My friend has been in Florence House for about 2 years. She is extremely well cared for 100%. All staff, from your managers, care staff, domestics and maintenance staff, provide a very good service. The activities officer provides a variety of activities, i.e., entertainment, baking, arts and crafts,
exercise, swimming, and an outing to the local pub for lunch. There are regular carers meetings, which is good to meet other families. The daily good menus are always on display, and the activities for that week is also on display. I find this very useful. The staff are very friendly and supportive to visitors.

Florence House, since day 1 I and my family cannot find any faults with regards all staff at this home, which is why I have given them 100 per cent on ratings.
When I say family, I mean my daughters, Susan and Debbie, are in complete agreement.

My dad initially went to Florence House for 2 weeks' respite care whilst I was away on holiday. When I collected him after my holiday, my dad asked if he could go back to Florence House, as he was made to feel so welcome and cared for brilliantly. So he's now a full-time resident and loves it here;
every member of the team at Florence House are so friendly, caring and helpful. I'm so happy that my dad chose Florence House, and I am a very happy and content daughter knowing he's being cared for so brilliantly. Thank you.

If your looking for a care home that shows compassion and understanding of your loved ones needs then Agnes and Arthur is the place for you. My lovely mother spent the last few years there and was treated with love and dignity. When you arrive the doors opened by one of the many carers or domestic staff
who greet you with a smile. The home itself is spotless clean and the owners have invested and improved all areas. My mum who suffers with dementia spent many happy hours there and the daily entertainment they provide lifts many residents. My mum s dementia slowly declined but the team made sure she was still involved taking time to paint her nails and read to her. This made such a difference to her mood swings which again was treated with great understanding. The home is visited by a hairdresser who also goes the extra mile. At Agnes and Arthur they all work as a team and i cannot thank them enough.

The staff team work very hard to make this a home for all the residents. Senior staff are permanent and take time to understand each resident, their needs and personality. The reassurance of the continuity of familiar, friendly faces has allowed my father to relax and enjoy his days over 2 and a half
years. The training of new staff and their absorption into the staff team is done in a structured, calm and professional atmosphere. I am glad my father lives in such a warm and welcoming place.

I would like to express my thanks to all staff at Florence House. All the staff go above and beyond to ensure the safety of all residents. My dad has been with Florence House for 2 and a half years, and I am really happy with the level of care he receives. I am well informed of current situations that
arise with his care and I am kept up to date with any medical changes. This home has a welcoming family atmosphere, under new management, who have managed to turn it into a lovely, safe and secure home, that I would recommend.

I have been extremely pleased with my experience so far of this care home. My husband has not been in a home before and is finding settling in difficult. However, the staff could not be more caring and understanding. The home is adequately furnished and clean. His room is kept very clean with all the
essentials. His clothing is laundered to a very high standard and beautifully ironed. The food is varied and well presented, with a choice of menus. There is a good choice of activities planned and well organised, and the staff will discuss the arrangements with the family. So, with well trained, helpful, and caring staff, I am pleased that, since my husband now needs to be a resident in a care home, he is in the care of Agnes and Arthur.

I feel mum is more at home here as it's a lot smaller and she can get to the toilets more easy. She walks all the way around and at the other care home she was always pushed around in her wheelchair so in a way she was never mobile, but now they have got mum walking everywhere and she feels more happy
and safer, especially at night, they come to her as soon as she gets out of bed, there at the other home she had to wait for someone to come and it could take a while sometimes.

So happy we found Florence House Mum has settled really well, better than we ever thought. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and there is always something going on from Halloween parties to 60's night. I highly recommend Florence House to anyone.

My mum lives in Agnes and Arthur where she is settled and has a good relationship with the staff. They all identify to her needs with care. I once had a minor concern which I discussed with the manager. He dealt with it immediately, effectively and professionally. I was very happy with the result
and feel confident to be able to talk to him again should it be needed. All of the staff are friendly and approachable.

My decision to put my mum in a care home was a very difficult decision. However, the care my mum received at Florence House was caring, respectful, understanding and supportive. Her dignity was considered at all times. I was kept informed immediately should the need arise. There is a warmth that emits
from Florence House which is created by a team of dedicated staff whose paramount aim is the care of the residents at all times. My sincere thanks to them all.
