Mum is very well looked after and all of the carers know mum and her mannerisms and treat her with dignity and respect. She is safe, well looked after. Every time i have questions or need support in supporting my mum they are very good and respectful. Mum loves the food!
Reply from Beeches Care Home, Management Team at Beeches Care HomeThank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience.
We are delighted to hear that your mum feels safe, well cared for, and treated with the dignity and respect she deserves. Our team works hard to build meaningful relationships with each resident, getting to know their individual personalities, preferences, and routines, so it is wonderful to know this is reflected in your mum's care.
We are also pleased that you have felt supported whenever you have needed advice or reassurance. Working closely with families is incredibly important to us, and we are always here to help.
And we are especially happy to hear that your mum loves the food!
Thank you again for your trust and support. Your feedback means a great deal to the entire team.

My Dad has been a resident for over a year now and I could not be happier with the level of care he receives. He is treated with warmth and respect by all of the staff and his individual needs and quirks are closely monitored, catered for and even celebrated. The staff are very good at communicating
with me, and extremely approachable. Despite being a dementia resident, Dad had has had quite a few medical issues which have been spotted and dealt with quickly and efficiently. He thoroughly enjoys the food and the entertainment and activities on offer and, as quite a shy and private person, he was given the time and space to come out of his shell on his own terms, which meant a lot to me and gave him the confidence to now partake happily. I am extremely thankful that he is so happy here, and forever grateful to the kind and capable staff.
Reply from Senior Team, Management Team at Beeches Care HomeThank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and heartfelt review.
We are truly delighted to hear that your father has settled so happily into life with us and that both he and your family feel supported by our team. Providing person-centred care that respects each resident's individuality is at the heart of everything we do, so it means a great deal to know that your father's unique personality, preferences and needs are recognised and celebrated.
Your kind words about our staff, communication, and responsiveness to your father's health needs are greatly appreciated and will be shared with the entire team. It is especially rewarding to hear that he has gained the confidence to participate in activities and enjoy the social aspects of our community at his own pace.
Thank you for placing your trust in us and for your generous recognition of our team's dedication. It is a privilege to care for your father, and we are grateful to have him as part of our community.

My dad, has been at the beeches for just over 2weeks. He has settled in really well, much better than expected. Feedback from staff has been great, keeping us informed. Staff seem more than happy to answer any questions we have.
The home appears to be well organised and as a family we are getting to
know more staff and have a better understanding of how things work. Hopefully my dad will become more familiar and more settled as time goes on.
Reply from Senior Team, Management Team at Beeches Care HomeThank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
We are delighted to hear that your dad has settled in so well during his first few weeks with us, especially as this can often be a significant transition for both residents and their families. It is wonderful to know that our team has been able to keep you informed and provide the support and reassurance you need.
We greatly appreciate your kind comments about our staff and the organisation of the home. Building positive relationships with residents and their families is very important to us, and we are pleased that you are getting to know the team and becoming familiar with how things work.
Thank you for placing your trust in us. We look forward to continuing to support your dad as he becomes even more settled and feels increasingly at home at The Beeches.
Kind regards,

My Mum went into The Beeches at the end of October 2025, she was not in a good place and we worried about how she would settle in. The staff were excellent and did their best to help Mum even though she was very difficult at times.
Mum has needed quite a lot of medical attention due to frequent infections
and the nursing staff were quick to recognise the signs and involve the local GP as soon as possible.
There is work ongoing at the home to improve the decor, replace doors etc. It is good to see this investment.
The care staff and administrative staff are good at communicating with family.
Reply from Kathleen Wood, Quality Team at Beeches Care HomeThank you for your positive review. It must be a huge relief to see the staff doing everything they can to help her settle in and that the nurses responded so quickly to her medical needs. Having caring, attentive staff can make such a huge difference during moments like this, from clinical staff to the front desk, we aim to treat both residents and families with compassion and respect and we will continue to keep her feel comfortable and supported each day.

I call weekly to see residents of a particular faith, but I chat to any resident in the near vacinity.
I find the staff are always interactive with the residents and staff are very much visual in the sitting room - residents are never left alone. There is always a calm and peaceful atmosphere in the
home and 'never' a smell of toileting accidents. A pleasure & privilege to visit weekly, and I commend the staff for their commitment and love they deliver.
Reply from Kathleen Wood, Quality Team at Beeches Care HomeThank you for the wonderful feedback! We're glad you enjoy your visits just as much as we enjoy seeing you every week, bringing joy to the residents as you offer communion and prayers. We're happy to hear you find our staff interactive and engaging and that you enjoy the calm and peaceful atmosphere.
Creating a clean welcoming and comfortable space is very important to us. We truly appreciate your visits and look forward to seeing you soon.

It is easy to contact the home and any questions or queries I have are always answered promptly by phone or email.

