My mum has been at this home for nearly three years and she and the family have nothing but praise for the lovely staff. As they are so pleasant and helpful and nothing is too much for them. Mum is happy with everything at the home and has settled in nicely.

Since my previous review in October, a new manger has been assigned with two new activity staff and bedrooms are undergoing renovations.
This has improved all my comments.

The staff meanwhile continue to be amazing.

My mother has been a resident (emergency temporary and permanently) since December 2014. My father was with her for the first 14 months. The staff has always been supportive of the family as a whole.

After the disruption of refurbishment, they are forging forward with activities and events that residents seem to enjoy.

We have been having problems with mum's care in the last four months, she lost her glasses and it has taken twelve weeks to get a new pair. The smell of mum's room was smelling of urine, when I complained to staff, they didn't take notice. Me and my sister had to clean mum's room as it smelt and when mum had an accident, the staff couldn't find one pair of knickers and mum smelt. We asked where mum's deodorant was and no one could find any. They said mum hides things when we asked where her deodorant was, as they couldn't find any.

Overall Experience
I applaud the whole staff from management, carers, cooks and cleaners. My mother is treated with dignity at all times, even when she, due to Alzheimer's, gets angry and frustrated.
They reassure her, prompt her to eat, help with personal care. Her room is cleaned every morning while she eats breakfast. Above all, we know she is safe!

Management contact me straight away if there has been a problem. They show compassion, ready to listen to my concerns and give advice. The other residents are happy and well cared for. That is why we chose Weybourne for our mother.

A brilliant home. Staff are exceptional! Nothing is too much trouble, caring and kind. I know I do not have to worry about my mum as she is being well looked after.
