Most of the good staff, many of whom have worked there for a number of years, have recently left which speaks volumes in itself. Sadly I have recently lost my precious Mum but thankfully she no longer needs to endure a single second more in that horrible place. Review rules do not permit me to post
details unfortunately. It will be most interesting if this actually gets posted.

Well, my heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful staff at Corkey House Care Home, sadly my mum passed away in March 2022, very peacefully in her own room with family and staff around her, she wasn't packed off to hospital to lie in a trolley and die alone. That was my worst fear and the staff respected
this and did everything to keep Mum comfortable and pain-free. Mum was in Corkey House from December 2019 until March 2022, I could never ever repay the care she received there, she was truly loved and lots of the staff came to her funeral and paid their respects to my wonderful mum. There's always something going on, especially at holiday times and special occasions, VE Day and Platinum Jubilee, the staff dress up and really get the residents into the party spirit with lots of music, fun and laughter.
It is a wonderful place, the residents are well cared for, well-fed, kept spotlessly clean and the home, the facilities and the residents' rooms are second to none, spotlessly clean and smelling fresh.

A very caring and friendly home. The room was spacious, bright and cheerful and the ensuite had everything needed. During various lockdowns due to Covid when the residents were confined to their rooms, the staff were checking on my sister frequently and chatting to keep her spirits up.
I would definitely

I live in Spain, but I am delighted that my mother is being looked after so well at this lovely home. The home is on one floor, brightly decorated, and spacious. Various rooms for sitting, lovely dining room, hairdresser, etc. I sat with my mother for lunch and it was great. But most important of all,
the staff are all lovely, from the nurses to the cleaners. A lovely team.

The care home is always well kept and "homely" and staff make an effort to decorate it beautifully for different seasons and events. We have always been made feel welcome when visiting. Residents are treated with kindness and dignity and I have always been impressed with how staff interact with residents.
They are polite and attentive. I really admire the job that they do.

This is an unbelievable home...Every time I entered the building to visit my mother I felt I was at home....The atmosphere alone would make you want to go there. The staff , food, music , cleanliness, decor activities the grounds and garden etc I could go on,,, My mum has passed on now but because I
was made so welcome I'm going to keep going back there ??

My grandparents recently passed away after spending time here. They were really well looked after and the staff were incredibly kind. Very patient and generous with the residents whilst doing what must be an incredibly difficult job.
