I experience a nice, safe, clean home where I am very safe and am very much looked after. The staff are very nice. I have a good life now though; I do arts and crafts, I do drama, I go out on activities, and I go to town to buy computer games. I have a very nice keyworker.

My experience is good. I am happy with the care. I have many friends in the household. I enjoy my time in the home. Staff support me to be independent; I like talking to people.

After viewing 11 homes for my son Goldcrest House was the right place! Perfect building to meet my Sons needs (blind, autism and SLD). The staff are so friendly, caring and professional. Conservatory, sensory room, gym, kitchen. Every aspect of my Sons disabilities and how they affect him and others
around him is met. All staff have had to get used to caring for a blind person with additional disabilities and stick to a care plan, routines and boundaries. The person comes first all the time! My Son has settled lovely and made friends. He is safe 24/7 and I have built trust with the manager and staff and know if there were any problems they are instantly dealt with.

I have enjoyed my stay at the care home and enjoyed the activities I have been involved in. I have enjoyed things I have done in the community and had help for shopping and holidays that I have received.
