My mother in law was very happy during her time at Agnes + Arthur.

When I come in the staff are really nice and pleasant. They know all the residents by name, even when they are new. Feel comfortable when I visit my brother in law.

I have been unable to visit my friend for the past 12 months but have followed the Florence House social media page to see how he is doing. Its been a pleasure to note a really positive change of direction in the activities which are now far more person centred and everyone appears to engage and enjoy the wide variety of activities on offer. The positive change was reinforced when I recently went to visit my friend at Florence House and noted changes with staff and surroundings. The atmosphere was calm and it was a joy to see everyone settled with lots of smiles from residents and staff.

Fantastic lovely, staff very friendly

On every visit all staff are very friendly and welcoming. If I have any questions the staff are always friendly to answer and put my mind at ease. My nan always look clean and tidy and well cared for. There are always lots of fun and exciting activities going on in the home which is a joy to see and the residents laughing and joining in. The home always smells really nice and always looks clean but also smells really nice too. The cleaners do a really good job of keeping her room clean and today her clothes smell amazing. The food always smells good and is a very good variety to choose from.

My mum is very well looked after and the staff are very caring and she is very happy - The staff always make you welcome on every visit and it really stands out that they really care for the residents. They are all very knowledgeable when you need to ask any questions concerning my mum's care. There are also many activities suited to everyone and the team are excellent. All the staff are fantastic. The home always looks and smells lovely and clean. The cooks prepare lovely meals.

My friend although she has demencia always appears to be happy and content, I think she is well looked after.

I spent a week in Florence House in Respite Care. Very pleased that my room (8) had ensuite bathroom-facilities. Due to my limited mobility staff kindly wheel chair moved me to and from the dining area I did not take part in any activities - hence no cross in that column * I made friends with a couple of long term residents which we all appreciated. Rather surprised by the number of dementia sufferers. Medication was dispensed securely & correctly Thanks!

Loving and caring staff who assist and help residents on a daily basis. Great atmosphere and warm welcome when mum became a resident. Staff all go above and beyond in helping.

A fantastic place, mum is very well looked after. The staff always go above and beyond to help and provide the relevant care for her. Mum is happy here and enjoys the activities and a good old chat with staff. Such a happy fun place.

Most importantly the staff really do care and they are very kind.

Dad has been living at Florence House since 2023. His lifelong hobbies and interests are actively supported. He goes to a local choir, and a local drama and arts group once a week. The care staff give him person centred care, and because the team is mainly permanent, long term, staff, they have become his family. The care team know Dad as an individual and encourage his participation in the varied activities offered by the dedicated activity coordinator. The senior staff are approachable and professional and available at any time.

I have been visiting my friend for a few years. She is happy to see me. The Staff are welcoming.

Since my mum arrived she seem very comfortable. She his eating well and seems to be well looked after. The food is really nice. The staff are always looking after my mum. Rooms are always very clean.

Very kind Staff seem to understand what is Required to look after the older generation and people with ill health.

Since mum has been resident here we have been impressed with how she has settled in the staff have all been excellent the activities they have keep them entertained well and she is really happy at the home the manager is really good and listens to every one the whole team at the home are very caring and I would recommend this home to anybody who needs a place to come here

My mother in law has settled in so well, She thinks as its her home now. Made loads of friends with other residents and the lovely staff. All the staff are helpful and friendly to all our family. We no most staff by name we have no issues or Concerns as far as my mother in law is Concerned.

My Aunt has been at the home for a few weeks, initially immobile, and has regained her mobility through the support of a fantastic team. She has settled well, and more relaxed since being at Agnes and Arthur. The staff are so kind and supportive, and have made my aunt feel happy and a part of the home. The facilities and rooms are lovely, plenty of space, and the decoration and extra touches in her room are very welcoming. She has really enjoyed the activities, bingo, having her hair done by the hairdresser and having her nails painted. Plenty to do, which is a huge reassurance for the family knowing she is in safe hands and well looked after. Would recommend for anyone looking for a a care home that truly views and cares for your loved one to an outstanding standard.
