My mother has now been a resident for just over a year. The staff helped Mum settle very quickly - so much so that at the end of a two-week respite stay, Mum decided she wanted to stay here permanently. In this year, the events that I have seen take place are brilliant, the way that everyone joins in and takes part is wonderful to see. In terms of care, I have no issues at all, it's obvious that my mum's needs are met daily, the staff will go above and beyond.

My mum has received the excellent care of Buddleia House Care Home for the last three and a half years. The stimulation, care and love she has experienced from every member of staff is outstanding. We are all 'family'.

My mum has received the excellent care of Buddleia House Care Home for the last three and a half years. The stimulation, care and love she has experienced from every member of staff is outstanding. We are all 'family'. The very rare occasion that we needed to raise an issue, it has been dealt with immediately, successfully and professionally.
Mum recently had a fall and fractured her hip. She had a comparatively short stay in hospital following a replacement. Buddleia, as always, have welcomed her back, Mum was clearly happy to be there.

Firstly and most importantly, all the staff at Buddleia House Care Home look after my dad really well, they look after all his needs while also making him feel that they are his friends and are always kind, look after his dignity and take time to chat to him and joke with him.

Firstly and most importantly, all the staff at Buddleia House Care Home look after my dad really well, they look after all his needs while also making him feel that they are his friends and are always kind, look after his dignity and take time to chat to him and joke with him. On top of that, I and my brother are always made to feel welcome and can chat to the staff about any concerns or coordinate regarding his care whenever we pop in to see him. They lay on regular entertainments and special teas and lunches and we are always welcome to go to these with him. And the house is regularly decorated for whatever festival is relevant such as Easter and Christmas. They also always contact me with any issues that occur so that I am fully in the loop with how things are for Dad between my visits.
They are a marvellous team and could not give better care to Dad and consideration to Dad's family.

Whenever I visit Mum, it is immediately apparent that I am entering a well-run and caring environment. A lot of effort is made by the staff to keep the home looking bright and festive. We always seem to be celebrating something. Despite Mum's quite advanced and sometimes challenging dementia, the care staff work hard to support her. If I can voice a room for improvement, it would be to ensure that the small, personal details be addressed, such as ensuring Mum has plenty of warm clothing on (as she does seem to feel the cold) and making sure that she is wearing her spectacles.
Overall though, I think that we have been fortunate to find such a good place for Mum at this stage of her life and it is heartwarming to receive smiling faces and a warm greeting from the staff members whenever I visit Mum.

I can't tell you how much I love this care home. I was super nervous when I heard the home would be getting a new manager last year. Turns out she is the best thing since sliced bread. She is caring, thoughtful, empathetic, approachable and goes out of her way to try and make my dad's quality of life the best it can be.
Every single staff member is fantastic and goes above and beyond to care for my dad. I could not ask for anything more. I am so glad I found Buddleia House Care Home. Thanks to all of you for everything you do.

Every one of the staff are a credit to Buddliea House, respectful, caring, kind with always a smile, and always entertaining them. I have visited Buddleia House Care Home on numerous occasions, but more recently for their 'Virtual Cruise' events, which have been absolutely amazing. From the moment you walk through the door the welcome atmosphere is second to none. It is clear the residents are extremely well cared for and supported, living their lives to the fullest. The staff team are kind, caring, and experienced in their jobs, treating the residents with dignity and respect, almost like a member of their own family.
The home manager is pivotal to the success of Buddleia House. She is exceptional. A very dedicated and highly skilled manager, putting her heart and soul into all matters concerning the home.

I am delighted to have joined Milford Care, as I have wanted to be part of Milford Care for some time now; I visited Buddleia House on its open day back in 2019 and I adore the home.’
