Sadly after being a resident in Buddleia House for nearly 4 years my Aunt passed away in August 2025. During the 4 year period she considered Buddleia to be her "home". All through her residency she received excellent care. During her short illness before passing the staff went above and beyond in their
care towards her. I will not forget that and I thank them for it.

As my mothers nominated next of kin I have a great working relationship with both staff and management, Mam is disabled and has dementia and all her needs are taken care of.
Lines of communication are excelant which is very important for me and my brother and although it's not easy we feel like we

I would like to submit a review of Buddleia House to acknowledge the excellent care being given to our Mother, she is an amputee who's wheelchair bound, she has also been diagnosed with vascular demetia. All her needs are met by staff, we as a family are particulary pleased with the activities and entertainment
provided by the home. My Mother is a person who has struggled with depression all of her life, as you can imagine its been harder for her in her present circumstances, the love and care she recieves has been outstanding.

My father has been in this care home for just over twelve months. All I can say is that I am so happy he is here. He is treated so well. My mother has now been a resident for just over a year. The staff helped Mum settle very quickly - so much so that at the end of a two-week respite stay, Mum decided she wanted to stay here permanently. In this year, the events that I have seen take place are brilliant, the way that everyone joins in
and takes part is wonderful to see. In terms of care, I have no issues at all, it's obvious that my mum's needs are met daily, the staff will go above and beyond.

Staff are excellent - nothing is too much trouble for them. Care of Mum is exemplary.

My mum has received the excellent care of Buddleia House Care Home for the last three and a half years. The stimulation, care and love she has experienced from every member of staff is outstanding. We are all 'family'.
The very rare occasion that we needed to raise an issue, it has been dealt with
immediately, successfully and professionally.
Mum recently had a fall and fractured her hip. She had a comparatively short stay in hospital following a replacement. Buddleia, as always, have welcomed her back, Mum was clearly happy to be there.

It is always a pleasure to visit Mum at Buddleia House Care Home as the whole experience is made very homely and comforting by all the staff and surroundings. At Mum's advanced stage of dementia, it can be challenging to remain upbeat when visiting but staff always ensure they are on hand to assist

My brother has been a resident at Buddleia House Care Home for just over two years now. I could not ask for a nicer place for him to call home. The management and care team are outstanding in every way. They really look after their residents, all of their well-being and needs, in a very professional
and genuinely caring manner. Families of residents are always made to feel most welcome whenever they visit - included is a smile and cup of tea, always! I rate the home ten out of ten for cleanliness, the care provided. This is truly a family home from home. Thank you Buddleia!

I started as a care assistant and found myself as a Home Manager at 24 years old and haven't looked back since. I adore empowering people - residents and staff alike.


I am delighted to have joined Milford Care, as I have wanted to be part of Milford Care for some time now; I visited Buddleia House on its open day back in 2019 and I adore the home.’
