All the staff were helpful, courtious, respectful. Her experience at the home was exceptional I would have no hesitation in recommending this home to other friends who have relatives who need care.

My Aunt seems to be settled in nicely and is enjoying the food (particularly the sweeter desserts). Very pleased! Highly Recommended

My mother in law, was only in this home Eryl Fryn a short while, But the care, dignity, compassion she received was the best, Also as a family, we were treated so well, Nanna, she was always clean and comfortable. And all her needs were not met. As a family we can't thank ERYL FRYN enough.

Sometimes I think there maybe should be more appropriate activities for the residents in the nursing unit as this seems to be lacking of late, but I think this is more due to a lack of resources/ staffing in this area.

I have the highest regard for all staff and management at Glyn Menai.

My husband is treated in the nursing home section of Stansty House, with kindness and dignity. He has 24 hour nursing care. All the staff including managers, administrators, nurses, carers, cleaners, laundry, kitchen and maintenance lads, are hard working and very kind to myself and to my husband who is completely immobile + cannot communicate. He has cognitive impairment dementia. The staff have a very demanding job to do and I can only admire their empathy + kindness. It's a pleasure for me to go to Stansty House to visit my husband, knowing he is so well cared for there.

The home's very light, bright and welcoming with an open door policy. It does have a small garden which the residents can sit in in good weather, and a conservatory attached to the main lounge. There is plenty of space for the residents to move around and the staff are very friendly, helpful, busy and caring. Nothing is too much trouble and they always listen to you taking on board what has been discussed. Residents are well looked after and dignity is always maintained, along with confidentiality. There are activities on offer, but not all want to join in, perhaps a greater variety would help. Rooms are good and kept clean and tidy and are well furnished. Overall a very good experience!

We had to wait for a place to come available for mum but it was 100% worth the wait. Mum moved from a very corporate style home which looked amazing but behind the scenes was actually pretty poor; what you see is what you get at Ty Cariad which is extremely important when you are trusting them with your loved one.

Dad is a new resident and I've been impressed by the care and quality my dad had received. Staff are friendly and helpful. Reassured that Dad is getting good quality care.

He seems very happy here.

The only issue is the highly variable quality of the catering.

Residential client. Receiving fabulous care. Staff extremely kind when she was unwell. Staff are supportive and encouraging. Engage my aunt in all activities. Great variety of entertainment. Really help pick her up after suffering a bereavement. Couldn't praise the staff enough.

I visit my friend, who has had a severe stroke, as often as I can. I am always greeted in a friendly manner by the staff who let me in. The home smells nice and is always clean and tidy. My friend is as comfortable as she can be in an adjustable bed. Her room is modern and well decorated, if a little small.

We are profoundly grateful for the exceptional care and tenderness our family member receives every single day. Seeing them settled, comfortable and treated with such dignity gives our family an incredible sense of peace. The staff's kindness, patience, and dedication have made the nursing home feel like a true extension of home, and we cannot thank the team enough for the comfort they bring to us all.

Have found all the staff very thoughtful and caring towards my Mum.Always kept informed of any issue.Very happy with the service provided. The staff are always polite and curteous towards Mum and any visitors.

There is nowhere else I would rather be. If the quality of our food improved, I would be happy, which I am sure other residents would feel that as well.

Mum's newly decorated room is fabulous. The new curtains are so much better. The staff are all amazing with mum. The food in some days could be better. Only downside is lack of any cooling in room in hot weather ceiling fans would be a great addition.

I found myself here after an adverse reaction to tramadol which left me in a lot of pain and unable to care for myself. Once out of our system I was able to care for myself a little more. Encouraged by staff, I was able to regain my independence. I now feel able to go home and regain my dignity which became marred by drugs. The staff have been very helpful, friendly and encouraging allowing me to regain my confidence regarding weight bearing and walking with broken bones. I am now back to my base level, but still have a long way to go.

My mother is a current resident and I cannot fault the love and care she receives from the wonderful staff there. It broke my heart when she had to be admitted into Fairways, but knowing how well she is being cared for is such a comfort to me. The staff are truly amazing and i cannot thank them enough. The only concern I have is with the laundry situation. I painstakingly label every item of my mum's clothing but a lot of her stuff keeps going missing, especially socks. Her drawer is full of single socks and also other items that don't belong to her. I've returned these items several times to the staff as I really don't want my mum wearing somebody else's clothes and socks. But these same items keep being put back in her room. This includes bedding. I bought 3 sets of brand new bedding for her, all labelled up, but somebody else's bedding keeps being put in her room. I'm not sure what can be done, but I'd really appreciate it being looked into. Thank you so much for everything

My mum went into Stansty House EMI unit Feb 26, there were some teething issues unfortunately, mum had a fall which was witnessed and ended up in A&E. As a family we raised our concerns with the manager of the home during a safeguarding meeting including the social worker. The manager of Stansty House, listened to our concerns and was very understanding and proactive in accommodating a move for mum into the residential unit for the EMI unit. Such a help during a very stressful time to have someone be so helpful.
