Overall Experience
My mother has been at Bullsmoor Lodge for nearly 4 1/2 years. She is treated with dignity and respect. The staff always find a way of understanding her needs, especially when she is not having a good day.
There is a good variety of food on offer to the residents. Although my mother does not always participate, they have a variety of activities and entertainment for the residents.

They notice quickly when there is a change in my mother’s health and keep me informed of the doctor's visits and change to her medication.

The care home is managed very well there is always plenty of staff around and they seem to interact with the residents in a happy jovial way.

My mum has a lovely room which was redecorated and refurnished before she moved in. The home has an excellent detailed care plan for her and has managed to stabilise her screaming and mood swings. I can honestly say I am very satisfied with the care she is receiving.

The staff are friendly, polite, informative, observant and very caring. Clean and safe environment. The staff are attentive to my mum's needs and make every effort to keep her safe, entertained, happy and they also give her responsibilities as she likes to be busy, so she has a sense of purpose and pride.

My mum was losing weight and wandering, she is now strong, healthy and has put on weight and is very well looked after.

Overall Experience

My dad arrived at Bullsmoor Lodge from the hospital in a dreadful state. He was very ill and we were told there was nothing the hospital could do and that he would not recover. But after three months of the best attention and care we could ask for, our dad has been able to come home and is better than he has been in years!! The management and staff are truly wonderful and nothing was ever too much trouble for them and their patients, care and kindness was much appreciated by dad and our family.

I lunch with my dear friend once a week. It enables me to see what is given as I eat the same. Also, I am able to see how much she consumes as well as how she manages. I have always found the staff to be friendly and courteous to myself and observe that all the residents are treated likewise. Overall, I am very impressed with where my friend resides.

Overall Experience
Mum has been a resident for 2 years now. I am extremely happy with the home, the staff work hard and are very caring to all the residents and nothing is too much trouble. The menu choice is very varied and caters for everyone’s needs at the home. It is homemade and fresh and my mum always clears her plate.

I love spending time at Bullsmoor and I have got to know the staff very well as built up nice relationships with them. The home is always clean and smells fresh and has recently had some great renovations done. I would happily become a resident myself later in life.

The bedrooms are decorated lovely and feel very homely. My mum is very happy at Bullsmoor and I wouldn’t change a thing.

The home is clean, tidy and a friendly atmosphere. Staff appeared focus and attentive to residents needs. The atmosphere was relaxed and derived of background noise. Would have been nice to have some background music in the garden.
