A fabulous care home who have the health and happiness of their residents at the core. The care they have shown my dad has been amazing and we are very grateful as a family to have such wonderful staff to care for him who go above and beyond.

Thank you.

Since our mother came into the home in January following a fall and hip surgery, she has been cared for to a very high standard.

The staff are very caring. The home made mum's 100th birthday celebration a lovely event.

From the moment we viewed Castle Grange we knew it was the place for our loved one. It has been consistent in care for our loved one as well as us a family. Anything we asked about was dealt with quickly and efficiently. The love, care, sensitivity that we have received has been second to none, in this, I am including All Staff. The night we arrived the staff went shopping for special diet food which was enjoyed very much by our loved one. There isn't a single point that I could feed back negatively.

My father has been in the care of the staff at Castle Grange since September 2018. The home is always clean and welcoming when I go to visit no matter what time of day. The staff are always on hand if I need to speak to them. My father has settled quite well, although it's been a big change for him, the staff are good at putting him at ease. My father has diabetes, a condition they have under control now so my father looks really well. I would definitely recommend this care home.

My mum has been a resident for about 18 months. She is treated with the utmost respect and care by all the staff. From the management, office staff, carers, cooks and cleaners all take time with my mum which perks her up no end. I would highly recommend Castle Grange to other families wanting a safe, caring location.

I have always felt welcome at Castle Grange. The atmosphere is bright and cheerful and staff seem to be always smiling and happy and their uniforms beautifully laundered.

My sister had a severe stroke and for the last two years has been paralysed and unable to speak. In spite of this, the cleaners and carers (and nurses) have managed to work up a great support with her. She seems to be happy there.

I couldn't wish for nicer people to take care of my mum and her needs.
The hard work and honest caring nature of all at Castle Grange deserves far more praise than I can say here.

Thank you so much to all involved.

My sister has been a resident since May and I would have completed form earlier. I cannot fault the home in any way and I am delighted with the care provided. The home is spotless regardless of time visits occur. Initially, I took responsibility for my sister's clothes and bedding (washing/ironing) but have since accepted the offer for the home to provide this service. Staff are caring, proficient and empathic, always ready to provide care when needed. Manager notifies me when medical care needed, always easy to talk to as are medical staff. Excellent!!

I have lived here for the past six years. I feel safe here and my room is lovely. It is always kept clean and tidy. The staff and management are all very good. There are good activities and singers come to the parties. The outside of the home is well looked after. The food is good and we have a choice of menus.

Overall Experience

Mum has been a resident for nearly 8 months and I have found all the staff friendly, hardworking and most of all approachable. There have been difficult times with Mum settling in because she has lost her independence and mobility and is finding that hard to accept, but the staff and management/nurses have always been there to support not only Mum but myself too. I have been to several care homes over the past 2 years and I can honestly say that this home is run very well. Any problems are sorted promptly and management are always there to speak to, I never have to make an appointment, their door is always open. The home is spotlessly clean and odourless and all the staff have an extremely hard job to do but always do it with a smile. The food is good considering the residents all have different needs, it is always hot, tasty and easy to eat. This is one of the better homes I have visited and I know that my mum is very well looked after and her needs are met.
