Castle Grange

Excellant care home, all staff are so lovely, go the extra mile and nothing is ever too much. Activities are really great, great variety, always keep residents entertained. Manager is so lovely, very friendly and approachable. Carers and staff (nurses, cleaners, cooks, chef, receptionist all work so very hard in my opinion, making relatives very welcome & Buddy :)

My mother has been in Castle Grange for nearly 3 years now. She cannot walk and is mostly cared for in bed. I could not wish for a better care home. The staff are all so friendly and caring - my mother has a lot of health problems - they make sure that she has immediate attention as soon as any problem arises. The home is spotlessly clean and the food is excellent as is the personal care that my mother receives. The staff really very obviously care about the residents and make time to chat to them all even when they are busy. They also work hard to provide stimulating activities for the residents - my mother (who loved animals) was even visited by a horse. Thank you so much Castle Grange staff!

I am more than happy for my husband to be at Castle Grange Care Home. The staff our so kind & caring nothing is too much for them, the residents our looked after, wonderful, Castle Grangeis lovely & clean, I am more than pleased also thank full that Patrick is being looked after by the wonderful staff at Castle Grange, I am more than happy & thank God for the wonder care, may God bless them all.

In my words all the staff are so nice, and interact with residents/chatting/engaging activities with them.

Management and staff make you very welcome and courtesy when you visit, visiting hours are excellant.

When I visit my mum in the home I am always welcomed warmly by staff. The home is spotless and residents well cared for and happy. There are lots of activities which keep the residents active, and they love it. The staff are wonderful, and I couldn't wish for a better place for my mum to be. She is happy, safe + well cared for by wonderful staff and nurses.

Although my friend has only resided in the Care Home for a short time he has already found the staff to be caring, friendly and helpful. The Care Home itself is clean and welcoming and has high standards. My friend is also enjoying the food. All in all, it is a safe, caring and positive environment and he is happy. A big thank you also to the staff for making his birthday a special day.

My mum has been in your care home for 6 weeks at first she was very quiet and not joining in very much, now she seems really happy and is enjoying herself. The staff are lovely and caring. The activities you have every day are really doing her good. The photos you take my mum didn't look very happy on them at first, now she's smiling all the time. My nan has been staying at Castle Grange for the past 6 weeks. She has dementia and other health issues. This was a massive change for her as she's very much stuck in her ways and doesn't understand the level of care she actually needs. The carers and nurses have been great with my nan, very attentive, friendly and always encouraging her to join in with activities. My nan is now settling in well, smiling and making friends with the residents. The care home is always immaculate and the staff are quick to attend to her if she's ill and get the right help. I have full trust in Castle Grange that they meet my nans needs well.

They regularly checked-in on him (he wasn't left alone like you hear about in other care homes) and they constantly offered our family tea and biscuits to help us through a difficult time. They also provided advice and support whilst giving my father respect and dignity as he passed away. I'll never forget what they did for our family - it truly was outstanding. Thank you x

The rooms and services have been lovely and the staff have included him in all activities which he has enjoyed. The food options could be improved but they are nutritious and healthy. Overall, the experience has been good and helpful.

My sister has been at Castle Grange since the beginning of September 2025. She looks so much better now, happier and more relaxed than she was before her admittance. All of my interactions with the staff have been very positive. I live abroad and can't visit as often as I'd like, but after my last visit, I left feeling reassured that she is being well cared for and treated with respect.

Cannot fault the care that all staff give looking after our Dad. Dad is happy and settled and it gives us piece of mind that Dad is being loved just as much as he his by us x castle grange is clean, friendly and welcoming. The entertainment is exceptional and keeps Dad happy.

Castle Grange Care Home lives up to its name in every respect. It provides excellent care for both resident and visitor; and comes to be regarded almost as a home from home. There is a warm welcome on arrival and appropriate attention during the stay along with unfailing courtesy. The staff go over and above their expected level of duty to bring help when requested. Very occasionally, there might have been a difference of opinion between the resident and a carer, but usually any were resolved to the satisfaction of both. The staff seem to work well together seeking to bring the best possible care to the resident and they work hard at getting to know those whose home Castle Grange is. One noticeable feature of the home is the dependability of the timing of various aspects of care - administering of medicines, the prompt return of laundered items, meal times or cleaning sessions. While activities for bed-bound residents are limited, the television in the room is a good asset, and the staff do their best to call in on those unable to participate. Thanks are due to Castle Grange for all its care.

The first class sets my mind at rest with wonderful staff, never in her life has she been so relaxed. My whole family is made up of the care that Castle Grange is providing hope I get to live in a castle one day.
