Whilst the care provided by the staff was in the majority very good we found that the actual wellbeing of the residents was not a priority in the home. Management's focus is on ensuring that the systems and processes are all in place that ensure excellent home inspections are achieved. There is a total lack of any kind of stimulation provided for the residents with many confined to their rooms for long periods. It was a great relief for all the family when we managed to secure a place in another home for my father.

It is also reassuring that you appreciate us taking our legal requirements seriously, and our endeavours to fully comply with all legal obligations as set down by Care Homes Standards and Northern Ireland Acts. Failure to comply in this manner could result in enforcement action and could threaten the continued care within our home. Ensuring that these systems and processes are in place has also helped us prevent a Covid-19 outbreak in the home.We hope that you, your family, and your father, are very happy in his new home.
