Placing my dad in a carehome was an admittance of faliure on my part. But short lived. The quality of care is outstanding. The kindness and professionalism goes above and beyond throughout the team. The skill and attention to personnal needs caterings to him, and other patients is breathtaking to witness. Just watching their reactions to the enterainment provided from the weekly singer to the school choir is heartwarming to watch. The recent BBQ provided by the team was excellent too. I've always felt welcomed and listened too by everyone. From a friendly hello to a cuppa and a reassuring chat. Nothing is unable to be said. Dad is happy and feels safe. There is no judgement when hes a handful. Just amazing kind people willing to help. From Management, Nurses, Carers and all other staff. You choose you profession and practice it admirably. I highly recommend Chiltern Croft Carehome and will never change his home. I have nothing but praise and would highly recommend here.

My Mum went into Sunrise Nursing Home after having a fall and breaking her hips. The option was 4 carers a day or Sunrise, we as a family decided on Sunrise. It was a hard decision to make. Mums room was lovely and Mum was pleased to have a tv in her room, the staff were very caring with her needs. If I had any worries I would go and see Kay the Manager or if she wasn't in the Senior Staff would make a note and the problem would be sorted. Likewise if there were any issues with my Mum they would tell me and I would address the situation. My Mum was very happy there and I felt settled Mum was being looked after. The food was lovely and they catered for my Mum being diabetic and a cake was made most days. Jugs of juice were in every room. The staff were very polite and looked after my Mum amazingly. I worried less knowing she was being looked after. . Mum also like the activities especially bingo and the country band. My Mum called it home. I would definitely recommend Sunrise

My husband has now been in the care home for a year. He was made welcome from the start as were the family and friends when visiting him. He is well looked after and it didn't take him long to settle in. The staff are friendly and very helpful and always ready to answer questions, nothing seems to much trouble for them. The home is clean, tidy and more like a hotel than a nursing home. It's a happy place where everyone is welcomed.

I am a current resident and find the staff very kind and treat me with dignity and respect 100%.

My sister spent the last nine months of her life in the above care home. She enjoyed every moment she spent there they treated her like family and myself when I visited. The staff go way beyond to ensure the people are comfortable the food is good as any restaurant I have ever eaten in. All I can say is a massive thank you to all the staff for making my sister so happy loved and cared for.

Our family cannot fault in any way, the help and service the staff do for my Dad. They are angels, always there, when my dad or us need anything. My dad is at end of life but I know he is happy and feels safe. Our mind is at rest now because he is safe, fed, looked after and loved. Thank you all so much for your help.

After two failed attempts I am so relieved to have found Chilton Croft. The minute you walk through the door it feels like home. The smiling staff obviously enjoy their jobs & there is a calmness here that is reassuring. I no longer worry about my father & his care. I can relax, knowing that he is safe, content & cared for.

My wife has been at Chilton Croft Nursing Home for over two and a half years and in that time she has received excellent care and support from the staff and management. I would without hesitation recommend their excellent care to anyone.

My sister became a resident at Chilton Croft Nursing Home in August 2025. She was very underweight after a few weeks she gained weight and was bright & happy. Her room is very clean and comfortable, she is also clean and dressed well. The staff are all so kind and have time for all the residents. I can't find anything to worry about and we wish all the staff a very happy Christmas.

When I moved mum in, I asked about pictures and decorating, Kay said that this was your mum's home now and that I could do what was needed to make it homely for her. So I provided the wallpaper, curtains and shelves and they were put up on my behalf. If I did have any queries, I would raise them with Kay and she would have it resolved straight away. The carers, nurses, activity coordinators and the handyman were all very caring and approachable, and within a week mum had settled in and was enjoying playing bingo, therapy dog visits and exercise classes. Mum enjoyed the food offered and they were able to accommodate her purée needs. I would highly recommend Sunrise Nursing Home.

Following a brief hospital stay our dad moved to Sunrise Nursing Home for end of life care. During his brief stay. The manager was approachable and very supportive. All the staff were friendly, kind and very respectful towards dad, and to all family members who spent many hours there. Thank you to all, and for helping us through a very upsetting and difficult time.

I never regret the decision to move her there and our family are still close to the Staff even after Mums death In June of this year. I can't recommend Sunrise highly enough.

My father is very happy living at Elton Park Care home. The team are always cheerful, friendly and have a positive attitude. Nothing is ever too much trouble. I know that dad's care and social needs are always met. The team encourage dad to participate in a variety of activities so I don't have to worry that he is lonely or bored. The home is clean, spacious and safe.

We as a family could not have wished for better care for our father. The staff were friendly. Always had time to speak to our father. The respect they showed our father was above and beyond although our father did not have a long stay before he passed away. The staff kept us informed at all times, and treated us with respect and gave us the time we needed and support right up to the end.

My Mum moved to Chilton Croft, from another care home. The care she is receiving is excellent. I cannot fault Chiltern Croft. The staff are great with her. I also feel much more relaxed now she is at Chiltern Croft, it's a great care home.

And her dressing gown was hooked up from a cupboard handle high up making it difficult and unsafe for her to retrieve. When this was pointed out we were told well if she had a fall trying to get it they would know as have sensors in the floor to alert them to fall. Unbelievable.
