain his independent nature as much as possible and never made to feel he's incapable, quite the opposite whereby he's encouraged to do what he can and assisted when not, again another good balance in his care. He's now safe in the perimeters of the home (not out wandering the streets) and takes his medication regularly (this was always a huge worry for us). He's also king of karaoke on entertainment days!
