I would definitely recommend Boughton Manor to anyone looking for Dementia care.

Since visiting our friend we have found all the staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. The home is clean and the meals are very good.

Adeline House is spotless, with a very first impression, very, very clean. All the staff seem lovely, very friendly, caring and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble.

Boughton Manor took care of my uncle for the final six months of his life and I cannot thank the staff enough for their care and compassion they showed during the difficult time. The amazing team were consistently attentive, treating him with dignity, patience and genuine kindness. The environment was peaceful and we felt reassured knowing he was in capable and caring hands, particularly in the last weeks when his partner was allowed to be beside him, as she had promised him. We are very grateful to all the staff at Boughton Manor.

Mum has been a resident at Boughton Manor since last July. Having to place a parent in a care home is a very difficult time for all the family and we were all very concerned. The staff helped us all to deal with this next step in Mum's illness and Mum settled in quickly. We have always felt reassured right from day one that Mum's being very well taken care of and continues to do so. All of the team do an amazing job in looking after the residents' both physical and mental needs and they do it with a smile and with respect. It's like a big family who welcome the residents and their families and who encourage communication. The entertainment and activities that are always being organised are wonderful and it's so nice to have the opportunity to take part in them along with Mum. We all miss Mum and struggle with the illness she has, but we're reassured knowing she's being well looked after and is happy and secure in a lovely place in beautiful surroundings. Thank to all the team.

I do not have any problems with my sister's care. They keep me updated with anything and can always answer any questions I may have.

My sister spent the last year of her life here suffering from advanced Parkinson's and dementia. The care she received was outstanding. The home is clean and organised though very busy. The staff at all levels were kind and patient with her sometimes difficult and unpredictable behaviour. I was moved by the love and tenderness that I witnessed and, although it was sad to watch her decline, I knew that she couldn't have been in a better place. I would recommend Adeline House without hesitation.

The staff are always helpful and polite. They work tirelessly to provide care and the needs of all their service users. The meals are very substantial and every care is given for people with allergies. Adeline House Care Home is kept clean and fresh every day.

The final nine months of my dad's life were spent at Boughton Manor Nursing Home. The care he received was outstanding. The home is spacious and very clean. The food is very good, the care excellent. The administrator is professional, helpful and supportive. She cares about the residents and their families. The care staff treat residents as they would their own family, two of them in particular, had a special bond with my dad. They were so kind and patient. My dad's appearance was always clean and tidy, his clothes washed, ironed & labelled. I was always updated with his progress. Thank you to the care staff for their patience and for encouraging my dad to engage in activities, for bringing happiness to his life, providing genuine love and care and for showing so much respect and dignity, especially during his end-of-life care. I was very impressed by the level of care and highly recommend this home. I am forever grateful for their care, kindness and the support given to myself, especially during my dad's final days. My wife recently spent a week in Respite Care. I found the facilities and staff to be very good. The staff displayed a very caring and professional attitude and had obviously got to know my wife during her stay. I phoned daily and I was pleased that on every occasion I was able to be told how my wife had been since last phoning, never put on hold while the information was sought from another. So in short I would use Adeline House again without hesitation.

Overall, my mother's care is good. The lack of permanent staff is very concerning. There are a lot of agency nurses, and when I have rang to enquire about my mother on several occasions, I have been given information about other residents. When I have complained to head office, I received less than satisfactory answers. The complaints were made in writing.

I have been visiting my husband in this care home for over four years, four days a week. I find the staff work together as a team. The care and support for my husband and myself has been wonderful. I feel they are part of our family. It is a home where residents are given space, where they have the freedom, where appropriate, to walk around inside and outside in the grounds. The gardens are lovely. Access to management is easy, any queries or concerns are discussed and if necessary acted upon. It is not the building or decor in a care home that counts, its the care, support, dignity and love that counts in my book. At this Boughton excels.

Always no.1 when we visited, other patients ignored or told to wait. Nurse having a fag break when on duty. Very poor food. Told my dad had a fall and bashed his head on the bedroom wardrobe just like the place before. Trying to engage you in a contract besides charging massive amounts of money per week for basic care. Wouldn’t recommend sending a loved one, look elsewhere.

Adeline House staff has cared for my mum for 2 years with love, respect and kindness. Myself and family are extremely grateful to you all for the past care and future care ahead. At present we are all facing the most frightening time of our lives and yet all of you at Adeline House are placing your own lives at risk to care for not only my mum but the loved ones of so many families. Service, support and information provided to him and family was fantastic.

I would highly recommend this facility. It is a very warm and friendly place. All the care staff were outstanding and took very good care of my mum, not just physical care but gave emotional support, love and hugs. Daily activities meant my mum mixed with other people and had fun and enjoyment. The home is very clean and welcoming.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Adeline House to anyone, my daughter being there made her last few weeks bearable, and they have still offered me support after her death.
