The staff are what makes Red Rose care community really special. They know the residents personally, their likes and dislikes and personalities and are friendly and cheerful no matter how difficult the job must be. The nurses and carers looked after my Dad wonderfully in the last year of his life and he so appreciated the time they took with him. The home manager is knowledgeable and approachable and always takes time to explain things clearly to families. The home is clean and the food is varied and appetising. Knowing my Dad was safe and well cared for has been such a comfort over the last year, and I wouldn't hesitate to make the same choice again.

Red Rose Care is outstanding. It is such a weight off my mind and that of my sister to know how happy and well cared for my father is. He is consistently smiling and happy and nothing is too much trouble for the Staff, 10/10 does not come close to what this care home deserves, it really does go the extra mile!

The Red Rose staff were very caring towards Mum and when she did not want to eat asked what kind of things she liked and tried to provide that. Mum was kept beautifully clean, with hair washed and clothing was always clean and well laundered and put away. Staff tried to encourage her to socialise and attend activities even when she was reluctant. Management and all staff were very supportive towards us and very friendly and welcoming during some difficult times. We are very thankful for their care of Mum during her last few difficult months.

My mum has been a resident at Red Rose for 3 years now. She has been well cared for and all her needs have been met. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Patient care is paramount. Menu and food choices are ample. Mum has dementia and has been made as comfortable as possible and safe guarding her condition has been adhered to at all times.

We were visiting a friend who has recently become resident here. I was very impressed with the friendly yet professional staff we came into contact with. We took our friend out for lunch and the process was very easy. We were offered tea and biscuits, and when we returned were able to spend more time with our friend. The other residents looked happy and settled and the communal areas were clean, tidy and looked well cared for.

My first visit. What an exceptional facility. Bright, airy and scrupulously clean. A fantastic variery of guided activities for the residents. The staff were fantastic; so helpful. All help and assistance was rendered with a smile by staff who seem happy in their work and truly engaged in seeking the best outcomes for residents and visitors alike. Our friend who has never been in care before is completely at home in his new environment and I fully expect his short stay to become permanent in the near future.

They care so very much the environment is lively and the staff who organise the activities are so thoughtful and the ideas are excellent. Dad loves taking part. The only concern I have is not enough staff per the amount of workload and that I would like to see addressed.

I have visited many care homes. This was the best by far. There was a wonderful warmth between staff and residents. The staff were so professional, respectful and caring. They deserve every accolade. The home was clean and extremely pleasant.

I have my dad and father-in-law in Red Court at the moment. Their standard of care is exemplary. All staff are so caring, nothing is too much trouble for them. I have jokingly said that I would like to reserve a room for myself in the future.

I was very happy with the care received by the staff, they were very patient and kind to my father and made my family's life much easier during his time at Red Rose. They are angels.

Myself and my sister visit Mom daily. Mom has resided at the nursing home about 5 months and from the very start, she has been made to feel settled and safe. The staff go over and beyond for her, Mum sees some of the staff as her friends and has really bonded with some. The staff work together with me and my sister to make sure Mum is safe, happy and helped with anything she needs. We get to feel that Mum is well looked after.

However, to be fair this issues was eventually addressed and hopefully will not be repeated in the future.

My MIL was entering Red Rose Care Home on an Emergency 2 week respite, with potential for permanent home.

We where greeted by the Manager Mirela, Deputy Manager Cami, and Nurse in Charge of the part of the home Glenis was staying. This was a very different experience to what we had received recently.

All the staff on the corridor was saying hello, Glenis asked for a cup of tea and by the time we got down to the room tea and biscuits where not far behind.

In the room there was a welcome basket, the had a massive blanket on top of the duvet turned into a bow, it looked stunning, the room is of a extremely generous size facing one of the gardens which Glenis will love, she went off with her Friend Kerri who joined me on the journey to Red Rose and they where sat talking to staff and Glenis was sat at a table with another cuppa waiting for lunch, she was so relaxed and enjoying the company and holding conversation with other people. Don't always go by cqc ratings

Amazing staff who always go above and beyond to provide a happy, caring home for the residents. The activities they provide are interesting and varied, and the food is excellent. The home is always clean and tidy, and the furnishings are comfortable and well-maintained. I would definitely recommend Red Roofs when looking for excellent care in Newark.

Today's is my mums 90th birthday and staff have gone above and beyond to make her birthday special the love and warmth they show to the residents at red roofs is heartwarming. It feels like home from home the staff should be so proud of the amazing job they do .

It was not an easy decision to move my husband to a care home just over a year ago but from the start I have been happy with Red Court. I feel he's being cared for by a great team, all very thoughtful and kind. I like that the staff all know who I am and who I have come to visit, they are all very friendly. It pleases me that I get phone calls to keep me up to date with any problems like recently they let me know that a treatment for his eyes had been arranged with the doctor. The activities lady works hard to entertain the residents. The food is good and he eats well. The home is kept very clean by a cheerful, hardworking team of cleaning ladies who all know him. Overall I am very pleased with the care and attention my husband receives, it has set my mind at rest.

Red Roofs continues to deliver and maintain outstanding care for its residents, while embracing its family and friends. Every time I visit this community, the high standards are there for all to be seen. I continue to be impressed and grateful that my husband is happy and well cared for.

The care given to the residents of Red Roofs is second to none. This doesn't seem like a care home but more like a large family. I didn't realise so many activities could take place with everyone including visitors encouraged to take part. The residents actually seem to enjoy themselves with so much to do on a daily basis. It's really good to see that residents are not sat in front of a TV all day which would be the easy option. Red Roofs certainly do not choose the easy option.

Whilst care is a priority some functional aspects require attention- internet is poor and we are still waiting for it to be fixed. This is a shame, as I can't video call my mum which she misses as well as her grandchildren
