Always smiling.

From the moment my father was transferred from the hospital through to his passing, the care and attention he received was everything we hoped it could be. Dad was treated with compassion and courtesy, despite being a challenging patient owing to his condition. The family considers ourselves lucky that Bennetts Castle Care Center was able to accommodate Dad and wish to thank them for their professionalism in challenging circumstances; they excelled, and we wish to thank them unreservedly.

I have always found the staff very pleasant, they take good care of my husband, he is always smart and clean.

If I had to go into a home at anytime Bennetts Castle is the one for me.

This care home is full of CARE from the moment you walk in with the staff greeting us as friends until you leave and everything in between. We know that Dad is well looked after and given the care and compassion you would hope for as a daughter. We are very happy that issues are dealt with quickly and resolved and most of all that Dad feels comfortable, warm and safe in their hands as well as we do. Keeping us up to date with dads needs is always so helpful and we wouldn’t want him anywhere else !!! Fantastic staff doing an amazing job !!!!

I try to come every month to visit mum, as I live in Newcastle upon Tyne. Whilst I’m in London I visit the care home on different days for a week or two due to my osteoarthritis I can’t go every day. Whilst visiting the care staff have been very kind and the care they are giving to mum is good. They do however express that even though they would like to do more they are usually short-staffed. Also, it would be nice if they can offer a cup of tea to visitors especially during the winter months. The standard of care seems to be good but the domestic standard in rooms could be better especially behind the furniture which I have noticed for some time in mums room. Otherwise, it is a lovely care home where all the staff are always smiling and friendly. I like it.

I always found the home to be friendly and caring, the manager can always be approached with concerns. The home is kept clean, comfortable and welcoming. The staff are loyal with little turnover. I am confident that my sister is being well looked after.

I find the care my dad gets to be very good. The staff are willing to help when asked, my dad is settled and content. Always a warm welcome, the home has a very friendly atmosphere. I would recommend this care home. The rooms and gardens are available to use.

My Dad lived here for the last 6-months of his life, until he passed away at the beginning of July, the care that he received was 2nd to none. All of the staff were friendly and always had time for him and our family when we visited him. Unfortunately, because of Covid, we could not visit dad for the last 3-months of his life, but we spoke to him regularly over the phone. The food was great, and the rooms were clean and tidy. I and my family are very happy that we chose this home for Dad. We would 100 % recommend this care home.

Your care for mum was superb. She was so looked after thanks to all the staff who cared so well for her. She was so happy there.

Excellent staff in terms of caring attitude and expertise. My Mum is well looked after, night and day. Activity schedule and members of staff who coordinates activities are wonderful. My Mum has had a new lease of life since she has been a resident. Very good quality of food and cleanliness - excellent home all round.

As with anything, there is some room for improvement, but generally, I am very happy with my sisters care.

After arriving at the home on August 31st 2018 he fitted in immediately, never asking to come home. The team look after not just the residents but their nearest and dearest too. They treat the residents with respect and nothing is too much for them. Even the cleaners and kitchen staff interact with him.

My partner did not want to go into a care home. I went to see a few before this one, I told him my views when I saw it for the first time and he agreed to try it. The second day he told me I had definitely picked the right one. He was well looked after and well fed and completely at peace when he died.

Doing much better than èxpected.

All staff were very supportive during my brother's final years of his terminal illness. Also, their kindness shown to me and other family members during his last week.

The staff were approachable at all times and extremely helpful. They made us feel at ease whenever we visited.