My stay at the Beeches was made great by the Manager & her girls. All gave me friendly helpful service, well above the call of duty. The only things which could be improved were the quality of the beds & the food, which was mostly good, but improvements were possible. I enjoyed the breakfasts & lunches,
while the evening meals often consisted of sandwiches made with white bread (no taste or nourishment), not cooked meals. Sometimes soup was served not hot but luke warm, - less than appetising. More home cooking & less factory food & white bread would be a big improvement.
Meals could be made much more enjoyable if wine and/or beer were on the menu. Would this be legal?
Reply from Naveed Hussain, Owner at Beeches Care HomeDear Simon,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are so pleased to hear that you felt well looked after by the team. The manager and all the staff truly care about making each resident's stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, so it means a lot to know their efforts made a positive difference for you.We also really appreciate your comments on the beds and food. We always want to improve where we can, so your feedback is very helpful. We will certainly consider your suggestions, especially regarding meal variety and temperature. Regarding your question about wine or beer, we will look into what is possible within the regulations. If you ever have any further thoughts or if there is anything else we can do, please do not hesitate to reach out. Wishing you all the best.

My uncle was admitted to hospital from his previous care home and the decision was made to look for an alternative care home that could offer end of life nursing care and I am so pleased that we chose The Beeches Care Home. Whilst there he was treated with all the care and dignity that you would expect
for your loved one. The staff and nurses were easy to approach and constantly kept us up to date with his care needs. Whilst visiting the home we saw that he was clean and looked relaxed and happy, you could also see how the staff loved to interact with all the other residents and I would not hesitate to recommend The Beeches.

My father was a resident at The Beeches Care Home from September 2022 until April 2023 when he passed away peacefully. During his time at the home, the staff treated him with the utmost dignity and the nursing care he received was excellent. The team seemed strong and staff were always friendly and
helpful when we visited. There were lots of activities for residents and the opportunity for family to join in too. My father's room was always clean and there was a real sense that there was an understanding of his complex needs. The appearance of the home is not luxurious and some areas are a little dated but this certainly does not detract from the high standard of care they provide which is the priority here. It is fair to say that there is a project for upgrading and redecorating in process currently. I would not hesitate in recommending the home to friends who may also need these services for their loved ones.

Both my mum and auntie were admitted to The Beeches just as the Covid lockdown was taking hold and so I wasn't really able to get a full picture beforehand of what it was like. Nearly three years on, I'm very pleased with the standard of care offered and I'd have no hesitation in recommending The Beeches.
Unfortunately, my auntie passed away but the end-of-life care she received was exemplary, the staff could not have been more caring. The way that they helped my mum through this difficult period was very much appreciated.
There have been occasional issues arising but what impressed me was the willingness and effort made by the management to address and resolve these quickly. The Beeches has a strong management team along with some very capable staff on the nursing/caring side. They're always prepared to go the extra mile.
In terms of improvements, work is now taking place to refresh the decor etc. which I think was overdue. Steps to recruiting more permanent staff are also welcomed.

We sadly had to make the difficult decision to place Dad permanently in a care home in April as his dementia had deteriorated quickly. I chose The Beeches Care Home as it was local to me, and after looking at a few different homes, The Beeches Care Home came out top. I was worried he wouldn't settle,
but he is settled and happy which I now know was the right decision to make. The staff here are friendly and caring and if I'm having a bit of a 'wobble' they reassure me. The staff do lots of activities with the residents and Dad loves the dancing! Dad enjoys all the food and says he is well fed. All in all my dad is happy and cared for so well and that is all I could ask for.

My dad has been a resident at The Beeches Care Home for nine months. He is very happy and has made lots of friends both with staff and other residents. He thinks the food is wonderful and he loves his clean, private room where he can sit and watch his TV. He regularly participates in events run by the
home, most recently the Jubilee celebrations. He loved the singers who played recently too. From my point of view, he is safe and happy, he’s treated with respect and dignity and he isn’t lonely anymore. Both of us can’t recommend The Beeches Care Home highly enough.

I am so grateful to all the staff at The Beeches Care Home for the kind, consistent care they offer to my Mum. There have been challenging moments over the past couple of years for all sorts of reasons, and they have been terrific in looking after Mum. She is in much better physical health now than
for some time, and though some aspects of her illness are difficult for all of us, the team at The Beeches always do an amazing job. Visits are clearly easier now, for which we are all grateful, but throughout Covid the home kept us informed of all regulations and kept us seeing Mum as much as was possible. I am thankful each and every day to know that Mum is well looked after, safe, enjoying meals and cups of tea with other people around her. Facebook photos and video clips of her singing and enjoying activities always brighten my day, as do regular phone calls between visits. No care home is perfect for everyone - but The Beeches Care Home continues to be really excellent for my mother; I'm very thankful.
