My mother became a resident from the end of January of this year. Before moving here my mother would seldom eat any meal offered or provided. If she did they were tiny amounts. She slept sometimes as much as two days at a time. Her care here has been excellent. She has regular meals and is encouraged to spend the day outside of her room. She converses with other residents too. The home is spacious and bright. Events are laid on regularly for the residents. The staff are exceptional and will always cater to all of their needs. I can safely say I am at peace knowing that my mother has the best care possible. Every time we visit her she is always smiling and comes across as a very happy lady.

Since my Mum has been admitted to Castlemaine, I have been truly impressed by the care she has received. Her move into care was necessitated by advancing Dementia and complex care needs. Since she has moved in, her overall health and well being has greatly improved. The care of the staff team has enabled a serious and longstanding health issue to be almost completely resolved, something I did not believe was possible. Penny in particular has been very understanding of my Mums needs and has been an invaluable support to me as I try to navigate the huge changes that occur when someone you love needs permanent care. Every communication I have had with Penny, Jeeva and the rest of the wonderful staff team, has been clear, compassionate and professional. I have witnessed first hand the care, knowledge and patience the team have in supporting my Mum and the other residents there. I finally feel like my Mum is in safe hands.

My wife is a completely different person after just a week at Castlemaine. She is sleeping well again and looks relaxed and smiles. Unable to communicate just a few days ago, she is now able to converse. Staff can oversee her all day long and she has space to wander as she does each evening in safety. I made the decision to place my wife here based on the great care I saw and the great attitude of the manager.

Just visited my dad yesterday for there garden party.just to say all the staff and carers where brilliant and all the residents and visitors loved the music and food. Well done to everybody involved.myself mum and all our family was made so welcome . Great afternoon

I cannot fault the Nursing Home. Since my husband has been in the home he has received excellent care from all the staff who have been amazing. The home is clean & well kept and all the residents look happy and well cared for. All my friends that have visited my husband have been very impressed with everything & everyone.

My father has been a resident of Castlemaine since summer 2021. The care has been consistent and kind all the way through with the core staff remaining the same. The facilities and activities have much improved over time, as has the general upkeep of the home. Despite my father's declining and challenging mental health needs, the staff have remained diligent and kind.

My husband has been in the Care Home for 6 years now. I have always thought the staff and management to be very friendly and very helpful. My husband seems to be very happy.

My partner has had a good experience settling in, he has good rapport with all staff and management. He is treated very well and help offered when needed. I can visit any time of the day or night if needed. Food is home cooked daily and is a varied diet to suit everone.

My husband was in late stages of his Alzheimer's when it was necessary to find a safe and understanding place for his remaining years. I was fortunate that a room had become vacant. It had a homely atmosphere that I required to visit daily. His room met his requirements. The staff were warm and friendly and constantly interacting with all. The meals were adequate to keep him nourished. He was always fresh and clean and the staff worked hard to keep hygiene standards. Management were slow issuing contract and confirmation fees, but communicated well to rectify to my satisfaction.

I cannot thank the staff at Coombe Dingle Nursing Home enough, for all they did for my father. he was only in the home for five days, as he left hospital so poorly, but they looked after him with care, compassion and dignity, and this ethos, we found reflected across the home. There is a friendly, family atmosphere, and had my dad been in better health, he would have enjoyed getting to know everyone and participating in the varied activities. I would wholeheartedly recommend Coombe Dingle, and am so relieved my father spent his last days being cared for by the staff there.

Staff & management are so helpful & friendly feel at ease knowing my husband is being well looked after.

When my husband was admitted to Coombe Dingle Nursing Home 7 months ago, he was very frail. Management arranged for him to be fed with fortified food straight away. He soon gained some weight and really enjoyed his food. The carers were so welcoming not only to my husband to all the family. Although my husband is confined to bed the staff always check regularly to make sure he is safe & comfortable. I cannot find any fault in the quality of care he is given.

My dad was in Coombe Dingle for a very short time. Myself & my family were so impressed with the place it felt like home. All of our family members wished we had found Coombe Dingle 6 months earlier. I cannot give it enough praise!

Our only regret is that we did not move mum over to Caterham sooner.

My sister requires full time care and her needs are many. She is not always the easiest person to look after, having severe learning disability as well as dementia, but the team at LH do a wonderful job. She is treated with love, kindness and dignity and I cannot rate the home and its staff highly enough.

We couldn't be happier with the care for grandad here. The staff are so friendly and compassionate and always go above and beyond. It is reassuring to know he is in such good hands, it has made the transition a lot easier for us and we are so grateful for all they do for grandad.

Leighton House has been amazing with my grandads care, they have helped immensely in settling him and keeping him comfortable. All the staff are so friendly and truly feel like apart of the family. We are all so grateful for all they've done for us, thank you!

I know my grandmother is in good hands being looked after by the hard working staff at Leighton House. I get great peace of mind knowing that she is well cared for and her needs attended to. It is always a pleasure to visit.

We are so pleased with the care Dad receives. He has settled so well, and all the staff are so lovely and caring. He loves all the staff, especially Faz and Tarek. Thank you for looking after him so well.

I'm very grateful for the care the staff have shown towards my beloved husband at times when it has nexessary they have gone beyond their duties to ensure he is cared for in the best possible way. They have given us, as a family, support and kindness all the time my husband has been a resident. I am thankful for their patience, understanding and the respect they show my husband.
