Mum move here 6 months ago took a while to settle . But because of the kindness of the staff and how the home was professionally run she now feels part of a family. I can actually say after singing in a few homes it's the cleanest home I've ever set foot in . I would recommend this home , which I did to a friend and now his mum has moved it . Which he thanked me said he was very pleased , with her care .

My Granny has been well looked after ever since she moved into Bramblewood Care Home. Her level of care has been top class. The staff are very friendly and you can tell the care home is very well run. I would recommend this care home to anybody in the local area.

Bramblewood is a well laid out home, with great facilities and excellent standards of care. The staff are second to none. From the wonderful food produced by the chef, the domestics, carers, the nursing staff & activities team they all go above and beyond for their residents. I wish dad had been there for longer. Thank you for the kindness to me when dad passed and giving him the dignified passing he deserved.

Excellent service, very caring considerate staff. Good communication with staff, they keep me well informed of all developments. Good facilities, my parents are well cared for and I feel reassured knowing they are comfortable and well cared for.

My husband was transferred to Bryansburn Care Home in March 2026. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. After a few days he developed some sort of delirium which he never fully recovered.

Care received for my sister to a very high standard. When the family raised concerns about the sister's unusual behaviour, staff acted on it very quickly. Family very happy with Marina Care Home.

My sister in law, who has dementia has been a resident at Bramblewood Care Home Since February 2025. She has settled in extremely well and is very content in the home. I am extremely pleased with all the care she has received. All of the staff and management are very caring and supportive and treat the residents with respect and dignity. The staff understand her condition and make every effort to involve her in all the activities that take place. The home is clean, bright and well maintained and the rooms are kept clean and tidy. From my experience I would highly recommend Bramblewood Care Home.

I would like to thank all the staff at Bramblewood Nursing Home for their kindness and support they gave to our mum. Going into a nursing home was such a difficult thing for my mum and the family, but I know we could not have had better care for her. Mum was always clean and tidy, the food was always good and plenty of cups of tea and biscuits etc. I think the staff do an amazing job, we saw first hand how much organisation it takes, and assistance the residents need, and they always perform their duties with patience and kindness. The staff were always very welcoming to us, and even our little dogs when we brought them to visit.

This was our first experience of a nursing home, from the moment we walked in we were greeted with a friendly smile. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. When my uncle became unwell the staff got the acute team to tend him and when he needed stronger pain relief they got that sorted for him They kept us informed at every level of care. I would highly recommend this care facility.

The staff in Rockfield are very professional, kind and caring. My mum was treated with the utmost respect at all times. The nurses, care assistants, domestics, kitchen staff and staff who looked after entertainment and beauty treatments were all lovely and treated my mum with great respect. The building and rooms were very clean and food was delicious for my mum.

My mother was a resident here from 7th April 2025- 3rd Aug 2025, when she sadly passed away. The staff in Rockfield treated my mum with the utmost care and respect while she was there. They were gentle + kind towards her and also to our entire family. All staff, in all departments played a part in making her comfortable and well fed. The building is maintained to a high standard. We would recommend Rockfield to anyone needing a nursing home.

Overall am pleased with Mum's care. We do all washing, but sometimes nighties and socks disappear and don't reappear. Some staff have poor English, and it's hard to explain particular needs, as with a lot of care homes, some have great staff and a few who can be less enthusiastic.

I visited my mother last night (Sunday 18th January) and found her hanging out of her bed in a dishevelled manner, she had been lying like that for over 30 minutes until I arrived. The staff who are, supposedly, to be "taking care" of her had not checked her for more than half an hour. They were "busy doing nothing" when I walked in. This is not the first time I have found my frail, elderly mother in such a state. I have noticed other residents who have been largely ignored and overlooked in a similar state. At almost £1000 per week this is an absolutely indubitable disgrace and a shocking state of affairs! I will be complaining in the strongest possible manner to all the owners and senior staff in Rockfield. I will NEVER accept such maltreatment of my mother. Another point is the sub standard state of some of the food dished out for my mother to eat. Prison inmates are treated better!

My mother has been a resident for almost a year at Bramblewood. As a family we have been really pleased with the care she receives. The care the food and the activities all contribute to make these later years for my mum more enjoyable.
