Pingley Court Care Home was selected because the staff looked so friendly. Their behavour to each other and to all the residents made everyone comfortable. Visitors are welcomed and residents are occasionally taken out for a coffee.
Reply from Dawn Martin, Registered Manager at Pingley Court Care HomeThank you for your review , when the repurposed areas are completed and the activity board displaying the weeks events you will be able to see all the great things we do with the residents. The residents have been planning with the activity worker what Pingley courts summer looks like and we are hoping not to be in the home much. The winter is always hard on our ventures as people do not want to go out in the cold . Please ask staff if you want to know the activities for the day and if you need anything .

Both my Mother in Law and Mum spent several years at Pingley Court, who delivered fantastic care throughout their time there.
Staff are amazing, always friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble.
Dawn, the care home manager, was always available for a chat and runs the home with real focus
on helping and supporting those with dementia. A true professional, who cares passionately about her job.
Thank you so much for all you did for our Mums.
Reply from Dawn Martin, Registered Manager at Pingley Court Care HomeThank you for your kind words we feel honoured to care for all who come to live at Pingley Court and will continue to grow in our knowledge to care for those living with Dementia . Take care

All the staff I've met are truly lovely, they go above and beyond to help and look after everyone who lives there. I live in Wales, it's a long way so I do stay a good 12 hours when I visit and I always feel welcome and never in the way. Staff were looking after me too, always offering drinks, asking
if I'm ok or just a friendly chat which is lovely. I was worried about Dad during the night as he wonders but after meeting the night lady last night and speaking to another on the phone I know he is in safe hands. These ladies seem to love Dad like he is their Dad. I mentioned Dad's nails were annoying him and staff cut and filed his nails there and then. I could tell Dad loved her and felt safe. Although I hate leaving him I know he is in safe hands. Thank you for making this heartbreaking time a little easier. Thank you. Xxx

The care and support my uncle receives is delivered with love, dignity, respect and compassion. The staff team at Pingley Court go above and beyond to make people feel safe and secure. Problems are always addressed and resolved. Food on the whole is generally good, however tea and supper could be a
lot more varied. The management team are very visible and very responsive to issues. Pingley Court gives me peace of mind regarding my uncle's care.
Reply from Dawn Martin, Registered Manager at Pingley Court Care HomeThank you for your review , it has been good to see your uncle enjoying his hobbies again since moving into the big room and him having two hobby tables in there. I know he also enjoys his time in the lounge playing the keyboard or playing Bingo during our afternoon drinks. We aim to respond to any concern as it is raised , the tea time/supper meal has been discussed a number of times but each time we change it we are asked by most residents to change back. We do have air fryers available so if you can let the team know if there is something specific your uncle enjoys then we will ensure this is available.

My Mum is sadly very far into her dementia journey. She's been at Rathside for several years now and I regularly thank my lucky stars that I found this home. The home itself is clean, beautifully decorated and welcoming. The meals are excellent and there is a wide variety of activities for residents
to engage with if they wish. However, the biggest asset of Rathside is undoubtedly its staff. Every member of staff from the managers, seniors, carers and housekeepers, treat Mum with kindness, respect and compassion. They all seem to know Mum so well, and go out of their way to ensure she is happy, comfortable and well cared for. Her changing care needs are continuously reassessed to ensure she is as comfortable as possible as she declines. The staff have also always been a great personal support to me, and are always available for a chat and to answer any questions I have. I would absolutely recommend Rathside to anyone looking for a home for their loved one.

The staff are absolutely wonderful, they are upbeat, friendly, kind and caring, just what I want for my mum. It's really hard leaving parents in anyone else's care but I have full confidence in the staff at Pingley Court. My mum is always clean and cared for, and she seems really happy.

I mainly started doing a six-day respite period in early December 2024 as a way of getting over a senior family bereavement, 2 weeks before. Instantly made new friends, with residents and staff, and made me a member of the Pingley Court Care Home family. They acknowledged my artistic talent. Towards
the end of February, they greeted me with open arms as I became a permanent resident. Thank you all for your warm residential welcome.

Social services were responsible for placing my father in a care home over a year ago and despite us not really knowing what he was going to, we couldn't be more delighted with their selection. Comfortable accommodation, very friendly and caring staff and I'm sure Bill will agree, delicious food. Though
not really knowing the complete situation, I'm sure he his comfortable and content.

Since the admission every effort has been made to make dad comfortable and happy.
He is settled and the staff are brilliant caring for his needs.
Due to his disabilities i was worried about sending him there but I have no concerns when leaving him. Every single carer who has looked after my dad has
been lovely.
He has a really good relationship with everybody there.
I cannot thank them enough for his ongoing care. They treat service users as part of there family.

Mum lived at Gresham Lodge from 2017 until she passed away recently, and throughout that time I could not have wished for her to be in better hands.
The staff are not only professional but also deeply kind and compassionate. Living abroad meant I couldn't always be there as much as I wanted, but I
always felt reassured knowing she was surrounded by such dedicated carers. They treated her with dignity, warmth, and companionship every single day.
I will always be thankful to everyone at Gresham Lodge for the care they gave my mum over the years and the comfort they brought to both her and our family.

Mum has been in the home since December 2024. To date I have found the care to be excellent. Mum is well looked after and all the staff are helpful and caring. There doesn't appear to be a high turnover of staff which means that the staff get to know the families too.

Gresham is a small lovely care home with a team of staff who really care about residents. It is safe and secure and clean and very well organised which helps with caring for residents with dementia and other health issues. They spend time trying to stimulate residents with various activities including
family and friends on occasions too. Really appreciate their work and commitment, and can't recommend them enough.

My mum attended here for Day Care. In the run up to this the staff were very helpful in answering any questions we had and showing us around without an appointment (which is always recommended).
Staff were wonderful with mum and treated her with the care and respect she deserved.
The home always
looked clean and tidy. They have some great ideas for the residents with dementia. The food looked superb too. All residents seemed happy.
I would give special thanks to two ladies as they were wonderful in helping me to arrange everything.

I would recommend Sycamore Lodge care home with its lovely, homely atmosphere. My mum is a resident here. The staff are very caring and thoughtful. Going above and beyond staying here is like being part of a large family the staff spend time with. The residents during different types of activities and
there is often organised entertainment. At meal times there is a lovely choice.
Reply from Zuzanna Kubacka, Registered Manager at Sycamore Lodge Care HomeThank you so much for your beautiful words about Sycamore Lodge. I'll be sure to pass on your kind sentiments to the wellbeing assistants and kitchen staff as well-they'll be delighted that the varied entertainment and mealtime choices are bringing joy and comfort to your mum.Thank you again for entrusting us with her care and for sharing such a heartfelt recommendation. As I am out of the country for a while does not mean have let my care of the resident go without. If anything is required by, I make sure the money is transferred to Sycamore Lodge Care Home. I make frequent phone calls not only to the resident but also to the caring staff at Sycamore Lodge. Staying
in touch with everyone does help and I would recommend any families that have moved away, does not mean an end to being kind and considerate to those in care and those that look tend to their needs.
The staff at Sycamore go above and beyond their care of duty, that has always been the case.
This resident has always said happy to be there. Personal TV in the room and plays music with two friends who visit once a week. They are even arranging entertainment for the other residents.
My recommendation for family members is stay in touch on a regular basis because at one time, these residents would have looked after you throughout your life.
