I am really happy my husband is living at Bluebell Court. The staff are really attentive and look after him really well. Myself and my husband are Pakistani, they are able to meet our cultural and religious needs, which I am really happy about. My Husband is really happy here and we are happy for him. Myself and children are able to visit anytime. Where my husband was staying previously, he was not comfortable and that left me to worry. However, since he has been living here, his wellbeing has improved and he is really comfortable. All the staff and management are very kind, and help to look after him.

I have been here at The Willows for 11 days and can only compare it to a 5* hotel.
Everyone has gone out of their way to make me feel welcome and I promise to learn everyone's names. My health and mental health were at rock bottom when I arrived but day by day I can feel my mood lifting, this is down to the generosity of the carers and management. I don't think it could get any better, my family are delighted with my improvement,
Watch this space for a further update.

Love is in the air everywhere I look around.

All of the staff were so lovely looking after mum, they took care of her with dignity and respect during her stay at Bluebell Court. She was struggling with advanced dementia but they looked after her really well. They were also very kind to my dad who visited every day and looked after him too when he was visiting. Thank you to all the team, we really appreciate all you did for mum.

Mum is very settled here and has made new friends. Mum has had her room decorated to her own taste and has personalised it with her own belongings. All the staff are lovely, friendly and always approachable. They are very caring and any issues are dealt with straight away. The Management are a great team who work hard to support residents, family and staff. The home is very clean and welcoming. There are regular activities during the week and other activities and special events on through out the year. Mum particularly likes it when any singers come in and it's nice to see her singing along. There is a lovely garden to sit in when the weather is nice.

My Dad has been a resident at Bluebell Court since March 2026 during this time he has received one to one care due to his diagnosis of FTD and his complex needs, he is very well cared for and the staff are amazing I go every day I am always greeted with a smile I am so greatful that my Dad is cared for so well as I felt so guilty that I could no longer manage his needs in his own home it's such a relief to know he is being so well looked after and he has a team that really do genuinely care about him and me, thank you x

Review of Castle Grange from Michelle J (Granddaughter of Resident) published on 12 May 2026 Submitted via Website

My nan has been staying at Castle Grange for the past 6 weeks. She has dementia and other health issues. This was a massive change for her as she's very much stuck in her ways and doesn't understand the level of care she actually needs. The carers and nurses have been great with my nan, very attentive, friendly and always encouraging her to join in with activities. My nan is now settling in well, smiling and making friends with the residents. The care home is always immaculate and the staff are quick to attend to her if she's ill and get the right help. I have full trust in Castle Grange that they meet my nans needs well.

Oakbank staff were so lovely and friendly. They looked after my mother for 6 weeks after my brother had an operation. It was only the second time my mother had to stay in a nursing home and she was upset and confused (dementia) she soon settled in and made friends, she loved the activities and felt safe, thanks to the amazing staff. The meals and snacks are tasty. The home also arranged doctor's appointments for an ongoing medical condition and kept us informed. Highly recommend.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care my mum received during her 4-week stay From the very beginning, the staff were incredibly kind attentive and professional making what could have been a difficult time feel reassuring and Supportive for both my mum and our family
Every member of the team treated her with genuine compassion dignity and respect They took the time to get to know her as a person. not just a resident, which made a huge difference to her comfort and wellbeing Communication was excellent throughout - we were always kept informed and felt confident she was in safe hands
The environment was warm clean and welcoming. and it was clear that the staff take great pride in maintaining high standards of care. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their patience and kindness never went unnoticed

Thank you all for the exceptional care and Support you provided It truly means a lot to our family.

Always room for improvements.
Hearing aids never seem to be fitted and believe would help with Mum's hearing.
Mum is cared for good and is always clean.

Staff are always friendly, smiling and helpful.

Review of Bluebell Court Care Home from Jayne A (Daughter of Resident) published on 12 March 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
As a family we received excellent communication throughout Dad's time at the home, I was the nearest relative and was constantly kept updated. all the staff are very approachable and friendly, ensuring all works well as a team. Jenny especially- the administrator is a great asset to the business, she can tell you exactly what each resident is doing and how they've been which is very comforting to know especially at such a difficult time.

Unfortunately Dad's time was limited with Bluebell court but they were very accommodating and showed great care, empathy and most of all a lot of patience.

Thank you

Review of Bluebell Court Care Home from Helen J (Daughter of Resident) published on 12 March 2026 Submitted via Website

My Dad has been a resident in Blue bell court since December 2026 and during this time has been very well cared for.
The staff are always welcoming on arrival and take time out to speak to you when you visit and they also take the time to call you and update you on how your relative is doing.
My Dads needs can be very challenging however I am reassured by the professional and considerate care that he is given, the staff are always there to help him every minute of the day and night.
We as a family were very upset when we could not provide the level of care my dad needed at home and were very nervous in the beginning and extremely upset.
Now we are very grateful that we can visit and enjoy the time with him at his best and know that when we go he is safe and being well looked after.

Thank you for everything you all do for my Dad.
