Care Homes Owned by Drumconner Ltd in West Sussex

I really enjoy visiting Drumconner as the atmosphere is very friendly and professional with a lovely garden to sit in and enjoy. But I think most importantly for my friend who is a resident he feels safe and cared for which I can see is the core value of Drumconner. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the quality of this care home is exceptional.

My mother stayed at Drumconner for respite care for a few weeks. Although she felt very unsure about going she ended up really enjoying her stay there. The staff were always so friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend. Thank you for all of your help.

I would highly recommend Drummconnor to anyone looking for outstanding care for a loved one.

Moving home is always traumatic but it was pure joy moving to Drumconnor. As the user is wheelchair bound he was collected by Drumconnor staff in their specially equipped transporter van then driven onto Drumconnor. Cheerful introductions and laughter put the user at ease. More welcoming faces and introductions to staff from an assortment of positions prepared the way to his chosen room and the comfort of the recliner. The ever ready British cup of tea preceded lunch. From the entrance hall, lift, corridor and the user's room, everywhere was spotlessly clean and smelt fresh. The room had a view of the sea which brought a smile to the new user's face. Having been born in Brighton the sea plays an important part in one's life. Recognising an avid Elvis Presley and football fan the maintenance staff affixed his extensive collection of memorabilia to the walls of his room. As a socially adept man his photographs and other objects readily inspire conversations with staff and visitors.

My sister has been at Drumconner for 4 years. She absolutely loves it, and the staff are lovely and take very good care of her. The food is really good and the staff are always on had to speak to if needed.

My friend had superb care in a private room, with her own personal bathroom and a lovely sea view. Her room and the entire home was clean, comfortable and inviting. The care was professional, with friendly, kind staff. I would recommend Drumconner to anyone.

My grandpa spent a few months at Drumconner Care Home, and I can honestly say we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, the staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring-not just toward him, but toward our whole family.

My partner needs a lot of nursing care and I am more than happy with the care he receives. All the staff are lovely and make me feel very welcome when I visit. He has dementia and I feel well supported by the nurses and carers

If anyone is looking for excellent care for a loved one I would urge them NOT to heed the latest CQC report but to visit Drumconner and see for yourself.

What an amazing care home. Heard it was the best and can confirm it now! Mum was so well looked after. Best food best rooms best care! Always staff were able to answer questions on her health and well being or were able to get help in doing so. Nothing more we could ask for.

During my mother's stay at Drumconner both my self and mum found the staff kind and helpful, the care could not have been more attentive or better. Mum loved her environment, a room a lovely sea view where she would sitva gase out of the window.

My Uncle loves it at DrumConnor. Food is good, service is spot on and staff are very friendly. Annie and Chloe on reception always make you feel welcome and nothing is too much. Highly recommended. Thank you for looking after Chris.

After moving my cousin from another home, we are both delighted with the standard of care, room, atmosphere , food, & the communication between staff & cousin. He is so happy at Drumconner. We are welcomed every visit , Anne & Chloe on reception are very welcoming & friendly, they pass on messages from my cousin if he wants to see us. They also accept his many online shopping orders, taking them up to him. The nurses, deputy & manager, are always accessible, answering any questions or concerns , they also keep us informed on all medical updates. It's wonderful to be reassured that my cousin is happy and well looked after .

I feel strongly that the recent damming CQC report does not reflect the high quality of care I have witnessed.

I have taken my own step mum to visit mum and she's amazed at how lovely Drumconner is xx

I requested that the home manager contact my mother (or myself) so she could explain the circumstances and answer my mother's questions, but this has not happened.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful and I feel happy to know that my mother is being cared for 24 hours a day.

Our family have been in constant communication with all the team there, as well as being supported as well. It's a beautiful nursing home with clean and excellent facilities/food/activities.

I cannot speak highly enough of the staff care and activities provided for mum.

I was initially very worried about how my mother-in-law would settle into Drumconner. The staff have been brilliant in helping her to settle in look after her and involve her in the daily activities of the home. This is appreciated by the family.
