The care staff are attentive and always listen to any issues. We are very grateful for the support they have provided to our relative. The activities they provide are varied and stimulating for the residents.

Since our mum walked into Rathside she has felt at home. Her own home had become a prison that she had no joy in..and she now has smiles every day rather than only when we are with her. Rathside itself is absolutely beautiful. It's sunny and cosy with so much going on all the time. They really do cater wonderfully for both Dementia and Alzheimer's. They plan activities daily which mum can either join in and have a fun day or she can spend the day sat in her own room watching her beloved TV. Her room cocoons her on the days that she can't find the strength to join in. So she really does have the best of all worlds. As we still have our days out? And the staff.. the staff are all just wonderful. They have guided us after a terrifying double diagnosis and helped us when things feel dark. They are wonderful with mums sometimes challenging mood swings. And they all really go above and beyond the call of duty. Care and respect in abundance. Where would we be without you all thank you

Our family has been so pleased with the care and support my mum has received during her stay. From the moment she arrived, the staff made her feel welcome, safe, and valued. They have shown genuine kindness, patience, and compassion, always taking the time to listen to her and ensure she is comfortable and happy.

The home is clean, welcoming, and has a lovely atmosphere. It's reassuring to know that my mum is well cared for which has made a real difference to her wellbeing.

Communication with our family has been excellent, and the staff are always approachable and willing to answer any questions. We are incredibly grateful for everything they have done and would highly recommend this care home to anyone looking for high-quality, compassionate care for a loved one.

Rathside care home as been excellent with my dad, I cannot find anything what would make me concerned. The staff are all amazing and so friendly.

Rathside also allow you in with a dog which is great, and to see other residents interactive with my dog is just amazing. The staff are always doing some activities with the residents which is excellent to see.

Anyone looking for a care home for there loved ones I wouldn't hesitate and go check Rathside out, my dad as settled well and always says he is well looked after which is a great comfort to me knowing dad is happy.

Rathside goes above and beyond for their residents and family. There is always clear, constant communication and dialogue which puts everyone at ease. Compassionate, hard working and respectful staff ensure consistency and reassurance for those being cared for. We as a family feel comfort knowing our father is safe and all his needs are being met, also confident that he is in the best place for him at this time.

Excellent care home.Staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble.They provide holistic care and emotional support when needed.As a family we feel mum is getting the best care and we are listened to if we have any concerns.The cooks provide nourishing meals and cater for individual requirements.

Finding Pingley Court was a huge relief for me. Knowing that my auntie is safe, happy, and well looked after is everything. I wouldn't hesitate to place another family member in here if the need ever arose, I would happily recommend it.

Pingley Court Care Home was selected because the staff looked so friendly. Their behavour to each other and to all the residents made everyone comfortable. Visitors are welcomed and residents are occasionally taken out for a coffee.

Both my Mother in Law and Mum spent several years at Pingley Court, who delivered fantastic care throughout their time there.

Staff are amazing, always friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble.

Dawn, the care home manager, was always available for a chat and runs the home with real focus on helping and supporting those with dementia. A true professional, who cares passionately about her job.

All the staff I've met are truly lovely, they go above and beyond to help and look after everyone who lives there. I live in Wales, it's a long way so I do stay a good 12 hours when I visit and I always feel welcome and never in the way. Staff were looking after me too, always offering drinks, asking if I'm ok or just a friendly chat which is lovely. I was worried about Dad during the night as he wonders but after meeting the night lady last night and speaking to another on the phone I know he is in safe hands. These ladies seem to love Dad like he is their Dad. I mentioned Dad's nails were annoying him and staff cut and filed his nails there and then. I could tell Dad loved her and felt safe. Although I hate leaving him I know he is in safe hands. Thank you for making this heartbreaking time a little easier. Thank you. Xxx

Mum was on a short stay at Sycamore Lodge, whilst she was with them I cannot fault the care she received, any issues we did have were addressed and we were listened too with any concerns, with care and concern.

My friend of 44 years- Tom- Has been in respite care at Sycamore Lodge. His care has been exceptional and he has been so well looked after in all aspects of his requirements. I can't thank the staff enough for all they have done during his stay. Tom has been very happy here and that has been a great comfort to me and his family. Thank you to you all.

Nothing was ever too much trouble and we were shown only kindness to the very end

The care and support my uncle receives is delivered with love, dignity, respect and compassion. The staff team at Pingley Court go above and beyond to make people feel safe and secure. Problems are always addressed and resolved. Food on the whole is generally good, however tea and supper could be a lot more varied. The management team are very visible and very responsive to issues. Pingley Court gives me peace of mind regarding my uncle's care.

My Mum is sadly very far into her dementia journey. She's been at Rathside for several years now and I regularly thank my lucky stars that I found this home. The home itself is clean, beautifully decorated and welcoming. The meals are excellent and there is a wide variety of activities for residents to engage with if they wish. However, the biggest asset of Rathside is undoubtedly its staff. Every member of staff from the managers, seniors, carers and housekeepers, treat Mum with kindness, respect and compassion. They all seem to know Mum so well, and go out of their way to ensure she is happy, comfortable and well cared for. Her changing care needs are continuously reassessed to ensure she is as comfortable as possible as she declines. The staff have also always been a great personal support to me, and are always available for a chat and to answer any questions I have. I would absolutely recommend Rathside to anyone looking for a home for their loved one.

The staff are absolutely wonderful, they are upbeat, friendly, kind and caring, just what I want for my mum. It's really hard leaving parents in anyone else's care but I have full confidence in the staff at Pingley Court. My mum is always clean and cared for, and she seems really happy.

I mainly started doing a six-day respite period in early December 2024 as a way of getting over a senior family bereavement, 2 weeks before. Instantly made new friends, with residents and staff, and made me a member of the Pingley Court Care Home family. They acknowledged my artistic talent. Towards the end of February, they greeted me with open arms as I became a permanent resident. Thank you all for your warm residential welcome.

Social services were responsible for placing my father in a care home over a year ago and despite us not really knowing what he was going to, we couldn't be more delighted with their selection. Comfortable accommodation, very friendly and caring staff and I'm sure Bill will agree, delicious food. Though not really knowing the complete situation, I'm sure he his comfortable and content.

I will always be thankful to everyone at Gresham Lodge for the care they gave my mum over the years and the comfort they brought to both her and our family.
