My husband's Mum was a resident of El Shammah since Spring 2024. From the outset, the standard of care was exceptional. My Mum in Law was given menu choices to suit her palate, endless cups of tea and biscuits: ideal as food was a big motivator for her,! She received assistance with her activities of daily living - as and when required and requested.
Her care was handled extremely respectfully- allowing her to maintain her dignity and independence.
Her room and ensuite bathroom was always immaculately clean.
Her laundry was taken care of in a first class manner.
Most importantly though- The Staff. Every single staff member always greeted you with a welcoming smile. Their diligence with my mother in law's health requirements was second to none. In the event of any fluctuation in her health status, they informed us immediately and acted in her best interests.
