Absolutely amazing, not only was my grandad supported with the change of moving into a care home, but us as a family were too. This is a big decision and is difficult for all involved. We were involved with his care planning, which enabled us to ensure he was cared for correctly. He has been so happy
here, he has made a great group of friends, we stand back and watch him before we make our presence known to him and we can see he is so comfortable here. Best decision we made for him, he has become unsociable whilst at home, he is now as sociable as he was before. Lovely staff, clean home and very welcoming.

My mum lives in Agnes and Arthur where she is settled and has a good relationship with the staff. They all identify to her needs with care. I once had a minor concern which I discussed with the manager. He dealt with it immediately, effectively and professionally. I was very happy with the result
and feel confident to be able to talk to him again should it be needed. All of the staff are friendly and approachable.

My decision to put my mum in a care home was a very difficult decision. However, the care my mum received at Florence House was caring, respectful, understanding and supportive. Her dignity was considered at all times. I was kept informed immediately should the need arise. There is a warmth that emits
from Florence House which is created by a team of dedicated staff whose paramount aim is the care of the residents at all times. My sincere thanks to them all.

From the moment we entered the care home the staff greeted us warmly and welcomed my mother in law into the home and showed her around and made her feel at ease . They listened to her needs and likes/dislikes and took all of this on board.
Staff go above and beyond for the residents . The manager,
care staff, nurses, events team were all very friendly , professional and extremely caring. We could leave my mother in law at the home and feel easy about doing this while we went on holiday . I can recommend this home to anyone and would use it again without a doubt. Thanks to all the staff for their kindness towards my mother in law .

I had an excellent show a round the home, when looking for somewhere for my husband to be happy and cared for. My husband came into the home on April 2nd 2025, after just four weeks I could see a big difference in him, happy settled and his appearance. The home has very high morale amongst all staff
members. Their own activities staff keeping activities and outings going each day is so good for every one in the home. Also good home cooked food. Thank you everyone.

I can't thank you enough for the loving care your staff are showing towards not only my mum but to us as a family. Nothing is too much trouble, even providing a shoulder to cry on when we are overwhelmed with mum's dementia. The staff's knowledge and understanding are second to none. Knowing that mum
is cared for to such a high standard takes away a lot of stress and guilt. A**** Florence House, and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

To whom it may concern, I was very anxious when the family and I decided that my wife needed a care home as I had cared for her for over 3 years, and realised that we could only do so much for her. After my daughters visited several homes, it was Florence House that we chose. From the start, just meeting
the staff lifted a huge weight off our shoulders. The greeting we received was absolutely marvellous, as you can see I have put X in all the boxes that itself tell the story. My opinion is that I have never been or visited a home until now, no amount of crosses in boxes is enough.

My relative has been living at Florence House for 17 months. He settled into living in a community. Although he and I were anxious to start with. He is well cared for and importantly has built up a rapport and trust with the whole care team. I know he is safe and has support 24/7. Florence House is
not much to look at from the outside, but the life inside is wonderful. Activities every day and care every minute.

My friend has been a resident of Florence House since June 2024. I must admit I had reservations about the care home, looking at reviews mostly were not positive. What a change, the staff are lovely, sensitive and caring, and her room is airy and spacious. The food is plentiful and served in a family
atmosphere. She is encouraged to join in all the activities and the Christmas activities were joyous.

My friend as been in the care of Florence House since July 2024 and I have nothing but admiration, dedication and support she is receiving. All the staff from the management, care staff, activities coordinator and all domestic staff provided 100% plus to each individual resident. On all of my visits
nothing is too much if I my friend require anything. I have attended some fairs and entertainment and the participation from the staff encouragement to all the residents was excellent. I enjoy all my visits and the staff make you feel very welcome. I would highly recommend Florence House to anyone who required a relative in care.

Such a welcoming place! From the first time, we contacted The Place and helped to settle my brother in, all the staff have been helpful and welcoming. needs them. Very pleased with all that is offered and the standard of care.
