As a grand daughter and daughter, choosing a care home for my grandmother was incredibly difficult, but I honestly couldn't have chosen better. The staff treat her like she is part of their own family. She is always laughing and full of joy when I visit.
Although she has dementia and does have some down moments, the team support her with such patience, kindness and understanding.

The new manager, Lindsay, has kept the same warm and welcoming atmosphere that has always made this home so special. She knows every resident and their families and always makes time for everyone. The new deputy is also lovely and fitting in really well. The management team work brilliantly together, and it truly shows in the care provided.

I am very happy with the level of care that my mother is receiving at Abbeygate Rest Home. The staff are always pleasant and are always willing to help my mother with all of her needs. The manager is excellent at running the rest home, she knows all of her residents and the names of relatives. If there are any problems the manager takes them on board and does all she can to resolve the issue. The staff are very good at their jobs, they are always friendly and have made my mother feel at home.
I have no hesitation in recommending this home to anyone who is looking for a caring, welcoming place to look after their loved ones.

A lovely care home in Abbeygate, Crowland.
Our Mum has been in the home now for the past 7 months. She has been very well looked after; all the carers and staff are very professional and caring, and nothing is too much trouble.
There is always a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere at the home. Our Mum has settled in well and is happy.

There are lots of activities for the residents to take part in: movie afternoon, crafts, music and the very popular weekly bingo.

When l went to look around Abbeygate rest home, l was greeted by the manager. The home is warm and the staff very friendly. l knew this was the place for my Dad. He has been there for a number of months and is really happy. The meals are very good and if there's anything different you would like they are only happy to provide it. The manager and all the staff are compassionate and caring, and you can see they all enjoy their jobs as it shows in the way they care for the residents.

Nothing is too much trouble. I'm pleased my dad's there and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Abbeygate rest home at Crowland.

I cannot recommend Abbeygate at Crowland highly enough. My mother is not always easy, but she is always treated with great kindness and respect by the manager and the whole team. The care is excellent and staff do everything they can to help and support her. The manager knows all the residents and relatives by name and is always aware of what is happening. If there is ever a problem, the manager always checks the situation and can usually resolve things quickly. The food is great and nothing ever seems to be too much trouble.
It's difficult sometimes to have a parent in a care home, but since my mother moved into Abbeygate, I have felt completely confident that she is well cared for and treated kindly. Other aspects of care such as medication and mobility are dealt with as part of the package and the home has recently even arranged a hearing test and service for her.

If you are looking for a care home, I would have no hesitation in recommending this home for anyone you love.
