I found myself here after an adverse reaction to tramadol which left me in a lot of pain and unable to care for myself. Once out of our system I was able to care for myself a little more. Encouraged by staff, I was able to regain my independence. I now feel able to go home and regain my dignity which
became marred by drugs. The staff have been very helpful, friendly and encouraging allowing me to regain my confidence regarding weight bearing and walking with broken bones. I am now back to my base level, but still have a long way to go.

My mother is a current resident and I cannot fault the love and care she receives from the wonderful staff there. It broke my heart when she had to be admitted into Fairways, but knowing how well she is being cared for is such a comfort to me. The staff are truly amazing and i cannot thank them enough.
The only concern I have is with the laundry situation. I painstakingly label every item of my mum's clothing but a lot of her stuff keeps going missing, especially socks. Her drawer is full of single socks and also other items that don't belong to her. I've returned these items several times to the staff as I really don't want my mum wearing somebody else's clothes and socks. But these same items keep being put back in her room. This includes bedding. I bought 3 sets of brand new bedding for her, all labelled up, but somebody else's bedding keeps being put in her room. I'm not sure what can be done, but I'd really appreciate it being looked into. Thank you so much for everything

I was astounded by the cleanliness of this care home. It looked and smelt so fresh, nothing like other cars homes I have visited. The staff were extremely polite and helpful and my freind who is in the care home raves about the wonderful care he receives.


The food was exceptional. I am truly grateful

to all the hard working staff and I know my freind is in the best of hands. 10/10

My husband arrived at Fairways Newydd in a sorry state after spending 6 months in a psychiatric hospital. Within a matter of weeks at the home he was like a different person. His demeanour changed amazingly, he became compliant and pleasant. With the efforts of the kind and caring staff he started to
look well cared for and well groomed. His room is light and airy with wonderful views of Snowdonia.
I cannot praise the manager and her staff highly enough, nothing is too much trouble for them.
My husband is truly blessed to be in a care home of such a high standard.

This is hands down the best care home I have ever dealt with. The facilities are world class and the staff show genuine concern and compassion to everyone, whether resident or visitor. Sets the standards others should follow, highly recommended.

Staff are more than friendly. Their care of the residents is outstanding. I was impressed by the number of activities and outings that were arranged for the month.


Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Rooms are bright and the view of the Snowdonia range from my brother's room was outstanding.


The

level of care and attention was remarkable. I particularly liked the information and background of residents that's placed outside their room. The meals served there are good quality and looked delicious.


I would highly recommend Plas Newydd.

I am so pleased with fairways . My father has been suffering and still is from Alzheimer's. All the staff are wonderful with him and the rest of our family. Nothing is to much trouble and the way my father is cared for is exceptional. They are kind , considerate and understand the needs of my father
. I visit often and always find fairways staff welcoming. My father also is always clean and presentable even though at times I know he can be very difficult
Fairways is home from home for my father and for me too as it's like an extended family for us all
Thank you to all the staff we appreciate all your hard work, compassion and love shown to all

Very happy that Gwynfor is very well cared for. Always clean and tidy. He is dressed well daily. Food quality is very good, and he enjoys his meals. He is very happy at Fairways and as a family, it gives us peace of mind that he is well cared for.

I can't speak highly enough of Fairways Newydd Care Home and the amazing nurses and staff who care for my nan, Elizabeth. Every single member of the team shows such genuine kindness, patience, and compassion, and it's clear they truly care about the residents as individuals.


They always make sure

Elizabeth is comfortable, happy, and treated with dignity, and they consistently meet all of her needs. What means the most to me is how well they keep me informed - they communicate regularly and are always happy to talk through anything, which gives me real peace of mind.


The home feels warm, welcoming, and full of friendly faces. Knowing Elizabeth is in such safe and caring hands is such a comfort to our family. I'm so grateful for everything they do and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional care for their loved one.

My sister had been a resident at Fairways Newydd for four years. She suffered with dementia. At all times, the care was exemplary, and she was always treated with dignity. As a relative, I was kept well informed of any issues as I lived over 200 miles away. At the end of her life, my brother and I were
taken care of in every way, which made her passing as smooth as it could be. Staff were always available, day and night at assist. If I ever need a care home myself, I would be happy to stay here.

We cannot speak highly enough about Fairways Newydd. It is an exceptional nursing home. The staff and care is second to none. We get updates on my mother's care, often without asking.

My husband has a lovely room and all the staff are very caring and friendly. The food all seems to be very good and there is always plenty of drinks and snacks overall I am happy that my husband has settled in and seems content.

I am very pleased with the way my mother is being looked after. She is always very clean and she has a large and very bright room. She's well fed and seems to be happy. The staff are pleasant and very helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Not too pleased with the laundry, her jumpers have been spoilt
and shrunk, that's the only complaint!

My sister has been at Fairways Newydd for around two months. The managers of the home and the staff have been absolutely wonderful. My sister's situation was a difficult entry but has been handled with such empathy, care and support. We cannot recommend Fairways Newydd, the staff and the facilities
enough. Nothing is too much and the support they offer to relatives is first class. Thank you for all that you do. I am reserving a room for when it is my turn!!
