All the staff were helpful, courtious, respectful. Her experience at the home was exceptional I would have no hesitation in recommending this home to other friends who have relatives who need care.

Sometimes I think there maybe should be more appropriate activities for the residents in the nursing unit as this seems to be lacking of late, but I think this is more due to a lack of resources/ staffing in this area.

My husband is treated in the nursing home section of Stansty House, with kindness and dignity. He has 24 hour nursing care. All the staff including managers, administrators, nurses, carers, cleaners, laundry, kitchen and maintenance lads, are hard working and very kind to myself and to my husband who is completely immobile + cannot communicate. He has cognitive impairment dementia. The staff have a very demanding job to do and I can only admire their empathy + kindness. It's a pleasure for me to go to Stansty House to visit my husband, knowing he is so well cared for there.

The home's very light, bright and welcoming with an open door policy. It does have a small garden which the residents can sit in in good weather, and a conservatory attached to the main lounge. There is plenty of space for the residents to move around and the staff are very friendly, helpful, busy and caring. Nothing is too much trouble and they always listen to you taking on board what has been discussed. Residents are well looked after and dignity is always maintained, along with confidentiality. There are activities on offer, but not all want to join in, perhaps a greater variety would help. Rooms are good and kept clean and tidy and are well furnished. Overall a very good experience!

Mum's newly decorated room is fabulous. The new curtains are so much better. The staff are all amazing with mum. The food in some days could be better. Only downside is lack of any cooling in room in hot weather ceiling fans would be a great addition.

My mum went into Stansty House EMI unit Feb 26, there were some teething issues unfortunately, mum had a fall which was witnessed and ended up in A&E. As a family we raised our concerns with the manager of the home during a safeguarding meeting including the social worker. The manager of Stansty House, listened to our concerns and was very understanding and proactive in accommodating a move for mum into the residential unit for the EMI unit. Such a help during a very stressful time to have someone be so helpful.

Our overall experience has been positive.

Professional service and friendly caring staff. Welcoming. Very clean. Comfortable rooms and cosy. Looking after my mum well. My mum said she was happy there. Very good security. Patient's hygiene excellent.

My mum has been staying in Stansty since October 2025. The staff are wonderful and have always treated her with both dignity and respect. When I visit I am always greeted in a friendly manner and the staff always make time to chat. My mum is very happy in Stansty she has very much improved in her overall health and wellbeing. If I have any negatives to say is maybe the rooms could be a little updated eg the armchairs and curtains are looking a little tired but this does not affect the cleanliness of the rooms.

It is well run and staff are very caring

My father has received excellent care since he arrived Oct 2025. The staff are friendly and are approachable. They keep our family informed of any issues regarding his care. He started in the dementia unit where he always appeared cheerful in his environment. He is now on the nursing side which again keep us involved in his care.

Since my mum has been here, she has received excellent care from all members of staff, nurses and carers. If mum doesn't like the food offered, the kitchen staff make mum something she likes. Thank you so much to all the staff, especially Mel, the nurse, who always pops in to see mum and make her laugh, and that makes mum's day.

All the staff at Stansty House Wrexham have been very welcoming to my father since he moved in there. They have done everything they can to make him feel welcome and at home.

Room could do with being upgraded- electric hoist built in room. More electric sockets. TV brackets on walls. Updated furniture. Air con units needed. Better facilities for visitors- drinks making facilities - cups availability. Outdated soft furnishings. Mugs, water glasses and jugs need replacing, even when clean, look dirty.

Everyone has made us all welcome and has allied over fears as this was a massive decision for us to make.

I can say, I am happy that we chose this care home for my dad's final weeks and days.

I am very impressed with the staff and the care that they give to my friend. They are busy but kind and helpful. Always friendly and so patient with the residents and their visitors. Well done!

I feel my uncle is very well acted for, the food is very good, the staff always show respect and the laundry service is good. The manager is helpful and happy to discuss any issues. I speak on behalf of my uncle due to his dementia but he is happy which is our main concern.

My mum was transferred from hospital to this nursing home. From the very first minute I walked through the door I knew this was going to be a great place for my mum to spend what time she has remaining. My mum's room is very clean and tidy as is the rest of the home. The staff here are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They have made my mum and myself feel very welcome. They have activities most days including bingo and quizzes. I would highly recommend Stansty House if you need a caring team to look after your loved ones.

I am very happy with my husband's care at Stansty House Care Home. He is very comfortable and is being really well looked after with kindness and dignity. His room is spotless and his food is very nutritional. He is kept very clean. All the staff are caring and professional. The nurses, carers, and laundry staff are really good. The manager and her admin team are excellent. I feel relieved he is in a safe and secure home and that is Stansty House.
