Sadly after being a resident in Buddleia House for nearly 4 years my Aunt passed away in August 2025. During the 4 year period she considered Buddleia to be her "home". All through her residency she received excellent care. During her short illness before passing the staff went above and beyond in their
care towards her. I will not forget that and I thank them for it.

We have always been so happy with the excellent care our mum receives.
The staff knowing mum & us knowing the staff is so important.

I would like to submit a review of Buddleia House to acknowledge the excellent care being given to our Mother, she is an amputee who's wheelchair bound, she has also been diagnosed with vascular demetia. All her needs are met by staff, we as a family are particulary pleased with the activities and entertainment
provided by the home. My Mother is a person who has struggled with depression all of her life, as you can imagine its been harder for her in her present circumstances, the love and care she recieves has been outstanding.
Reply from Alisha Hussain, Manager at Buddleia House Care HomeHi Robert,
Thank you so much for taking time out to review the home.
We are so happy to hear mum has settled in really well at Buddleia House.
It is always great to see mum interacting with other residents and staff.

I visit my friend (monthly). My friend has been here now nearly 2 years. She was very poorly when she first arrived, but is now thriving and absolutely loves it here!
I'm always impressed by the many varied activities on offer at Hazelgrove, and I love to see the photos on social media of my friend
taking part and having fun.

Sadly our experience of Hazelgrove was far from a 10*rating. The 2 stars I have given are for the few genuinely lovely carers. My husband required bariatric care but although advertised as available it was in fact sadly lacking. The nursing care particularly was woefully inadequate in my opinion. We
had serious misgivings about a number of health and safety aspects which have been brought to the attention of the management who have been dismissive of our concerns. The Manager (who has now left) was extremely rude, and disrespectful to myself and family members. After my husband passed away we received no condolences from the Manager or Milford Care Group for 7 weeks and only then because they had to acknowledge my complaint, which I find shockingly unprofessional.
Reply from Pierre Falleth, Director & Business Manager at Hazelgrove Care HomeThank you for taking the time to share your views. While we're sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations, the description of our care home does not reflect what we see day to day at Hazelgrove or the feedback we receive from the vast majority of families. We take every concern seriously. All concerns are thoroughly investigated, as were yours, and responded to in full. Where an investigation finds no evidence to support a concern, this is not a sign of being "dismissive" but of our commitment to responding based on the facts. We expect and promote respectful communication at all times, and our own records and other feedback do not indicate behaviour of the kind described. We remain proud of our team and their dedication to providing safe, compassionate care.We are grateful for people taking the time to give feedback, but unfortunately we do not recognise the description here of our care home or our excellent management team.

My mother in law is so happy with the care. She has made good friends. Management are always there to assist and help. All staff are available when needed. She gained weight and is able to walk again. She doesn't spend time in her bedroom because she likes to talk to everyone. Overall, excellent care!
