Bullsmoor Lodge is a purpose-built care home, located close to Waltham Cross in Enfield, Middlesex. It forms part of the AgeCare group, an elderly care provider that aims to provide outstanding care in luxurious five star hotel standard accommodation.

The care home is designed to cater for elderly people requiring standard residential or dementia care. Every bedroom has en-suite facilities, a private telephone, television and emergency call system. All rooms are fully furnished but residents may bring their own furniture as they wish.

The home prides itself on having a professional, caring and considerate team of staff that will always go above and beyond to ensure their residents' comfort, safety and wellbeing. A full programme of activities is run throughout the week for residents to enjoy and participate in.

The staff are friendly, polite, informative, observant and very caring. Clean and safe environment. The staff are attentive to my mum's needs and make every effort to keep her safe, entertained, happy and they also give her responsibilities as she likes to be busy, so she has a sense of purpose and
pride.
My mum was losing weight and wandering, she is now strong, healthy and has put on weight and is very well looked after.

My dad arrived at Bullsmoor Lodge from the hospital in a dreadful state. He was very ill and we were told there was nothing the hospital could do and that he would not recover. But after three months of the best attention and care we could ask for, our dad has been able to come home and is better than
he has been in years!! The management and staff are truly wonderful and nothing was ever too much trouble for them and their patients, care and kindness was much appreciated by dad and our family.

I lunch with my dear friend once a week. It enables me to see what is given as I eat the same. Also, I am able to see how much she consumes as well as how she manages. I have always found the staff to be friendly and courteous to myself and observe that all the residents are treated likewise. Overall,
I am very impressed with where my friend resides.

Mum has been a resident for 2 years now. I am extremely happy with the home, the staff work hard and are very caring to all the residents and nothing is too much trouble. The menu choice is very varied and caters for everyone’s needs at the home. It is homemade and fresh and my mum always clears her
plate.
I love spending time at Bullsmoor and I have got to know the staff very well as built up nice relationships with them. The home is always clean and smells fresh and has recently had some great renovations done. I would happily become a resident myself later in life.


The bedrooms are decorated lovely and feel very homely. My mum is very happy at Bullsmoor and I wouldn’t change a thing.

The home is clean, tidy and a friendly atmosphere. Staff appeared focus and attentive to residents needs. The atmosphere was relaxed and derived of background noise. Would have been nice to have some background music in the garden.

After gaining valuable knowledge and confidence in the profession, she officially joined Bullsmoor Lodge in 2008, where she achieved an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care. Over the years, Shirley has progressed through various roles, eventually becoming Care Coordinator in 2017. In this role, she works closely with management, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care. Shirley thrives on challenges and enjoys taking on new projects. Maggie

Maggie Jackson

Maggie has worked in the care industry for 15 years, beginning her career at Bullsmoor Lodge. She progressed from Care Assistant to Senior, and since 2017, has held the role of Care Coordinator, working closely with the Manager. Maggie holds an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, as well as a Level 5 qualification as a Health Care Practitioner. Although qualified in Phlebotomy, she chose to remain in the care sector, driven by her passion for making a positive difference in residents' lives. Maggie is dedicated to providing excellent care and enhancing the well-being of those she serves.
