I am a resident here and celebrated my 66th birthday today. I have had a thoroughly smashing day. The residents and staff are my close friends in any event but I felt really loved today. I was presented with a beautiful birthday cake slightly larger than my head and we all had music and singing and hugs. Thank you to all the people here who know they're special and thank you to all the ladies and gentlemen here who don't know. You're precious.

The new manager has been excellent and has been so enthusiastic and keen to make changes which is reassuring for myself and the family. I feel I can approach the manager if I have any concerns and it will be addressed accordingly. I am happy for my sister to be at the Willows and the excellent care she receives a big thank your hard work

We have family meetings at the end of each month where we can meet other friends and family and are kept up to date with all home news.

My Nan has been at The Willows for nearly 5 years now and I’m very happy with her care there. The staff has always been attentive, kind, and caring with sincerity. Additionally, with me being the only member of my family taking care of things for my Nan and looking out for her best interests, I have found them all to be an immense support to myself as well. The current management team is fantastic and I really cannot fault them. My Nan’s level of dementia throughout her time has worsened, as is natural with this disease, and in no way due to the quality of care given. The team has always done the best for her during every single stage of her dementia. I highly recommend The Willows and the care team. I give my utmost thanks for everything that they do for my Nan, the other residents, and the relatives of residents.

I would recommend The Willows to anyone looking for care for a loved one.

My nan has been at The Willows for a couple of months now, she is extremely happy in this place. They have been nothing but nice and friendly to her, they care for her every need. Every time I come here she’s always singing their praises. Thank you to every staff member who looks after her.

Had a great experience with The Willows when my aunt was here on respite for a couple of months. They were very professional and made sure to keep her gluten requirements at the forefront of her care - this was something we were very worried about with putting her in care for the month.

Overall, they’ve been pretty good. During the lockdown, they made sure that Mum and I spoke very frequently and even asked me to come for window visits when she was feeling down. Mum seems a lot better in the home vs when we had carers coming round to assist her. She seems to enjoy the activities they do in the lounge.

The manager of the home was very good. She allowed me to drop off food for my father-in-law every day during the lockdown as he has very strict dietary requirements and only likes our ethnic food. I think that care is hard to find in homes now.

My sister has been at The Willows for some time, and I’ve been very happy with the care she’s received. The family was very sad when we couldn’t visit her at Christmas, but this wasn’t The Willows fault. I’m overall pleased with everything.

I’ve not dealt with the home much previously as my brother took care of my mum's placement. He’s moved now, and I’ve taken this responsibility over, and I was very pleasantly surprised with how helpful they can be. I’m not a big fan of one lady, but I’ve heard she’s no longer working there. The new manager is great though. She helped us have Mum moved downstairs due to her legs no longer functioning as they used to. I live in Birmingham, so I wasn’t able to do the window visits during the lockdown, which they were aware of. Since last week, I have since received three calls from them asking me to book a visit to see Mum. It was nice to see how much they care that Mum interacts with her family.

My Nan has been at The Willows for a couple of years now. The staff are very caring and take good care of her. She is definitely getting worse as time goes on, but the team at The Willows keep catering to her needs. Can’t really ask for much more from a service!

The staff have been wonderful with mum. Caring, compassionate and cheerful with her. We are all relieved that we know mum is being properly cared for on all levels.

My sister and I have been very pleased with the care, the attitude of staff and manager of The Willows. They have listened to our feelings and emotions and treated our mum with kindness and patience. Nothing has been too much trouble.

Every time I come to the home the staff are always very welcoming and supportive of my friend. Everyone is well dressed and the meals are lovely - like a 5* hotel. I am always saying what an excellent home The Willows is and would recommend it to anyone who is put in a position where they can no longer cope with the illness of a loved on. Very pleased.

Our families would like to thank staff and carers for the care and attention given to our mum during her stay with you until her passing away. We think your care and kindness is 1st class and the Willows is a lovely place for people who need residential care.
