We chose Davids House on the recommendation of a friend and our experience to date has been really positive. Mum-in-law moved in just over a week ago and seems to have settled in very well. All the staff we have met so far from management to other staff have been so welcoming and kind to us. More importantly, we have seen how caring all the staff are to the residents themselves treating them with kindness, dignity and patience. The home is clean and comfortable, on a quiet road and surrounded by pretty gardens which are a lovely bonus for residents and visitors. The activities program is good and mum-in-law has already been taken out on a trip which she enjoyed a lot.

We always drive away knowing our relative is in the best place she could be given her health situation.

Mum moved into Davids house in May and is already very settled and happy after some initial reluctance. The Staff are helpful and attentive and do all they can to keep Mum comfortable. Mum enjoys the many activities and is helped to join in if she needs it because she is registered blind.

My father passed away at David's House this month after spending over two years at this care home. I can't praise the staff who cared for him enough. They were always kind and respectful and took time and trouble to learn who my father was and what made him happy. My strong feeling is that the staff came to know my father as well as any family member and they built a beautiful rapport with him. It took me quite some time to find a home that I believed would be the right place for my dad but after a talk with the manager, I knew he would be safe and well-cared for at David's House. Individual staff are so kind and devoted that I would leave the home feeling secure and happy that there was no better place for him.
