My friend now resides at Dell Field Court and I honestly couldn't speak more highly of it. The home is always clean, well run and it has such a friendly and welcoming feel to it. The staff are genuinely lovely to speak with , very approachable and personable, and you can tell they really care.


Jayram

is fantastic! He's easy going but also very thorough and meticulous. He's always been accommodating, kind, and great at sorting out any issues quickly and calmly. It really gives peace of mind knowing the home is managed to such high standards and that my friend is so well looked after.


Overall, we're very grateful for the care home and their staff as they're doing an an amazing job!

The staff are helpful and caring. The food is pleasing and varied. Activities are available if wanted. Bedrooms are well thought out in design. Settling in issues were sorted out in short order.

Very empathetic and attentive care provided, especially during normal working shifts. Care home has good ambience and pleasant and highly caring staff and management providing exemplary care in what is a most challenging requirement.
Two areas that need flagging.
Care level during night shift tends
to be variable.
There continues, despite promises to the contrary, a glaring lack of Gujarati, or even Hindi speaking carers on the first floor where majority of residents speak / understand these languages. I have seen extremely caring and well meaning staff not able to speak these languages struggling to communicate with the residents through no fault of their own. They try and perhaps manage to achieve an acceptable level of responsiveness but it is not always ideal. Ironically a Gujarati speaking carer with years of experience is deployed on other floors. This makes no sense. She happens to be highly caring and understanding carer who would help address this gap on the first floor.

We have taken several steps to address these issues. We do have Gujarati- and Hindi-speaking staff, although some team members understand Hindi but are not fluent in Gujurati. To support communication, we use simple English, speak slowly, and apply different communication methods to ensure residents feel listened to and cared for.
Recruiting Gujarati-speaking carers remains challenging despite ongoing advertising. Applicants must also meet health and safety requirements and complete mandatory training, as staff may need to work across all floors when required.
We have reallocated staff where possible, but we must maintain balanced staffing across the home based on resident needs and required ratios. Please be assured we remain committed to improving communication and care for all residents.

My husband came to Dell Field Court for respite he is now a full-time resident here. The staff and carers are all amazing. Caring and very patient. I am happy with the overall care given.

Dell Field Court has been nothing but helpful and caring to my father-in-law and to us as relatives. They helped us with the process of placing him into the care home and took a lot of stress away from us. Dell Field Court has been refurbished and is so fresh and clean. There are not too many residents
so they get individual care as well as communal. I would recommend Dell Field Court to anyone looking for a safe and caring home for a relative.

My 81-year-old Mum recently moved in and has settled in very well.
The home/rooms are well kept - clean, warm and comfortable.
Managers/team leaders are kind, caring and approachable.
The care staff are also nice and friendly.
Very Good food both Asian and non-Asian
The rooms are a good size, bright,
clean and homely.
I highly recommend this nice, welcoming, care home.

The staff at Dell Field Court are wonderful. They work really hard to provide a safe and caring environment for my mother, who has dementia. The food is very good, the staff are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Management is great and very approachable. There are activities for residents to keep
them occupied, my mum's room is clean as is her bathroom. Thank you all!

Avoid this care home at all costs.
No follow-up or ownership by management on any areas of concern or follow-up, also staff are incredibly rude and hostile to visitors if you ask any questions they do not want to answer.
Food is terrible and a total lack of support to address any issues.
Do not
be taken in when you first go and visit the home, there are huge failings by both staff and management which they refuse to deal with.

I have been looking for my friend/business partner for many years and I finally found him at Dell Field Court by the council staff who were very nice and helpful.
I visited him at Dell Field Court and met with the manager. I was so impressed.
He took me personally upstairs to see my friend after many
years and the staff arranged a nice meeting for us, with lovely tea and a biscuit.
The atmosphere was so homely and comfortable, I was even planning to book a room for myself.
I was very happy seeing my friend really well looked after at Dell Field Court.
This home is highly recommended. I will visit again.

My mother only moved in a few weeks ago after being alone at home with carers visiting 4 times a day only. She already seems much happier and is being looked after and cared for 24/7 with a new group of chatty friends.
I can see that this care home is miles apart from the others we briefly experienced.

This is the second time my Husband has stayed at Meadowside. He does attend the day care home. Again I am very happy with the way in which he has been looked after. The staff are excellent and very caring and I would be very delighted for him to stay again in the near future.
