I am happy that my mother is in a good home and being well looked after.
From the moment they open the door, the staff greet you so professionally but with a friendly manner making me feel so comfortable and relaxed. It is very clean and what I like is it is like a home from home. Plenty of rooms to go and sit and chat in with my sister as I like to take her out of her bedroom for our chats. Her bedroom is fab all her personal things making it familiar. I can't praise the home enough and I would be happy to live there. I can see my sister is well looked after which is what we all want for her and again I'd like to say every staff, carers and management are lovely friendly people.
My mother has been a permanent resident at Ty Cwm Ogwr for three years. She has settled extremely well, and my family and I have no concerns with the excellent care she receives. The staff are genuinely caring and work diligently to provide support in a respectful manner to all residents. The care home is very clean and has a cosy, homely feel. Meals served are of a high standard, and communication is excellent between staff and families.
Everything is clean and welcoming - like home from home.
My mother has only recently been at Ty Cwm Ogwr. I am very happy with the care and support they lovingly give, also, she feels very safe. I am very satisfied with all they do.
My grandmother became a resident in April 2021, she was very reluctant to go but they made her welcome and she has settled in very well. The staff are very caring, she can be difficult at times and they are extremely good at dealing with her. Thank you so much for all you do.
My Nan has been a resident here since September 2019. She seems to have settled in very well. As her granddaughter, I feel the care she has here is excellent. The manager is very friendly and helpful. Nice options of food and plenty of snacks throughout the day. The home provides my Nan with dignity and respect. I'm very happy with the overall care. Thanks to all the staff and manager.
Called to see a friends mum while she was away on holiday, she was in the hairdressers so I visited there first, wow, she looked absolutely fab. Sat out the front for a while as it was such a lovely day, tea and ice cream was brought at the same time and had a lovely chat to the manager. They all seemed very caring which was nice. I have been here many years ago and remembered some staff from then, it's very much changed from that time if I recall, a very happy and pleasant place to visit.
I was very anxious about my mother going into residential care but all the staff at Ty Cwm Ogwr are wonderful. They take great care to make all the people in their care feel very special. Nothing at all is too much trouble for any of them at all.
My elderly mum stayed at Ty Cwm Ogwr for two and a half weeks in July. She had the best care and attention from everyone and she was made to feel at home there. When I picked her up she cried as she was leaving as she was so sad to say goodbye to everyone. It will be our first choice for respite care next time.
