During my husband's 9 weeks of care at St Margaret's, he has had several medical emergencies, and these were dealt with by the nurses and manager quickly, calmly and proficiently.
The carers, cleaners and other members of staff work extremely hard, being kind, efficient and cheerful, making a very
pleasant environment for everyone.

I must admit I was very reticent to put my husband into a care home but after a hospital stay it became a necessity. I didn't need to have worried, from day one the care has been amazing. All the staff have been so friendly, his personalized care is carried out to a very high standard. He has settled
in so well, I even feel supported by the staff. Communication between the care home staff to myself is excellent. He is well cared for by all the fantastic staff, he is welcomed at the activities though he can't really participate. His room is clean and tidied thanks to the cleaners, he enjoys the food always clearing his plate. Even due to his illness and he becomes uncooperative they treat him with so much respect and friendly humour. I can't recommend St Margaret's highly enough, I have peace of mind knowing he is here.

Every single employee, Managers, care staff, kitchen staff, laundry staff/cleaners, and entertainment staff, work hard to ensure a caring and safe environment for everyone.
I am receiving care for after treatment of an accident and it's a friendly, caring and supportive environment, I am very grateful
for the care that I have received from everyone. My friends and family are always welcome and they receive a warm welcome from all the staff.
I am making a good recovery thanks to the care I'm receiving.

My aunt was diagnosed with an inoperable tumour last year. St Margaret's was offered to her and she chose it. Her adjustment to living at St Margaret's was much quicker than we as a family expected and she soon found it to be her home. All the staff have been amazing and have looked after her with kindness
and love that you would expect to be given to their own relatives. My aunt had a wonderful last Christmas at St Margaret's and for this, we are truly thankful. St Margaret's is a care home that really does care. Out of 10, I would give it 15! Thank you once again to all the staff for making our beloved aunt's last days as comfortable and peaceful as possible.

I came from Hospital with no knowledge or idea of what to expect, I was very impressed from the word go, as was my sister who accompanied me. We were welcomed and immediately felt comfortable and at home, this has been borne out during the whole of my rehab during my stay. I underwent radiotherapy and
the support I received from every member of staff made a very difficult situation bearable. There is a wonderful sense of safety and security I am confident that when the time comes to return, I will be welcomed with the same loving care.

For the short time my husband has been at the home, we have found it to be very welcoming. The staff are most caring and nothing has been too much trouble for them, in fact, they are quick to alert us if they think there is a problem. The nurses are attentive and management have gone above and beyond
to make my husband welcome and as comforting as possible. I have nothing but the highest praise for them.

I find the home friendly and welcoming. Care and support good. Mum treated with dignity. Staff excellent. Management. Excellent. Rooms good. Facilities are good. Cleanliness excellent. Food I find safety and security good and drink good. Activities look good but mum does not take part. Value for money
I cannot answer as social services have been paying for Mum's stay up to now.

My Dad had spent 11 days on end-of-life care in St Margaret's. I found the staff very helpful and approachable when needing information on my Dad's care. The only issue I came across was that there was never anybody on the desk, we walked in signed the book and left an hour or so later nobody on the
desk or checking anybody who entered.
They cared for him 100% and he was always being checked on so no problem there but I think the security could do with looking at it as the door was open to anybody.

St Margarets operates an open door policy and has done for many years, the visitors to St Margarets find it a lot more convenient, especially after the restrictions of Covid. The door is locked from 7pm to 7am daily during the winter months and from 8pm to 6am in the summer months.

My father was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia and we arranged for him to go into assisted living at another premises locally. After a while it was realised he needed better, round the clock care. I visited several care homes locally and St Margaret's Care Home were the only one that treated my with
respect and dignity. It was agreed that my dad would become a resident at St Margaret's and since his arrival on 3rd Jan 2025, he has become more settled and less of a strain on myself and my sister. After a rocky start the staff at St Margaret's have been able to relate to him and he is now considerably more content and active.

Horrid place, horrid staff, horrid nurse. Never been in a place so uncaring in all my life. My poor Dad spent his last 5 days on this earth there and I will never forgive myself for allowing him to be there!

It has been identified that this was from July 2024, some 6 months ago and it is impossible for me to understand why your concerns were not raised sooner, to allow me the opportunity to complete a full investigation. I can understand that this was an emotional time for you and your family, especially considering your father-in-law was only with us for 5 days.

What a lovely care home. My father initially went into St Margaret's for respite at the end of August after having a couple of falls at home. The staff are amazing and my father ended up becoming a permanent resident. My father passed away on 25th December 2024. We were telephoned immediately and the
empathy we received was outstanding. I would recommend St Margaret's 100%. Thank you to all members of staff who cared for my Dad with love and care.

My sister and I took the difficult (but right) decision to Move our mum in July of this year to St Margaret's. From the initial meeting we had to actually moving Mum, the Manager helped and supported us every step of the way. She allocated Mum a room so she can look out onto the garden and a space in
the lounge so she can do the same. When Mum arrived, the manager and her fantastic team welcomed Mum and took time to help her settle in.
Since then, Mum has settled very well and the help, care support and entertainment provided has been great. All of the staff are very caring and attentive and react to each resident's needs. Mum is very happy and so are we!

My mother is in St Margaret's care home and they look after her and have never seen her look better, this is a wonderful care home and the staff that work there are brilliant it's like having a second family. Would highly recommend this place, the place is beautiful and the surroundings ie the gardens.

My dad went in for respite for 2 weeks and due to a change in circumstances, he's now a permanent resident, as a family were really pleased that we could get a permanent place for Dad in St Margaret's. The manager and staff are lovely always there to help, he's got a good room we've put his own TV up
and photos and the food is really good. Dad's settled and happy and being well cared for which gives us peace of mind. It's always clean and tidy and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for care or respite for their relative.

We as a family are extremely happy with the care, warmth, dedication and hard work of all staff they are lovely. The cleanliness and food are brilliant. The residents are given interaction with several activities and we feel it's like home from home.

My mother-in-law has settled well into St Margarets. All staff are always at hand to help no matter what it is for. We have visited many different times of the day and they are very welcoming.
The food is always very good and the servings are very generous.
Medication is given at set times and it
is adhered to by all nursing staff.
There are many activities for my mother-in-law to join in with if she wishes to.
