Care Homes Owned by GB Healthcare Group Ltd in South Yorkshire

My wife has been in 4 care homes since July 2024, she had to be moved for various reasons. But I can say categorically that Blossom Lodge is the cleanest & the care has been streets ahead of the others, and more to the point my wife is more comfortable there than any of the other homes. A calming place for her.

Friendly hard working willing to listen and help, home old bit rundown needs re vamp and may need more staff but staff very helpful and always rush of feet to accommodate everyone needs, i would choose this home over any other as know always do best of there abilities and beyond

Auntie arrived at Blossom Lodge from hospital on a D2A basis and stayed on a permanent basis for a further two years before sadly passing away in her sleep at 96 years old. The care home staff have all been exceptional from day one, making Auntie feel welcome and always treating her with respect and dignity at all times. We would like to share our gratitude and thanks to everyone involved, your kindness will be forever remembered.

Dad was sent from hospital to Blossom Lodge on a D2A bed, so we hadn't chosen it and were not sure how it would be. Dad was quite frail with late-stage dementia. The staff were lovely and really good care of dad so well during the 2 1/2 weeks he was here. Every time we visited dad looked so clean and comfortable with his favourite music on. There was always a member of staff popping in to see how we were doing and to provide some care. Sadly, dad died after 2 1/2 weeks here the we couldn't really have asked for more support for dad, mum and the whole family. Thank you.

I've enjoyed my stay at Blossom Lodge. I would recommend any one to stay here as I've loved every second of it, everyone is friendly and so lovely, met some really nice people.

We find this care home very warm and welcoming, they take great care of all his needs. The staff could not be better. Again, for all things related to him, I would recommend this home to anybody. P.S. Not only are the staff good with the patients they are also good with the families.

I would just like to thank every member of staff at Cherry Trees for their care, compassion and dignity shown to my Dad at all times during his short stay there. Nothing was too much trouble, Dad was always in clean clothes and clean bedding and I appreciate this was not always easy due to his illness. Every member of staff was always kind and pleasant, he was never left alone when it mattered and I will always be forever grateful to Senior Nurse for being with us at the very end, you made a heartbreaking moment in time a little more bearable, I felt reassured by you being there. A safe, compassionate, caring and dignified place for any loved one to be. Thank you all again.

The local GP is really nice - I was here during a routine visit.

They are very good at supporting the relatives of the residents too.

My husband has been here for two weeks and seems to have settled in. He was in hospital for three weeks before and didn't like it. Staff are very friendly and always ready to help. The food is mashed easy for him to eat. The home is clean and all the staff welcome visitors. My husband seems happy and content here. Well looked after and that is the main thing.

My feelings are I could not be happier about my stay here and the staff. Everybody was so good and kind, I was so pleased.

My Mum has settled in here really well, mainly due to the fact that every single member of staff have been so kind. Treating her with dignity and compassion. They are always so pleasant and friendly towards all of our family at a difficult time.
