Dad stayed at Hazelgrove for a period of 2 weeks post a hospital admission. Nigel and his team took great care of dad and were very attentive from the outset. I visited dad most days and saw first hand how hard the team work to ensure the residents are kept safe and well. There was also plenty of laughter and fun, with staff going the extra mile to engage with the residents. Thankyou from dad and I especially for his magnificent Birthday Cake, puddings galore and 'Knickerbocker Glories'!

Without Hazelgrove, I don't think my husband would be with me today. I recommend Hazelgrove 100% plus

Nigel (manager) had reassured us all from the very first appointment, when he showed us around this beautiful home.

Dad moved into Hazelgrove 2 weeks ago. All the staff were so reassuring. Dad has settled so well. The staff are super friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. We chose Hazelgrove for the lovely, homely feel, and wanted somewhere that dad could engage in activities, and he definitely is. The relief to know he is settled and looked after so well is immense. Nigel, admin staff, nurses, carers, kitchen staff and activities leader - Thank you, you are amazing.

Five stars for Hazelgrove Care Home. I've visited my mum here for over a year and the staff are consistently friendly, happy in their work, and treat residents like family. Warm atmosphere, great communication, and genuine care - we're so grateful to you all for all your hard work.

.After things escalated at home, we made the decision to put my mother-in-law in for two weeks' emergency respite to give everybody time away from each other. We knew she would be safe, but even on the first day, we could see her anxiety was gone and she was returning to her happy self. The staff welcomed her back like a friend. The daily activities kept her engaged and happy. Her overall mood improved, and we saw none of the previous anxiety she was showing at home. We were always kept updated. I am so grateful for the support, encouragement and kindness that was shown to her by all staff members

The care and support my mum received at Hazelgrove was truly exceptional. The entire team consistently went above and beyond to support both her and our family, taking the time to ensure she settled in comfortably and helping us navigate the transition.

I would like to extend a special thank you to April, Chris, Antonio, Grace, and Sophia for their unwavering presence and dedication. Additionally, the activities and events organised by Vicky brought a wonderful sense of joy to the residents' daily lives, and Nigel was always a welcoming and helpful presence upon our arrival.

We are deeply grateful to everyone at Hazelgrove for the genuine love and compassion shown to our mother. You will all be greatly missed.

My best friend is in buddleia house care home It is a lovely place in there it's spotless clean the oweners and the staff go above and behond to look after my friend and all the other residents they are always bussy doing activittie with them and the food always looks delicious overall I will give then 10 out of 10.

My mum has been a resident at Buddleia House for over 3 years. She suffers from severe dementia. We are very happy with the levels of care offered. The staff are outstanding and very caring and we feel my mum is very well looked after. The activities that the care home put on are of special note. There is always something going off to entertain residents and the place is regularly decorated celebrating different nations and cultures and annual events like halloween etc. The amount of effort that goes in to these things is excellent and particularly Christmas day when the decorations and table settings are exceptional.

I have been visiting my friend since she come to reside at Hazelgrove on November 2025. The atmosphere is always so pleasant and happy. The care home is clean, loads of brand new facilities and feels so homey. You are greeted by staff and management with genuine friendliness and professionalism.

I cannot speak highly enough about Buddleia care home All the cares really do care lots of entertainment and activities to do . Food looks really good and the cakes there make too .this is a fantastic place for my mum . thank you

First class establishment !! My father has been in there just over 2 years. I can not fault the care he has received. I honestly believe that it is more then a job for the people who work there, and they enjoy what they are doing - the staff are an absolute credit to this care home. When a loved one goes into care - all you want for them is to be safe , looked after etc and this home does that in abundance. I can not reccomemd it enough!.

When we first came around to look at Hazelgrove we knew straight away that we want to live there it is a lovely home and everyone of the staff is very friendly and caring towards mum and ourselves it is very clean and well kept mum enjoys join in with the activities and having her hair done.

I will always be grateful for the care given to my Dad throughout his stay.

It has been such a relief to find this lovely place. The management and staff have been kind, accommodating and considerate from day 1. Knowing mum is safe and cared for 24/7 is so reassuring. Obviously mum would love to return home but Hazelgrove is the next best thing until then.

My wife has been a resident for almost 3 months now and I am constantly impressed and reassured by the friendliness and efficiency of the manager and staff. Everyone addresses my wife by her christian name, and interacts with her professionally, in a way that respects her dignity throughout times which sometimes must be difficult for them, given the nature of dementia. The facilities and furniture look virtually new, clean and hygeinic. I'm really happy with the way my wife is being cared for.

Hazelgrove is always very friendly and welcoming. The staff are very caring & always happy. So it's a lovely atmosphere. I visit my mum at least twice a week, and she always seems happy & looks well looked after.
