I was astounded by the cleanliness of this care home. It looked and smelt so fresh, nothing like other cars homes I have visited. The staff were extremely polite and helpful and my freind who is in the care home raves about the wonderful care he receives.
The food was exceptional. I am truly grateful to all the hard working staff and I know my freind is in the best of hands. 10/10

I cannot praise the manager and her staff highly enough, nothing is too much trouble for them.
My husband is truly blessed to be in a care home of such a high standard.
Dealing with Dementia is a challenge for families its reassuring that we are managing to change lives for our residents and families while improving their standard of living. We take pride in these achievements. Thanks for the feedback its much appreciated.
This is hands down the best care home I have ever dealt with. The facilities are world class and the staff show genuine concern and compassion to everyone, whether resident or visitor. Sets the standards others should follow, highly recommended.
Thanks for your kind remarks i will be sure to share this with the team thanks.
Thank you fairways for provided the best care for my father. The staff are amazing, they really care. Can't thank management enough - exceptional team. It truly is a home from home, considering it's been such a traumatic time for our family we couldn't have hoped for a better outcome.
Thanks from us all

Staff are more than friendly. Their care of the residents is outstanding. I was impressed by the number of activities and outings that were arranged for the month.
Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Rooms are bright and the view of the Snowdonia range from my brother's room was outstanding.
The level of care and attention was remarkable. I particularly liked the information and background of residents that's placed outside their room. The meals served there are good quality and looked delicious.
I would highly recommend Plas Newydd.
Becs.
Fairways is home from home for my father and for me too as it's like an extended family for us all

I can't speak highly enough of Fairways Newydd Care Home and the amazing nurses and staff who care for my nan, Elizabeth. Every single member of the team shows such genuine kindness, patience, and compassion, and it's clear they truly care about the residents as individuals.
They always make sure Elizabeth is comfortable, happy, and treated with dignity, and they consistently meet all of her needs. What means the most to me is how well they keep me informed - they communicate regularly and are always happy to talk through anything, which gives me real peace of mind.
The home feels warm, welcoming, and full of friendly faces. Knowing Elizabeth is in such safe and caring hands is such a comfort to our family. I'm so grateful for everything they do and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional care for their loved one.
Thanks again
My sister had been a resident at Fairways Newydd for four years. She suffered with dementia. At all times, the care was exemplary, and she was always treated with dignity. As a relative, I was kept well informed of any issues as I lived over 200 miles away. At the end of her life, my brother and I were taken care of in every way, which made her passing as smooth as it could be. Staff were always available, day and night at assist. If I ever need a care home myself, I would be happy to stay here.
Thanks again
We wouldn't like her to be anywhere else!
I will ensure that I feed this back to our staff and nurses.
Thanks once again!

