Coombe Dingle Nursing Home

Just visited my dad yesterday for there garden party.just to say all the staff and carers where brilliant and all the residents and visitors loved the music and food. Well done to everybody involved.myself mum and all our family was made so welcome . Great afternoon

My husband was in late stages of his Alzheimer's when it was necessary to find a safe and understanding place for his remaining years. I was fortunate that a room had become vacant. It had a homely atmosphere that I required to visit daily. His room met his requirements. The staff were warm and friendly and constantly interacting with all. The meals were adequate to keep him nourished. He was always fresh and clean and the staff worked hard to keep hygiene standards. Management were slow issuing contract and confirmation fees, but communicated well to rectify to my satisfaction.

I cannot thank the staff at Coombe Dingle Nursing Home enough, for all they did for my father. he was only in the home for five days, as he left hospital so poorly, but they looked after him with care, compassion and dignity, and this ethos, we found reflected across the home. There is a friendly, family atmosphere, and had my dad been in better health, he would have enjoyed getting to know everyone and participating in the varied activities. I would wholeheartedly recommend Coombe Dingle, and am so relieved my father spent his last days being cared for by the staff there.

Staff & management are so helpful & friendly feel at ease knowing my husband is being well looked after.

When my husband was admitted to Coombe Dingle Nursing Home 7 months ago, he was very frail. Management arranged for him to be fed with fortified food straight away. He soon gained some weight and really enjoyed his food. The carers were so welcoming not only to my husband to all the family. Although my husband is confined to bed the staff always check regularly to make sure he is safe & comfortable. I cannot find any fault in the quality of care he is given.

My dad was in Coombe Dingle for a very short time. Myself & my family were so impressed with the place it felt like home. All of our family members wished we had found Coombe Dingle 6 months earlier. I cannot give it enough praise!

Our only regret is that we did not move mum over to Caterham sooner.

They had a good understanding of his condition and he was shown great dignity and compassion during his final days. Would thoroughly recommend them.

My sister, Anne has had multiple mental and physical health issues which the excellent staff at Coombe Dingle Nursing Home always dealt with professionally and great care and consideration. I know that Anne was a difficult patient, often declining the assistance she required, but that did not deter the staff from providing the best care possible.

My Mum spent eleven happy months in Coombe Dingle.

The staff, Management Team and the Medical Team throughout the whole period were quite simply outstanding.

Caring, knowledgeable, understanding and always happy.

Nothing was ever too much trouble for any of them.

I would 100% recommend Coombe Dingle to anyone who wants the very best for any loved ones.

Dad found a new hobby whilst being at the care home he started painting and making airfix models which helps to fill his time as he was getting bored and felt isolated when he first arrived at the home.

Having worked in care homes before, I am most impressed with running of the home, it meets all my wishes.

It is a very upsetting experience to visit a family member in a home that specialises in dementia however in the case of Coombe Dingle the care, kindness and patience shown by all the staff (wether nurses, cooks, carers or cleaners) makes the experience a little easier

We can not be thankful enough to have found them and would recommend them to others looking for a place of care.

Coombe Dingle provides the perfect balance, professional, caring, and personal. Set in a beautiful, accessible location with lovely gardens, the home is calm, clean, and welcoming. Staff are exceptional: warm, respectful, and compassionate. They treat my father with real dignity-some even call him "uncle," which he loves. They celebrated his birthday with decorations and care staff joining in. Communication with us is excellent and my father is now settled and comfortable. Given his condition, the team are doing everything they can. Improvements could include enhanced in-house physio and better showering facilities for those with limited mobility. Coombe Dingle has given us real peace of mind and I would fully recommend them to others looking for kind, dignified care.

The care and attention given to each individual is remarkable. Staff members are not only attentive and responsive to every need, but they do so with genuine kindness and patience. It's clear they build strong, meaningful relationships with the residents, treating them with the respect and dignity they deserve.

My mother is residing here, she is very very happy and being looked after by all the staff very well. The home always let's us know how she is doing and also let us know of things such as covid etc. Mum is comfortable and calm here. I can call the home anytime to see how mum is doing and I am able to visit without making an appointment. I am very pleased with all that the staff at coombe dingle and their care of my mother.

Great nursing home for my mother, she has been looked after for many years now, and they have listened and taken on board any concerns I have had, staff are kind and respectful and do their job very well

Day to day routine is comfortable, adjusting to the resident needs and requirements.
