A very clean, well-organised place with kind and capable carers. My brother and I are very impressed by the standard of care and attention to detail, which makes such a difference in a situation that is difficult for any family to go through.

Such a lovely feeling in Highgrove House, I only have experience from downstairs but almost always a happy atmosphere, if I have any concerns, they are always received in a positive manner. Thank you to the management and staff for their commitment to their residents.

Thank you to Highgrove House for a fabulous celebration of mum's 100th birthday. The day was filled with so much joy, love and care, and I could not have wished for a better tribute. All of the Highgrove staff made a huge effort to make her day special, so a heart felt thank you to all of you. Mum had such a wonderful time, and thoroughly enjoyed the moment.

My mother was a resident until passing in late December 2024. The level of care she received whilst a resident was more than we could have wished for. She was happy there and we cannot thank all the staff at highgrove enough.

Overall the care home is very competent at looking after my Mum who has dementia. The carers are very therapeutic in the way they care not just for my Mum but the other residents in the home. The manager and her staff are always approachable and do their best to accommodate all of my mums and my families needs. My Dad and brother are able to go in at meal times to assist my Mum. I know this has helped them to cope with the transition of my Mum into the home and this has helped them to cope especially my Dad who is 86 and wanted very much to keep her at home. I feel better as her daughter also know all her health and hygiene needs are being met and how she has settled into the home speaks volumes about the care home. It may not be the poshest of homes however its not about looks its about all the other important points I have made. Thanks to every member of staff on behalf of myself and my family for looking after my mum

Our Mum was in Highgrove House for 18 months until she passed away and we cannot thank all the staff enough for the help given to her. All the staff are kind and caring and always found the time to talk and answer any questions. Mum soon settled in and said many times how well she was being looked after. Thank you to all staff.

This is a fantastic place both my mum and dad have been in here 5-star care, and 5-star food. Ok it is a little dated but I would rather have the above than a beautiful building and neglect which both my wife's father and nana encountered.

My wife has been at Highgrove House for four months. She now appears to be settling in and seems content. She has received excellent care. I have been well informed of incidents that have occurred. The staff are understanding and caring. All staff are excellent. Noted that the home is warm and kept very clean. Personally, she is well cared for, with changes of clothing and bedding at least once a day. Having stayed for Christmas lunch, I can say that the food is excellent.

This appears to be a very caring home. The "patients" look very comfortable. There are lots of social amenities to ensure mental health is not threatened.
The staff made me very welcome and behave very sensitively and professionally.

I am so happy my cousin is in your care.

My sister and I have been very pleased with the care our mother receives at Highgrove House. She is always clean, dressed in clothes that we know are hers and I observe how the staff ensure that she receives regular drinks. I have also seen some of the activities that are provided for the residents. The staff interacted with us regarding our mother's care.

My mother has lived in Highgrove House for the past two years and for the most part, appeared happy and well. However, over the past few months, a number of serious health and safety issues have left me no alternative but to place her in another care home.

Mum has been at this home for nine years until just recently, she died peacefully at the end of October. I am her only child and Mum was a widow, and I live in Australia. The home has been excellent in providing care for Mum. The communication between the home and ourselves has been wonderful. The care the staff have provided for Mum and us has been outstanding! We are going to miss Mum and everyone at Highgrove House.

My mum and dad moved in around December 2020 - the manager and the staff go above and beyond 'EVERY' time. Yes, the home is not set in the countryside but I would choose the quality of the care home time and time again over a nice view! Staff are 5 Stars.
