Caring for others is undoubtedly a tiring and often thankless job, so I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone at Red Rose for everything you do x

My mum is a severe dementia resident . She is so happy and content there. She actually joins in with the activities on a near daily basis. She says she loves it there and enjoys speaking with the other residents. She loves it especially when the singers come and absolutely loved the animal visit. She has a nice room that is homely. There are always lots of carers about which to me is rare. She looks healthy and loves having her hair and nails done. She never seems anxious or worried. I am so happy that we found this gem of a care home

Outstanding , from management to all staff always a warm welcome at red rose , anything ever asked to be done it was always done straight away ,our lovely friend stayed here whilst finding it hard at home and it was amazing it was like from home to home we as part of her family can't thank them enough ,all staff are hard working from maintenance right upto to the cooks , would highly recommend to everyone I can only say thank you all xx

Fantastic staff, always friendly and helpful, can't do enough for my mam and dad. They provide excellent care. Highly recommend red rose if looking for a care home to care for a loved one. There is always great activities to suit all needs and abilities.

My mum is 96 & has been a resident since September 2025 & the care she is receiving is 1st class. The staff are all kind & considerate to both residents & relatives. It has given the family peace of mind knowing she is safe & well cared for. Mum had lost a lot of weight she has put on nearly a stone since being there. Thank you for your care.

Staff and residents definitely know how to party with regular parties the highlight of the month.

A small and personal nursing home. The staff are caring and attentive. My mum appears relaxed and well cared for which is comforting to the family and friends. I take great comfort in being able to discuss mums care and well being when necessary. The staff are excellent.

My husband has now been at Red Rose Care Home for 9 months and seems content. the care staff are very attentive and residents are well supervised with kindness and firmness when this is required. My husband needs very hands-on help with feeding, and this is encouraged to enable him to feed himself.

Renovations are ongoing so expect to see some tired rooms when visiting. First impressions can be misleading. They have made gains in decorating/updating the place since mum first when in.

I write as a wife to my husband who has dementia. I express his view as correctly as I can from knowledge of over 60 years of my husband. He is content and settled, now he has been at Red Rose over 6 months. I believe he may question the general appearance of the home relating to decor and upkeep but I know all staff strive to make everything as homely as possible.

I and my brother find the staff very good and they are doing something every day.

My dad is very settled and happy. He loves all the staff and all the staff love him. Can't fault anything.

Well what can I say this is an outstanding care home as my dad has the very best of care and I'm so proud of what everyone does to care, entertain, and look after my dad and he is so happy there as he went there came home for 12hrs and asked to go straight back as he missed them terribly. God bless you all and I can't thank you all enough you're all amazing.

There are always plenty of activities for the residents along with raffles and other fundraising activities. Christmas is always a very special time for families and their loved ones. Well done to all the staff, keep doing what you obviously enjoy and thank you.

I have visited Red Rose Care Home on several occasions now and have always been made to feel at home straight away. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff are extremely caring and very friendly. The residents are really well cared for and the home has a lovely, homely feel to it.

My mother in law was taken into hospital in October 2021. She was very poorly and due to covid we were unable to visit. After a full month, we were allowed to visit suitably gowned up to celebrate her 90th birthday. We were shocked at the decline in her mental health. At one point the family called to say their goodbyes. After a horrendous week, she seemed to pick up and was transferred to Red Rose Nursing Home just before Christmas. Following a two week isolation period, we visited, the change was immense. She was alert, chatting, had not lost her sense of humour. We had mam back. Cannot thank the staff enough for their care, patience and love shown to her.

I have visited many homes that my friend has resided in over the past four years, and Red Rose has, without doubt, been the best! The care that they give my friend and what U have seen them give other residents is, without doubt, second to none. I have always been greeted with a smile, and every member of staff is friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to residing myself when the time comes.

Mum has lived at Red Rose for nearly three years. Throughout this time, the staff have been truly amazing in the care they have delivered. They are all professional, friendly and caring, keeping me informed of any changes. Many thanks to them all for their professionalism and dedication to high standards of care.

It has been a challenging time for everyone. My mum's health has declined but the staff have always been very supportive and I can see on my visits the positive relationships and care they show. I'm always met with a happy face or a cheery tone, if phoning, by staff. I'm sure that staff have been tested beyond with the pandemic; keeping everyone as safe as they can and would like to say a massive thank you to all.
