Home in 2022 and as you would expect we were anxious as a family over this. Well, what can I say. The love and care he received from the home was second to none. He was treated with the utmost respect, and I cannot thank the staff enough for what they did for our Gramps. Even to the very end, he was treated with such dignity that we as a family will be forever in their debt. You treated us like family, and we felt the home was our second home. I know you will miss him too and that is a true testament to the impact our Gramps had on people. I will miss hearing the stories you would tell us of his mischievous behaviour which again I cannot repeat out loud!

She continues to be very well looked after and treated always as an individual and with respect. Heathermount is a small home with a small, stable staff team and this creates a homely environment that is always cheerful, welcoming and positive. My mum particularly appreciates the excellent food, and we enjoyed spending Christmas Day with her at Heathermount where we were also made to feel very welcome. As her only child and living 5 hours away, it is greatly reassuring to know that she is comfortable and largely content in this phase of her long life.

They took time to get to know Mum well and encourage her independence. The care she receives is excellent.
I have observed everyone from the office to cleaners, cooks, carers, being involved and contributing to the benefit and well-being of all the residents.
The teamwork is exemplary.
Family members are always welcome at any time and are involved and updated on any changes promptly.
We are very fortunate to have found this home for Mum and the dedicated staff have come to feel like extended family members.

more. Cannot thank their general manager enough, she’s held our hands and guided us from the initial viewing, liaised with our useless social worker to get Mum safely settled. She arrived very frail and bewildered, fast forward to now she’s eating, dancing and literally skipping around, which she used to do a long time ago, but most importantly she has her smile back. All the staff are amazing so friendly, caring and treat Mum with such dignity. Nothing is too much trouble. You feel like you’re in someone’s home, it’s immaculate, the rooms are lovely with beautiful furnishings and attention to detail. The menus look great, keep saying to Dad to have a meal up there, he’s even planning to reside there! Thank you so much.
