Review of

Napier House

from Sharon H (Daughter of Resident) published on 8 May 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

Dad was moved into the STAR unit in February from hospital. From the very outset the staff at Meadows were amazing, so patient and caring to not only dad but myself and my sister too at a very worrying time for us all. Resident's were encouraged to spend time in the main living / dining / kitchen area
which has a lovely, homely airy feel to it. Dad was also supported to regain his confidence to do things for himself in a safe setting. The care and support dad received meant he is now safely home, all thanks to the lovely staff, although I am sure he misses being offered cups of tea or coffee and a biscuit throughout the day now he has to make them himself!!

I was in star unit. Meadows. All staff amazing. & caring. Too many to mention. They are carers who CARE. Not just a job to them. Helped me in lots of ways. I could talk to staff if had an off day. Was my first experience at. 72 was delighted how I was cared for. For anyone needed star
unit can recommend. Would more than 5 stars if I could. Very grateful.

Methilhaven Home

from W B (Daughter-in-law of Resident) published on 20 March 2024
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

The home is now situated in a new purpose-built “care village” and my mother-in-law moved here on discharge from a hospital while awaiting a permanent care home placement. I cannot praise the staff highly enough for the care and attention they have provided, taking into account our family circumstances,
and going above and beyond to try to best support my mother-in-law in what has been a very challenging time for all. I would not hesitate to recommend Methilhaven to anyone, the kindness and dedication shown are so appreciated.

My husband has been a resident for the last year and I cannot praise the care he's had over this time, enough. The staff are so friendly, helpful and caring and the food is excellent.
