I think this place is a nice place to live. The staff here are well organised and reliable and they know how to work with the residents. The food here is the only flaw here, it's cheap as chips, I think they could make the food more enjoyable. I have been a resident here since December 2023 after moving
from a care home in Littlehampton, I got kicked out of there because of a drug habit, I lived there for just over ten years, I think Aahana House is a better care home than my previous care home. I like the area here, there's no trouble in this town (Coulsdon). The rooms are nice and roomier with nice furniture. There is a smoking area which is handy to have. The food is cooked well but there are some meals I do not enjoy, when there's food I don't enjoy served I eat Weetabix as an alternative, there are two set meals here per day; one decently sized lunch, a reasonable meal for dinner time and there is a snack time allocated, for breakfast I could write more.

Since March the home has been in lock down, and the staff have worked tirelessly to keep the residents safe, but more importantly happy.