My husband has a lovely room and all the staff are very caring and friendly. The food all seems to be very good and there is always plenty of drinks and snacks overall I am happy that my husband has settled in and seems content.
Thanks for your review Jan. We like to ensure our lovely residents have plenty of snacks to keep them going. Its a pleasure to look after hubby
I am very pleased with the way my mother is being looked after. She is always very clean and she has a large and very bright room. She's well fed and seems to be happy. The staff are pleasant and very helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Not too pleased with the laundry, her jumpers have been spoilt and shrunk, that's the only complaint!
Hi Wendy, I will speak to our laundry staff about this, as this is not what we want its important that we take care of the residents clothing. Please do let me know if this doesn't improve and as always I'm happy to replace should it be required. Apologies once again. Thanks very much for your review on the whole your happy with our care which is great news.
My sister has been at Fairways Newydd for around two months. The managers of the home and the staff have been absolutely wonderful. My sister's situation was a difficult entry but has been handled with such empathy, care and support. We cannot recommend Fairways Newydd, the staff and the facilities enough. Nothing is too much and the support they offer to relatives is first class. Thank you for all that you do. I am reserving a room for when it is my turn!!
Thankyou Louise for your review. Its good to hear that we are happy to support in all areas. I will ensure this is fed back to our teamThanks once againBecs
My sister has been at Fairways Newydd for approx. a year & a half. I live some distance away but visit regularly and feel I now know both the home and it's staff. From the moment you enter you are made to feel welcome by a staff who are positive & committed to the care and wellbeing of their residents. The building is well maintained and constantly being renovated/improved. The changes make it feel less sterile and more homely but that doesn't mean cleanliness is overlooked. The housekeeping team keep the place spotless, constantly washing the corridor floors, cleaning resident's rooms & public areas. They look smart & without exception are cheerful & friendly.
The carers & nursing team show a kindness & patience that is a credit to their professions. Whilst I'd love to mention names, the guidelines of this survey prevent it. The number of residents & their complex needs does, however, mean that they are always busy & sometimes unable to spend as much time with each resident as they would wish.
Thanks for your review I would agree that our domestic team go above and beyond to ensure the home looks and smells as fresh and clean as far as practicable. The care staff try very hard and its not always easy for them to spend time with individual residents, as you say, on a busy day. some days...
The staff at Fairways have been absolutely brilliant. The care has been outstanding.Staff treat my dad with dignity and kindness.Everyone is pleasant and cheerful.
They have made my dad's life so.much more meaningful .
I can't praise them enough.
What a lovely review thanks so much for this. It can be a challenging job for the staff at times and its always welcomed when we get positive comments I will be sure to share this with the team.
The staff at Fairways gave mum a lovely warm welcome when she arrived and went out of their way to get her involved in the activities. The staff were always friendly, warm, caring, welcoming and helpful and we couldn't have found a nicer place for mum. The home has a very welcoming and homely atmosphere, it's beautifully clean and there are always staff available to talk to for help and advice. Mum was very well looked after and we can't thank them enough for their care of her.
Thanks very much for the amazing comments. We try hard to ensure that ALL our residents and families feel like its their home from the minute they arrive. I will ensure that i feed this back to the hard working team from Faye on the front desk to our fabulous domestic team. Thanks once again.
My brother has been a resident at Fairways Newydd Nursing and dementia home for a few years now, his care needs are complex and his condition progressive. The care he receives is great, the staff are kind, caring, respectful and treat him with dignity and compassion. Despite having to be fed now, he really enjoys the food which is nutritious and wholesome. The home is clean and bright. Whenever we visit, we are always made to feel welcome by all of the staff. We are truly grateful to them all.
Thank you very much for this lovely review. It is always a pleasure to receive praise for all the hard work our amazing staff do, from our carers through to our domestic team. I will ensure, this is fed back to the team and would like to again thank you for taking the time to go online and give this lovely review.
Our experience is very good, she loves her dinners.
That's great to hear, we have a great team in the kitchen, and chefs who really do try to accommodate everyone's different tastes, we will pass this review through to the kitchen.
I am very happy with the care my mum is receiving.
We're happy you're happy, it's lovely to know families can be assured their loved ones are having the best care. We will most definitely pass on your lovely comments to the staff looking after your mum.
Wonderful, dedicated and professional staff who make all the difference in the lives of their residents. They keep our family well-informed about our loved one and are very proactive in conveying important information to us in a timely manner and are very responsive to our requests. Dad is safe, secure and well cared for, which gives us peace of mind.
Thank you for your kind words. It is reassuring that you feel you have peace of mind, especially considering the distance between you and your loved one. Your positive experiences will hopefully reassure future families and we will feed this back to the team.
When arriving at Fairways as always a warm welcome is to be had by the receptionist, and the wonderful nurses are always on hand and available to answer any concerns I have and act instantly. The staff on Hafan are friendly and always ready to comply to any requests I have. As I visit on a Wednesday and Sunday I have noticed more staff available mid week. Attention definitely needs to be made to the activities as what is shown on the board dairy doesn't happen. In my experience but I understand this has now been resolved. I am not familiar with management as I rarely see them.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. It means a lot to us a a team to have feedback. I will most definitely inform the team In Hafan and the Nurses of your glowing report. The manager has an open-door policy, and is always available to speak to Monday-Friday.
