Stallingborough Lodge

Mum has been a resident at Stallingborough Lodge for over one year now. The nursing care and consistent support she has received from all staff has been outstanding.
Despite significant complex needs due to advanced Dementia and Alzheimer's, the team have managed to not only support Mum in recovering
from significant physical health deterioration on arrival, but have consistently supported her improved well being over time; demonstrating great holistic care, kindness, routine and calm.
Mum appears content and well, and her dignity always at the fore.
A Nurse is on shift at all times, Domestics, Carers, Activity Co-ordinator, Cooks, Manager - all invested, doing a brilliant job, approachable, compassionate, thoughtful.
As a family we have been able to relax and enjoy quality time with Mum without constant worry. This has been life changing.
This is one of the best homes in the Grimsby area in my opinion.
I am deeply grateful to them all.
Thank you sincerely.

A very good time with all the staff and residents. The activities were very good, the food was very good and the choice of menu at dinner time was very good and funny and did more and the cleaners were very good and always had a chat and for the price very good.
Reply from Christine Wright, Manager at Stallingborough Lodge

Thank you for the kind remarks. We enjoyed your company and obviously the input you made when it came to activities and chatting with some of the residents, they are missing you. Hope you are managing and enjoying cooking for yourself and trying out some of the recipes you have enjoyed in the care home.

Stallingborough Lodge

My husband became a full-time resident at Stallingborough Lodge in mid-2022, having been in respite care occasionally in the previous year. Every member of staff treated him with respect and preserved his dignity at all times. He was always addressed by his name, which was one of the few things he could
remember. I was consulted about the food and liquids he had at home, and staff ensured he was always given food he enjoyed. In his final weeks, I spent many hours with my husband, and the staff, over every 24 hours, were first class. The nursing care was professional and kind, and the personal love and compassion given to us both were really appreciated. We both became part of the Stallingborough Lodge family. I will be forever grateful for keeping my husband smiling and happy. Thank you all.

I have been here since the end of April 2022, and I have found the staff to be most helpful and caring, as well as being able to have a joke and laugh as well. They take really good care in reducing any Covid outbreaks and easily sort it out if it does happen to be caught by someone! On a scale of 1
to 10, I give this place a 10.

Rivelin Care Home

Over 2 years ago, my wife, suffering from severe dementia and Alzheimer's was fortunate in securing a place at Rivelin Care Home. Since then, thanks to the wonderful care by the manager and her carers (they must be on some sort of day release from heaven) she has improved 100% in her demeanour and
communicative skills, nothing is to much trouble for them, wherever or whenever it is required.
Rooms and toilets are cleaned meticulously daily by a dedicated team of domestics.
Rivelin Care Home has a 5* rating for its catering facilities, and menus differ daily, if you don't fancy it, they'll do something you do fancy. An annual competition is held between all the Care Homes in the area to find the creme de la creme in different categories. Recently the manager swept the board's top award for best in Managerial and Leadership abilities and an award went to our Entertainment Co-ordinator.
Rivelin Care Home - as Tina Turner sang is: " Simply The Best !"
